Awesome app to use for any small…

Awesome app to use for any small business. Packed full of great features that I did not expect. Used Stripe previously and this is far far better.

I have been trying to cancel my SumUp…



I have been trying to cancel my SumUp contract since June 2024, when our shop closed. Despite sending multiple emails — including a formal cancellation notice in January 2025. When I called their support line, I was told cancellations can only be done by email. Meanwhile, SumUp has continued to charge €52 every month for a service I no longer use and have not used for nearly two years. Afte multiple emails, I have finally received a response in April 2026 after hounding them on social media.

I am now owed over €1,500 in fees, administrative costs and interest, and have been forced to threaten legal action just to get a response.

If you are considering signing up with SumUp, think carefully about how easy it will be to leave when you need to. In my experience, it is close to impossible. They use English as an easy way to convert you to a customer but everything to do with cancellation is made doubly painstaking because the process is entirely in German

Sumup has just replied that they sent me many emails in response to my request for cancellation. Sum kindly send me proof of these emails specially from 2024 and January 2025. I've only heard from you on this subject this month after we wrote to you Social Media.

Without it, our agents can't assist further.

Dont use thier service

Dont use thier service , they take me 30 euros after i have made a bank deposit , so money gone and support dont exsiste , for me this site is not legit you will only loose your money , horrible exprience for me , i will never use Them again

Terrible terrible company

Terrible terrible company. Constantly refusing payments and customer service is dreadful. You can't actually speak to a advisor on the phone just a chat bot. They constantly cast blame rather than accepting there is a issue their end with their system.

We say this because refused payments might stem from several root causes, ranging from issues with your devices to a suspended account.

As for the inability to speak to an operator, you may request it if the response provided by our chatbot does not meet your expectations or simply does not address your query properly.

In the end, those are the only options we can suggest, as our additional information request, which would allow us to escalate it for you directly, remains unanswered on your part to this day.

Nonetheless, we hope the explanation provided was enough to shed some light on the situation, and apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused.
