SVFF has made learning Vietnamese so much easier for me! My teacher Huu Thinh has been great at helping me practice my pronunciation and conversation skills. I feel like I am making progress with every lesson as I learn new words and practice speaking and listening in Vietnamese.

I am learning Vietnamese with SVFF, and they make it so easy! My teacher Anh Hữu Thịnh is very understanding and patient, and adapts the lesson to me in order to boost my learning experience. The website is also very well organized and they provide lots of helpful information, including textbooks, lesson recordings, etc. I highly recommend them for Southern Vietnamese learning! I wanted to learn Vietnamese as a beginner so I was researching online and came across Mr. Hữu Thịnh and SVFF to help start things out for me. Scheduling is flexible and I appreciated the feedback on tone and pronunciation correcting my mistakes so I can improve my learning. I recommend.

I got paired with Hồng Uyên with my trial and and it's been great ever since. Unlike language learning apps you can get real time and realistic feedback on your pronunciation which is so important in Vietnamese.

Working with Uyen is helping me not just understand the words but understand when and why its used specifically in the Southern dialect.

I need to be fluent to communicate with my inlaws and working with Uyen at SVFF has filled me with so much confidence in just a short 10 lessons.

I've been studying with SVFF and Anh Hữu Thịnh for a bit more than half a year now and the progress I was able to make in that time is great. I tried to study for a long time before that by myself but was never able to make any good progress. But with the help of SVFF / Anh Thịnh, the courses and the custom built homework assignments I'm now already able to hold short conversations and pronounce everything clearly.
So I can highly recommend to anyone who seriously wants to learn Vietnamese to study with SVFF!

I've been studying vietnamese with SVFF under Ms. Hong Uyen and it has been a good experience. She is very patient and careful about teaching me proper pronunciations as in the past i've picked up bad habits by trying to learn on my own.

I've been learning Vietnamese with SVFF for over 6 months. The classes are really enjoyable and cover everything from general discussion, history, interactive games, culture and so much more.

I particularly like how structured the classes are compared to other Vietnamese classes (e.g. Preply), and that you get given homework for self-study and further improve.

The best thing about the classes by far is the teacher. My teacher Miss Minh Trang is fantastic, I couldn't have asked for a better tutor. She's really lovely supportive, organised, an excellent communicator/teacher and even spends her own time outside of the lessons to share content, music, films etc with me.

The learning resources offed by SVFF and my instructor Hồng Uyên have been a huge help in my Vietnamese learning. I learned more from a few sessions than I did over a year+ using language apps. I plan to stick with SVFF until I reach my learning goals.

I've been studying Vietnamese through SVFF for a few months now and it's greatly helped with my understanding of the language and culture. My teacher Hồng Uyên has done a great job, working with the course material, playing games, and having general discussions. I still have a lot left to learn and I look forward to my lessons every week.

My teacher, Ms. Hoài Thương, is consistent, reliable, professional, understanding and forgiving of my mistakes. Most lessons are done entirely in Vietnamese, except when I need to explain something in English. We have a lot of fun in the lessons which is necessary for such a difficult language. When Ms. Thương has been on holiday or taken time off she has always told me well in advance, and it has been no problem to arrange a different teacher. I've had two others for one or two lessons each, Ms. Minh Châu and Ms. Thủy Tiên. Both were fun to learn with and helpful. It's good that the lessons are relaxed and not strict, but still treated with importance and pride; there is homework which keeps me focused on days without lessons. I started learning Tiếng Việt in late 2020. I have been learning with SVFF for about 6 months now, and I plan to continue.

I have been taking lessons with Miss Thảo Nguyên for two months and am already feeling much more confident in my Vietnamese. Having started with SVFF as someone who grew up around Vietnamese speakers but never having taken formal lessons, she takes care to tailor our lessons to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. She cares to get to know me on a personal level and takes the time to prepare content that pertains to me, such as a lesson on baby-related vocabulary after I told her I am pregnant. She is such a kind and patient Vietnamese teacher and I look forward to our lessons every week!

I'm coming up to my 10th online lesson now with SVFF. I would recommend this company as they have high quality online material that they integrate into their lessons which definitely adds fun and variety to the learning experience. My teacher, Miss Hồng Uyên, is an excellent teacher and fluent in English so its easy to understand her which is important when it comes to online learning. She is also patient and happy to answer any questions. The company has a multitude of teachers to choose from and you can have an initial 30min free online trial lesson with one of them to see if they are a good fit for you.

I've been taking lessons from Ms. Thảo Nguyên for about half a year now and have really enjoyed it and am so grateful to have her. I really appreciate how passionate she is about language and linguistics, and am so impressed by her abilities when helping me navigate the nuances and minutiae of the Vietnamese language. What I am most grateful for is how collaborative she is in my education. Nguyên is always pushing to challenge me, while also being very receptive when I get overwhelmed and need to slow down. Overall, I can't praise her enough and look forward to continuing my studies under her guidance.

I've been doing lessons with Miss Thảo Nguyên (she's a wonderful teacher!) for a couple of months now and have made much more confident progress with Vietnamese than I had done on my own. There is tons of content in the online textbook that you can go through (independently or with teacher). Regular lessons with the teacher is great for improving speaking and listening. Would recommend this to anyone who is interested in Southern Vietnamese!!

I highly recommend SVFF to learn Vietnamese language. It was very important to me to study the Southern Vietnamese dialect as I have family connections with South Vietnam. What I appreciate with SVFF is all of the resources and additional activities to learn with each lesson. Previously I had zero knowledge of the Vietnamese language. I was glad that in the beginning I had learned Level 0 which was to teach the pronunciation of each letter, tones and accents. Only after learning Level 0 classes was then able to move onward to Level 1 classes.

I appreciate being able to learn Vietnamese online with virtual classes with a person directly from South Vietnam while being here in the U.S. in California. I felt it was worth it to see better progress for me to have the one on one video classes with the teachers. Considering the online resources and all of the teaching assistance the one on one lessons are more beneficial to me.

I have been having a wonderful time learning with Mr. Thịnh as my current teacher. Mr. Thịnh is very knowledgeable and patient when teaching new topics and lessons. He will give real life examples during each class. Every single class has been fun while learning. By the end of each session I always feel that the time seems to fly by very quickly. I appreciate that Mr. Thịnh takes the time to assign homework after each lesson to reinforce what I just learned.

The communication has been superb, way better than expected. If I have a question for example the response time has been pretty fast. I have been happy to be able to ask a random question and know that will be able to communicate pretty easily with Mr. Hữu Thịnh and SVFF.

The lessons are challenging so that I have been able to progress pretty quickly from the very beginning. There is still so much more for me to learn as I am a beginner at my current stage. I look forward to continuing my learning with SVFF on my learning journey.

I’ve been doing lessons with SVFF and Ms. Mình Trang for a few months now and it has been very helpful in my language learning journey. The one on one lessons add extra insight in addition to the course material. Ms. Trang also adds in history lessons in addition as well as breaks down the more difficult lessons into digestible content. Would 100% recommend her for lessons.

We have been using SVFF for almost a year now. Chi Minh Trang teaches my two young kids ages 9 and 10. She is amazing and my kids have learned quite a bit of vocabulary as well as talk in complete sentences. She is very good at reviewing subjects before introducing new ones. Has many games to break up the sessions and my kids love her class! We highly recommend Chi Minh Trang- very good with kids, organized and always has an agenda before class every week. We love her!
