In reply to Sid answer to my review:
Phone number 7396928006
This number was on a monthly auto renewal, no contract.
The payment method was deleted and the account too, yet I was charged again( illegally). I spoke on the chat help line and I was told by Joe to do exactly what I did it before.
Account was deleted alright as I couldn't log in.Joe sent a code to use. I logged in and my payment method and account were still there although shouldn't have been anymore. I now re deleted again and open a dispute via my bank.
Crooked phone merchant and useless on top of that.
Utterly disgusting.

I used the wrong address when ordering my SIM. Thankfully, Hamilton sorted it out almost immediately. Great backup service from Talk Home and Hamilton in particular.

Had £25 in my account and they would not refund, It is not there policy to give you your money back or transfer it .
Added 24/10
The legal position in the UK, based on Ofcom General Conditions of Entitlement and the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC) (effective April 2023), mandates that:
"Transferring providers shall refund, upon request, any remaining credit to the consumers using pre-paid services".
To your response -
Multiple sections on Talk Home's plan pages state the following under the "Cancellation & Refund" or "Requesting a PAC/STAC Code" sections:
"Requesting a PAC/STAC Code. Talk Home is compliant with the following Ofcom regulation: If you request a PAC code, we will provide you with one valid for 30 days. We will also communicate important information – such as your credit balance if you're a pay-as-you-go customer."
This statement, while not explicitly detailing the refund process in the snippet as you claim, is significant because it acknowledges compliance with the relevant Ofcom regulation (General Condition C7) which, in turn, incorporates the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC).
I strongly urge you to review and immediately update your Terms and Conditions and internal training materials. My experience highlights a significant failing in customer communication and documentation:
Your customer service staff repeatedly provided verbal and written advice that directly contradicted the legal requirement for a refund, which you have doubled down on today Sid.
This has now been escalated to the compliance Department and if the Compliance Department refuses my refund or fails to provide a satisfactory resolution within the required timeframe, I will immediately escalate this matter to the relevant Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme (either the Communications Ombudsman or CISAS).
I will take this further, this systemic failure means that it is highly likely many other customers will have been inaccurately advised, resulting in Talk Home improperly retaining non-refundable credit balances belonging to customers who followed the legal porting process.
Reported to Offom and received an email saying Talk Home have reviewed and will refund

Ordered a SIM but webpage error led to incorrect address for delivery. So tried to communicate to get amended, should be easy enough I thought. Then realised their invoice looked incomplete and lacked several important things such as a trading address, contact details and T&C's etc. Very dodgy and required in the UK on a legal document like an invoice. Their support email address bounces error messages repeatedly. I lost confidence at this point. Submitted a ticket to ask for cancellation which went unanswered. So resorted to online chat as last attempt to communicate. This was OK if painfully slow. There's a reason it's cheap and you'll find out when dealing with them. Not recommended, look elsewhere.

PS. the original TH e-mail assuring me their SIM would work in ALL unlocked phones did NOT contain the phrase "network compatible phones". Makes one wonder!
23.10.25. I have been advised not to engage further with Talk Home via Trust Pilot but instead to use regulatory and legal channels. What I can write in this last comment is that TH's e-mail assuring me their SIM would work in ALL unlocked phones failed to acknowledge my previous declaration to them of the type of phone I SPECIFICALLY wanted advice about - i.e. my Blackberry. TH customer services have since undermined their own claim of assurance by comprehensively explaining why it wouldn't. TH will be challenged over why this later info was not considered in their original e-mail of assurance that it would. My intention is still to hold TH to account and an allegation of mis-selling plus incorrect advice will feature. My opinion remains be careful with Talk Home customer support due to my experience.
To repeat, I will not engage further with Talk Home via Trust Pilot.
21.10.25: Sid’s reply that my suggestion below is incorrect is undermined by Sid being incorrect in claiming TH provided accurate information at every stage:
On 17.09.25 I e-mailed Talk Home customer support inquiring whether their SIM would work in my (legacy, unlocked) Blackberry Keyone as I knew its older android 8.1.0 system had limitations which meant I had to be careful. I gave them the phone's full specs. Next day their e-mail assured me their SIM would work in ALL unlocked phones. Accordingly I paid them £13.00 for a plan. But their advice was wrong as I couldn't make calls in the UK with my Blackberry. Subsequent e-mails from TH customer services contradicted their previous 18.09.25 e-mail of assurance and explained comprehensively why so, proving I was given incorrect advice for my Blackberry but it was too late as TH had my money. Expert opinion I have received suggests this should be investigated as mis-selling, an opinion which I am seeking legally.
TH have constantly refused to engage on the false assurance above proven by their undermining of their original 18.09.25 assurance e-mail; Sid has just done it here. The expert opinion I have received also thought Sid’s refusal to do so may be due to Sid’s replies being AI generated. So why did TH issue incorrect advice about their SIM working in all unlocked phones when it couldn’t? This fails their Terms & Conditions and Ofcom guidelines. TH haven’t even described the “deadlock” letter procedure to me. So much for Sid’s claim of “clear communication, transparent policies, and fair service for all customers“. I’ll report back when I get the judgement. But I still think be careful with Talk Home customer support
20.10.25: discovered my account originally had £13.00 in but today only has £5.00. I can't use phone, texts are free! Zero explanation from Talk Home. Another reason for me not to trust them.
Beware of Talk Home. Their customer services not good: they wrote confirming Talk Home SIM would work in my "legacy" phone (I didn't want to buy a newer phone). So I paid them for a monthly plan and top up. SIM arrived and it did NOT work despite repeated attempts. Then TH customer services issued several e-mails saying it wasn't their fault but that of my phone! They steadfastly refuse to accept their initial mistake and also have refused a refund. Betrayed my trust. Having to seek legal redress.

I have been told today by phoning talkhome customer services.I can not transfer my existing number as the new SIM is discounted.
And if talkhome transfered my number , the discounted SIM would be discontinued.
A nonsense.Never heard of this before. I have now cancelled the contract, and will continue with smarty.

PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE - reported these fraudsters to ombudsman for stealing my money from account & then denying this. Had to provide undeniable proof in order to receive refund - they tried blaming me, paypal and my bank. Thank you for such a grand gesture of goodwill for - asking the person next to you whether money has been taken from my account - basically doing your job - such a vile company full of cretins - make sure you are not their next target like the reviews below

Do not use the robbing bunch, I had a SIM which I could only make and receive calls, so I decided to move and the refused to refund my balance, which is mine , that are a rip off, the service is very poor

Stay away from them, they make unauthorised charges to your card despite de-selecting auto top up. Fraudulent company.
Further to the reply provided, I believe the review is entirely justified. The company had been made aware that i had also tried it in a handset.
I also made them aware that I had cancelled the auto renew. There is money sat in my account (it is in credit) which they feel, due to their terms, they are entitled to keep.
Useless coverage, useless customer service. I have money sat on account as a credit. However they rely on terms that they have yet to send to me to keep this. You get what you pay for. In this case I paid a budget price and got a budget service.
