Tap Outlet were good initially but have gone downhill in my estimation

3 weeks ago I had never heard of tap outlet and had not bought anything from them. I placed an order with them due to good prices and the fact that they had all of the products I was looking for. Only part of that order arrived but they told me when to expect the outstanding part so on that basis I placed 2 more orders with them with goods now totalling over £600. Maybe that was a mistake as I have had nothing but trouble since. All items have shown as being in stock( but I don't think they were) so the delivery times should have been as quoted. Instead I was left to my own devices and got no indication as to when parts would be shipped. I only get a response from them if I phone, emailing is pointless. I wisely decided to get the parts I needed (for a bathroom refit) ahead of time otherwise I could have been left to either postpone or cancel my work. The problem is one of communication. If parts are not in stock do not say they are. If deliveries cannot be made contact your customers do not ignore them ! This is a lot of competition out there and most companies will price match so shoddy service is not only not acceptable but rather stupid in the current economic climate.

I really dont normally bother with reviews and market research for free for companies that have already taken my time and money but tapoutlet delivered well on every facet of the job. good stuff .. keep doing what you're doing !

VERY GOOD SERVICE

RECENTLY PURCHASED A MIRA ESCAPE SHOWER WHICH HAS NOT BEEN FITTED YET AS BATHROOM WORK TO BE DONE.THIS ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK WHEN I ORDERED IT FOR PROMPT DELIVERY.I WAS RE-IMBURSED MY P&P AND IT ARRIVED PROMPTLY WHEN IN STOCK.I WAS E-MAILED TO INFORM ME WHEN ORDER WAS DESPATCHED AND GIVEN A TRACKING REFERENCE.VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE.

Late delivery

I paid for 3 to 5 day delivery and after 7 days it still hasn't arrived.

Do you think they will refund the delivery charge as they have not kept their side of the contract.

Grohe Kitchen Tap

I placed an order for a grohe kitchen tap that was not a stock item i was told it would be shipped from Germany and could take up to 10 working days to be delivered.

I ordered on Monday afternoon and it was delivered on Saturday morning.

Great would definetly use again

We got there, in the end!

I was simply looking for a replacement toilet seat, but wanted to ensure that I got the right one. One phone call to a helpful young woman, who promised to ring back. A week later, no news, so I tried again. Different helpful young woman; same offer to find out and ring back! Another week later, another phone call - a man this time. Same outcome, but, within the hour, a call back, an order placed, and the seat despatched. It arrived in good time, and after an hour of problem solving, including discovering that the wrong instructions had been included, it was ready for fixing. Mission accomplished. Moral: if at first etc.....
