The contractors were very clean and efficient and helpful. They made a great job of making over our little pond installing a new lining with a fountain, waterfall and lights. It was a lot more involved than I had imagined and they did a wonderful job or laying back the flagstones in an artistic way and supplying decorative shingle and it looked better than it did before. They worked very hard.

They have transformed our pond and it is now a special feature of our garden. They did all this in awful weather, rain and snow, but were always cheerful and helpful. They were very reliable and tidy. We would happily recommend them as true professionals.

Doug and Russell came to restore my overgrown spring feed wildlife pond, and the results have been great. From the initial assessment to the final clean-up, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and environmentally sensitive. They carefully relocated f newts, beetle and dragon fly nymphs while working hard to removing excess vegetation that was strangling the pond, trying to limit disruption to the pond’s ecosystem.
Communication was clear throughout, and I look forward to the ongoing visist to ensure we keep on top of pond health as to ensure a healthy and thriving ecosystem.

Great Job. Communication was very good and Doug very helpful with arrangements. Russell came to our house and did an excellent and thorough job sorting out our pond and plants. Plants were trimmed back and some re-potted, Russell was also able to give some good advice about ongoing maintenance and care.
Well worth the money

Doug and Russell did a fantastic job in clearing out my overgrown wildlife pond. They sorted out which plants were worth keeping and cut back the edges. The wildlife was all kept safe and returned to the pond. Everything was left clean and tidy, its now so much better.

Doug and Russell have done a fantastic job. We’ve had a significant remodel of the pond, deeper, wider, with new liner, new rocks to the edge, and a new waterfall. You’re never quite sure if you’re doing the right thing when you set out but they’ve both been brilliant taking us through the refurb step by step and keeping us updated daily with pictures on WhatsApp. The temporary storage for our fish was as also fantastic, stress free for the fish. The job is now finished and it exceeds expectations in all regards, and it didn’t cost a penny more than the estimate and they finished bang on time. As such we’d highly recommend Sussex Pond Doctor, Doug and Russell for your new or remodelled pond.

Doug and Russel spent a week rebuilding and relining our 35 year old pond. They had to work through some pretty dreadful weather but the result is a transformation. The pond is dramatically improved with a new cascading waterfall and a new filter system all installed with no extra labour cost.

Our pond some 15 years old was choked with debris and overgrown plants. Russell arrived on time and worked very professionally finishing a great job all to my specifications. The pond and waterfall are now functioning well with the fish and water plants (plus frogs) in far better conditions.

We needed a total pond refurbishment and are so glad we found Doug and his team. We needed a new liner, pump, stonework, drainage and decking replaced. All completed on time and to an exemplary standard. Nothing is too much trouble and any snags along the way are dealt with quickly. Our pond is now ready for another decade+ of use.

The entire service was terrific, from quite to scheduling in and then the deep clean itself. Will certainly use you again.

We had Russell here today to clear out our fish pond and restore it to it's natural beauty. I cannot speak highly enough about Russell's work. He was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and looked after our fish with expert skill. We had a great deal of pond lily, pond weed and muck to deal with and he handled it with immense care. He was also incredibly clean and neat and left the pond and fish in great condition. I learned a great deal by watching and talking to him - a very clever worker.

I have used Doug before so delighted to be able to get him to come and build my big, new wildlife pond. Could not have been any better.

I reached out to Sussex Pond Doctor after doing some web searching, we were wanting to have a wildlife pond created in our garden. The process was a very straight forward one and having sent over some ideas as to the pond we wanted, the work was scheduled in. We couldn't recommended them highly enough, we have now a fantastic pond, which blends in with the space really well, with a selection of pond plants installed. The whole install was really efficient and really well done.

Doug and his colleague could not have worked harder or more creatively to transform my old leaking pond into a lovely place again. The garden here is a challenging site, concrete mixes had to be wheeled up a steep hill to reach the pond, and many heavy boulders removed, later replaced. Doug made several suggestions that improved the marginals. Highly recommend.

Doug and Russell have created the most incredible wildlife pond for us. We can't recommend them highly enough, truly the Rolls Royce service ! Doug's attention to detail and knowledge on everything from shape to fill to planting was not only thorough but also incredibly reassuring. They installed a water blade to create a spring-fed waterfall just outside my garden room to give it a spa feel.
It looks absolutely stunning.
They also brought back into life an illuminated water jet that I had lost all hope with, and rewired all water features and outside lighting with remote controls.
This will give us a lot of pleasure.
