Great Selection, Fast Shipping

First time using Tannico to find a little local wine I loved in Italy, and I’m so impressed! An excellent selection of wines, affordably priced, good customer service and delivered within two days from Italy via UPS for less than a tenner. Will certainly be using Tannico again and great to find a vintner I can rely on, thank you.

Great Experience!

I placed my first order with Tannico on April 15 and FedEx attempted delivery on May 1! Great fulfillment and shipping time!
The wine was picked well and I am very happy with the product and service. I will be ordering again.

Great service

Great service. I have been depending on them for the last month. Since we both are at home and we go through more wine than before, it is good to have a service so that I don't have to carry home numerous bottles from the supermarkets. I depend on the quality of Tannico's selection of wines.

Super satisfied

Am really happy with Tannico. A great selection of Italian wines, some of which can be difficult to source in the UK. The prices are very reasonable and whilst I was a little concerned about delivery delays due to Brexit (as indicated by some reviews), my cases arrived in 3 days!!! That’s quicker than when I order wine from UK suppliers! So all in all couldn’t be happier!

Inoltre la vicenda del Tignanello è stata risolta mesi e mesi fa on piena soddisfazione della ditta Antinori che ha collaborato alla soluzione della frode che abbiamo subito e della quale cui siamo ampiamente scusati

Avoid at all costs

I made an order at the end of November for delivery on 11th December. The order has not been delivered, I have sent numerous emails with no reply and their customer service is completely useless. I don't event know if I will ever get my order or my money back. Avoid!

Assolutamente da evitare: servizio pessimo e mancanza di comunicazione. Ordine in ritardo e nessun riscontro ad email o telefonate. I vini che ho ordinato sicuramente non arriveranno prima di Natale come avevo pianificato.

I'm terribly sorry for this bad experience you had with us, and that we couldn't grant you the assistance you would have deserved.
Your order has been handled in time to our carrier but the beaurocracy took longer than expected, and your order has been strongly delayed. We worked hard to get your wine with you by Christmas and the minute we saw the possibility we couldn't make it we sent you a communication and a coupon code to apologize for the disservice.
I'm glad that, at last, your order has been finally delivered in time for your celebrations.
I really hope you will get to give us another chance in the future, to prove our service is much better than this.

Some problems, great wine

Updating this review: Had some problems with delays to the delivery (Christmas, brexit, courier all played a part) and a long wait and initially a lack of communication, but then they did endeavor to correct it. Thierry was good. In the end they did get the wine to me. And I have to say the wine is great. You can’t get Italian wine like this delivered in the uk anywhere else and the prices are good too. The packaging is also beautiful. Hopefully it’ll be perfect once the operations in the uk are ironed out.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I purchased a £180 bottle of wine for Christmas at the beginning of November and had heard nothing from them apart from an order confirmation. As it was meant to be dispatched in December I waited until the shipment date and I still heard nothing.

I then tried to contact them through email, phone and Facebook and no response until repeatedly trying after three days I finally got contact on the phone. They then said the order was old and couldn’t help me and that I should email them - which I did. Coincidentally i received a response and they said “it was damaged during transport” and now out of stock. Then gave me £5 discount code for the inconvenience.

I kept asking why I wasn’t contacted but they never elaborated or couldn’t tell me when the incident happened. I’ve heard of companies like this where they pretend they have stock of a particular fine wine but in fact they don’t. Instead they wait for the money and try to source it cheaply and if they can’t it simply “gets damaged in transit” and hope the buyer doesn’t contact them.

They’ve said they have processed a refund so let’s see if that comes through.

Will never use again and cannot recommend to anyone - avoid at all costs.

I was sent the wrong bottle

I was sent the wrong bottle. Although I was given the opportunity to return it, t is not so easy from my address. I was given the opportunity to purchase it at a discount which I did because it was easier. Still, I would not have purchased his 28euro bottle if the mistake had not been made. (Mi è stata inviata la bottiglia sbagliata. Sebbene mi sia stata data la possibilità di restituirlo, non è così facile dal mio indirizzo. Mi è stata data la possibilità di acquistarlo con uno sconto, cosa che ho fatto perché era più facile. Tuttavia, non avrei acquistato la sua bottiglia da 28 euro se l'errore non fosse stato commesso.)

Not to be used if you live in the UK

Not to be used if you live in the UK. After almost 3 weeks since i placed the order, I chased the delivery and Tannico advised they have problems with UPS. I waited a further 3 days and advised i wanted my money back, but suddenly the shipment was collected by UPS and en route. Then 24 hours later, UPS tracking advised it had an incomplete address, which meant i spent 10 mins on the phone with UPS to correct this error. the first and last time I will use Tannico.
Added several days later .... And now for the Icing on the cake . The delivery arrived with 10 bottles not the 12 I paid for .

Fantastic selection of quality Italian…

Fantastic selection of quality Italian wines - not easy to find in UK. Great service - just be patient, it takes a few days to ship but it is worth it. Of course prices are attractive too.

Awful

Awful. Have been waiting 3 weeks for delivery and contacted customer service few times. At the end I had to cancel my order. No one wants to wait 3 weeks for wine. The website said clearly the delivery date but forget it they will not deliver it on time. You are going to hear from them "sorry we are doing everything to deliver on time but sometimes there are problem bla bla bla, please wait couple more days". Go for it if you want to wait for your wine a month. I will never use them again.
