For years I have been struggling to work with the IRS to resolve my back taxes owed without success. I made several attempts to make payments but it seemed that I was going in circles as late fees and compounding interest fees were making it difficult to manage tax debt. The IRS was threatening to take possession of my property if payment was not satisfactory to them. I am retired and living on limited income so paying this tax debt was very difficult.
TaxRise resolved my problems with the IRS within a year; I have been placed on hardship and will no longer be receiving any collection notices from the IRS. TaxRise worked diligently with the IRS to have my tax issues resolved.

Do not use Taxrise for tax relief. The company requires you to take out a loan to pay, and then they leave you high and dry. No contact; they will not resolve your tax issue, but then you are stuck with the loan they require to help you, which they don't. BIG RED FLAG on this company.

Every time I have spoken with someone at TaxRise, I have not been disappointed in any way. Today was no exception- Steve was kind, so helpful and seemed genuinely invested on helping answer my concerns, giving me detailed direction on my next steps while reassuring me that everything is moving forward for a successful resolution. I hung up with a sigh of relief to have them on the team helping me with this stressful situation. I highly recommend them.

If there was an option of “0”, that’s what I would have chose. I owe $1800.00 to Taxrise for their “ assistance “. The only thing they did for me was complete a STATE amended return. I could have gotten that done locally for $50.00. Do NOT believe that they are going to work to get your Federal tax liability lowered. They don’t! I could have taken the $1800.00 and applied it to my tax debt, which would lessen my tax debt in half!!

Dishonest. The only thing they accomplished is seeing my the interest in my tax liability increase $20,000 while they didn’t do a single thing to advocate on my behalf. Then they sent me a congratulatory email when they negotiated without my approval. Would have been better working directly with the IRS. Yet they were happy to take the $8,300 for their “services.”
