The service appears to have a waiting…

The service appears to have a waiting list comparable to my regular GP practice. I tried to book an appointment for tomorrow but all full, same reply if I tried for an appointment any day this week! I was offered one today but inconvenient time for me. I’m deleting the app.

Will use again

Booked promptly for next day. Doctor was kind, helpful and gave me the prescription I needed, collected it that evening with no issues. Will definitely use again- cannot even compare to the slow, long winded process of getting an nhs gp appointment and having to wait a week for an appointment which ends up being weeks away. Thank you very much again

Top class service!!!

With it being a Saturday and my GP surgery closed, I initially rang 111 and was in a queue for 3 hours due to the mad pre xmas rush and knock on effect of Drs strikes.
I had a shingles flare up on my head and desperately needed medication to prevent the rash spreading, and clear up the virus.
My options were limited, and I couldn't face going to A&E for 8+ hours wait to be seen.
I looked up numerous same day doctor options which were all around £150 but no available slots until 4th Jan 2024.
After a bit of research I discovered tapGP. I signed up but was a bit nervous thinking it was a scam when it asked for my passport photo and driving licence.
I was quickly reassured after having a very professional consultation with the doctor. He was very knowledgable and took time to answer all my questions, as well as ask about my medical history and allergies etc.
I was extremely impressed with the instant prescription sent via text which had the option of the medication being posted or collected.
My consultation finished at 8pm, but fortunately I found a late night pharmacy within 20 mins drive away.
The online service cost £39 plus the prescription cost which is a bargain.
I will certainly use tapGP again. I wish I discovered it sooner.
