My husbands mum is 80 and lives 3 hours away from us with a live in carer as she has dementia and lost her husband a year ago. The oil ran out on Saturday evening so I phoned Tate Oil at 8am this morning who she has an account with. Spoke to Stacey - amazing lady, she rang a driver who was in the area and rang me back a couple of minutes later advising he could deliver 500 litres TODAY!! We can't thank Stacy enough - superb customer service!!
Updated - Stacey called back an hour later to let me know the driver was there delivering the oil already - WOW!

I have been a customer of Tate Oil for several years. I had a delivery early yesterday morning, but unfortunately there were two cars parked near the access to my tank. The driver had to park nearly at the limit of his delivery line. He managed to deliver the fuel without any fuss dispite having to struggle. He went above and beyond, well done.

This company has left my neighbour without heating or hot water for weeks. The driver reversed down the lane last Thursday then when another neighbour showed them where the tank was he just got back in his truck and drove off. He clearly could not be bothered which is shocking in this weather. You’d think that Tate Oil would do everything in their power to apologise and make sure oil was delivered as quickly as possible after that …..absolutely not. She is still without oil!!!!

She has now cancelled and ordered from elsewhere and is still waiting on a refund!
Absolutely disgusted with this company, I will make sure we never use them nor anyone else on the lane!

I've been ordering domestic heating oil from Tate Oil since 2018 and have never once felt that the experience I've had with them has been less than great.
- Their prices are very competitive
- Their drivers are polite and self-sufficient upon arrival
- Their customer service is great
- They have, on multiple occasions, they've bent over backwards to accommodate an especially quick delivery if I've accidentally run out of oil before ordering more.

I wouldn't consider any other company while I still live in Tate's service area.

Stacey Cousins is always very attentive to our account.
She rings on a regular basis to make sure we are OK for deliveries. and has also helped us out with other enquiries. For example quotes for temporary fuel tanks and tank cleaning services.

We've used Tate for a good while now and they have always been very efficient and easy to deal with. Recently I had an issue on a site we own and needed an emergency delivery of fuel to ensure we could run the building on the generator. Stacey Cousins sorted it out and we got our fuel very quickly.

We have been purchasing domestic fuel for 10 years now and Stacey Cousins was the first person we spoke to, she was friendly, efficient and very easy to deal with, she takes time to get to know her customers and build relationships. I wouldn't dare speak to anyone else :-)

As a NHS Trust, we have used Tate Oil for a while now. Recently we have a new building running off generators while we sort mains power. However, we didn`t get off to a good start with fuel deliveries. For some reason we kept being left short on our litres. That said our rep, Stacey Cousins continued to try and sort out the issues with the deliveries to site. Eventually, it was sorted. I`m hopeful now we get our fuel every 3 days as planned and the building doesn`t get plunged into darkness! Well done Stacey for keeping in contact at all times.
