They have mismanaged 2 of my accounts so far. I am currently working on removing my accounts from the program and dealing with them on my own. YOU DO NOT NEED THIS COMPANY TO NEGOTIATE YOUR ACCOUNTS. This can be done on your own and you will control your fate. Example: I was sued on an account that not only was I sued, the judge declared judgement, and ONLY THEN did they get involved. Once they got involved they made a deal with the company then DID NOT PAY THEM when the payment was due. I then proceeded to get my wages garnished. I am telling you, you sign on the dotted line thinking you now have support that gives you the warm and fuzzies and this is far from the truth. They are liable for NOTHING. The management team and the receptionists are so far disconnected I end up having to recap my account to them because that have the wrong information and then argue with you most of the way. Their numbers are untrustworthy, they tell you "yes you can skip this payment without defaulting" then tell you a year later that you have to add 2000 dollars to the account or an extra 600 dollar for four months on top of your already high payment to ensure you do not default. I wasn't going to write a review because I have nothing good to say, but then I get an email asking me to write a positive review..... Here is your positive review.

RESPONSE to their response seeing as how there is not a option for my response:
I have taken note - since the beginning of this year I have been on the phone with your team over 30 hours YTD. I will not be on the phone more than I have to in order to fix problems you have on your end.
Please do not try to respond and put something out there so people see your working on it, this is far from the case. The only way to get anything done through your team is to get a manager on the phone and escalate your situation. Another example: I had my fee refunded for dropping another account due to a deal I made with the creditor themselves. I was told by George (supervisor there) I would receive XXXX amount back. I was counting on that money by Friday to ensure I had funds to give to my creditor for the deal. What happened, your payments team denied it on Wednesday but didn't tell me. So I call Friday after not receiving the funds and they had made yet ANOTHER mistake that resulted in not getting my funds until Tuesday the following week. This also required another 2.5 hours of being on the phone from my end to fix your mistake. ***** This happened after I wrote the review FYI. The madness and chaos your team is in still exists. It has happened to me now 5 separate times in 2.5 years. Unacceptable when our financial lives are on the line and you have nothing at stake.

I repeat - take control yourselves. You do not need this company to do a single thing for you. Call your creditors and approach the situation head on. If you dont get as good of a deal from the creditor so what? Your paying this company 17% of your total debt anyways. It will even out. Stay in control of your own financial state, it's never too late to take back control. Signing with this company is easily the biggest financial mistake I have made with the exception of getting myself in the position in the first place.

I am very pleased with my interaction with the Stonepoint associate. He was very helpful and able to make necessary changes to my program so that I can continue. Thank you very much!

I spent over an hour speaking with a supervisor. He didn't know the correct amount of the the program fee, gave incorrect information about my accounts, and didn't seem to have any solutions for pursuing more aggressive settlements of my accounts. I was glad to speak with a supervisor, but am disappointed that the company is so disorganized and giving out incorrect information.

The representative was very thorough and he explained it better than anyone else has. He was very patient and answered all of my questions.

Explaination of all facets of what to expect. The feeling like they are always there for you.

Stressful enough but I do not feel in this alone.

First you spelled my name wrong again. Second the first person I spoke with hung up on me. Third if this survey effects the second person I spoke to it's wrong. She was great. Forth I'm very unhappy and want action on my account immediately. Hopefully the negotiator or the attorney reaches out to me soon. I have a great offer that I reached myself and want it taken care of as soon as possible. I did the job you guys are supposed to do, not because I wanted to but because someone I spoke to a week ago said I could after you guys failed to act and my check is being garnished.

Please do not sign up with this company!! The employees are great but may not be aware of how the clients are getting taken advantage of. I continually paid into this company and now I have had wages garnished and a lien was put on my house bc Stonepoint has collected my money for 18 months and haven’t paid a dime to Discover. I have called repeatedly and never get any definitive answers. I am definitely going to withdraw and report to Better Business Bureau and may even see a lawyer.

Call Better Business Bureau and report them and get your money back.
The lied to me to join saying I would get a loan. It wasn't, it was fees. After 2 months not paying my banks, my banks kept calling me everyday. They didn't pay anything. At this point I paid $1200 to them. I called and questioned no answer. I cancelled with them and was told I was going to get a refund. They only sent me $30😳. In shock.... I reported them to BBB and for my FULL refund. This is a scam at its finest.

Been trying to get with Barry for 3 weeks. Keep getting told he will call me back and he never does. I'm about to get with a lawyer

Horrible company. I made it clear Friday and yet here I am again on the phone about the same thing.
