Still love the tax and accounts product after 15+ years of using. Good to see the product expansions to Groups and Charities. Our only bug bear is with the Companies House Forms module which prevents a five star rating.

Makes tax much less complicated. Great product
We have used Taxcalc for some 15+ years for our personal tax returns. It continues to be the best tax product out there for personal tax returns, with the ability to switch from the (impenetrable) HMRC tax forms to Taxcalc's "simple steps".
Taxcalc have done a really good job of trying to make the requirements of the ever expanding tax code understandable for the layman.
In addition there support is first class, both on a technical tax level and in support of the product. I had a technical software problem today that was solved inside an hour. Excellent support.

Best software for accounts and tax returns
We have been using this software for 15 years and we love it. Simple. Our accountant manager (Jagdeep) does a great job of looking after us and we appreciate all the software does for us, we couldn't run our accountancy firm without it.

One year on…
Changed to Taxcalc for my small practice in March 2024. Haven't looked back. Transfer was straight forward and it's a great piece of software. Advisors are on hand for the few questions we've had. Price for renewal was also a pleasant surprise after years of over inflation increases with other suppliers on the market.

Taxcalc is the best tax and accounting software I have ever used. Very simple and straight forward processes. Ease of access is unparalled. The switch between products in the hub is fantastic. The FETCH application to retrieve client tax information is extremely useful. It's ability to check and identify potential errors is also a very useful tool. Pricewise it is simply the best out there.

Software is intuitive
Software is intuitive. My first year, am very pleased how it went.
Only issue I have is that it is very slow but that's maybe due to the 'cloud' as there are no internet speed issues here and a competitor/friend of mine also has the same problem.
