Frustrating customer service

I have had a very frustrating experience with the multiple customer service reps on the student services line. The last call with Marcus who literally barked at me demanding to know my first name and last name. I couldn't get past him for anything then when it came to helping me he didn't even understand. He kept asking me to repeat myself and my issue. He needs a lot of training I would say. Then the second time I called I was answered by a Faria who kept repeating herself and saying no worries all the time. Another half wit who couldn't service me at and couldn't take a payment. I was on hold for almost 25 minutes. Do these people do any work at all? And think we have no work to do. The third time I called I was answered by Mike who kept telling me to take care pushing me off the line not servicing me. And the fourth time I talked to a Julie who asked me to go to a campus when I live in regional nsw. Kept telling her that and she kept saying go to the campus. I thought by that time I had enough of tafe when I was put across to a lady called Moana who spoke to me like i was hearing impaired so loud and spoke to me like i am a child. I had my enquiry escalated to be sent login details and asked to pay online when I don't want to I want to talk to a person. Which part was i not making myself clear?? I still do not understand..if this how nsw goverment education department is heading.. I would rather go to community college to get my certification. So much so for customer service. I am waiting to see ai replace these fools who are useless zombies anyways.

DOGGY AND SCAMMER

TAFE stands for “Technical and Further Education”. TAFE institutes are government funded Registered Training Organisations that offer Vocational Education and Training relating to a specific industry or occupation. THEY TOOK GOVERNMENT FOUND BUT THEY DON’T OFFER TO YOU A FREE TAFE SO THEY DOUBLE THEY INCOME FROM GOVERNMENT AND FROM YOU They are very DOGGY

Rude customer service

Enquired online about fees for an online course, shortly after received a phone call from a young man. Very rude. After I answered the call and said yes I was interested in a course but just wanted to enquire about the fees to know if it is affordable for me, instead of discussing fees he appeared irritated at me and began to argue it’s not just about the fees, there’s much more to the course…
Won’t be studying here.

Keep shopping. The pressure to upsell is intense. Feels a bit "scammy"

After submitting a request to gain more information about a simple, short 20 hour online course I was contacted by someone who sounded 15 or 16 years old, with no idea what she was talking about and reading a script (poorly) that was designed to upsell me to a $3000 course. In addition what she was talking about seemed to make no sense to me and was not at all related to the course I wanted. I decided not to even consider this supplier and found the same, certified and internationally recognised course elsewhere for $520 including the exam.

Expensive!!!!!

THESE COMPANY ARE NOT TAFE! Very expensive course which I can have for free at Tafe in Melbourne. So pushy and still calling and email me even after I say not to. I hope others see this and don’t give them money!

Scam site

Scam site. Avoid. I made an inquiry because I mistakenly thought they were associated with TAFE. When I realised they weren't I stopped communication and didn't apply for any of their courses. They regularly send spam to my mobile number, which included an opt out option. The opt out link is likely as fake as they are. I have blocked their number but now they continue to spam my number from a source which hasn't got a number so therefore can't be blocked.

THIS IS NOT TAFE DO NOT ENROL

I enrolled bc I thought it was tafe. I applied for Certificate of Ethical Hacking.

The course it self was alright but these people are trash, customer service is appalling and they will make sure you’re locked in and hard to withdraw.
I’m going through a tough time at the moment, can’t fund myself due to other responsibilities and necessities.

Now I know part of it was my fault as I had trusted this site. But honestly these people are money hungry and pathetic.
They thought my circumstance wasn’t good enough and now I’m here contemplating whether I should end it for good because of the debt I would be accumulating.

DO NOT ever EVER enrol, once you got through it you must follow through they won’t let you leave. F this company. Go to a trusted TAFE in your state such as TAFENSW at least they are government funded and approved AND won’t treat like a dirt on their shoe.

Not to mention, their reply times are awfully slow. I wanted to go rid of it as soon as possible and they making it hard to do so. Like one reply every 2 days.

Now I’m struggling and so is my family. THANK YOU TAFECOURSES for being a scam and an unsympathetic company.

Was easy enough to enrol in Diploma of…

Was easy enough to enrol in Diploma of Business, however the course itself is terrible. The online content teaches you nothing, instead I spend hours in google trying to teach myself the content to try pass the subjects. This makes this very very slow going, it is very frustrating and disheartening. The course content is aimed at someone who in already in the job and who needs to just get their qualification, it is not aimed at people who are trying to better their skills to improve job prospects. I managed to get hold of course notes from a private institution these notes are way better and easy to understand. I will be lucky to complete this course it is taking me much much longer per unit than what is expected, there is no way I will complete the course in the required time frame. I am also so over trying to learn every step with the assistance of google.

Dodgey misleading ..

Dodgey misleading ... And very expensive courses. That are not at all affiliated with Tafe.

Oh and very annoying marketing emails that you can't opt out of.

Very bad service

Very bad service. They don’t bother contacting. I had enquiry regarding a course, first it was not answered immediately. Took two days to respond and then just received a message. I wanted to speak to someone who could respond to all my questions. Just a text message was send with the website link. Pathetic service. Don’t want to bother enrolling in this pathetic service

Did a good job

I've got a quick response to get inquiry and very accommodating. Helping me the best way possible. Lastly, TAFE courses are great help for those who want to uplift their careers in other fields.

Received abusive voicemails

A staff member from this business verbally abused me in a voicemail about the tafe course I inquired about because I didn’t pay $2800 upfront. Appalling service. And to think I was going to give these people my money! I will do nothing but spread the word of the abuse I received.

it rubbish

it rubbish - you don't learn anything. All burocratic. You get to of a lot of non-blue-added work. I was asked to prepare 3 project charter on one subject. 3 times the same document for different projects. It's impossible to get through it being a part time student. Contact delivered is sad. Most of the answers I google them. one subject part time I have to plea-rare about 30 files at least. most of them templates but 30????
