As per our escrow terms, we processed the payout within the 24-48 hour of the document uploaded. The transaction was created on 31 July (Sunday) and it got processed 01 August(Monday).

Poor data protection and verification

Decided to use Tazapay bank transfer as the cheapest option my vendor was offering. The money was taken from my account immediately. I then received an email the next day, with many unknown people cc’d into it, from someone claiming to be from Tazapay requesting personal data. They had no contact details on their email, nor did they provide a customer service contact number. The public are already warned against providing personal info to unsolicited emails, but this is how Tazapay manage their transaction verification? They should verify before the money is taken. No other payment mediator I’ve used has ever done this before. Not even banks email about individual transactions. How do I know it’s not a bunch of scammers? They haven’t called me after several requests, but stated my payment would not be allowed if I didn’t comply within 24 hours. So Tazapay are threatening to keep £300+ for no apparent reason. I just want my money back. Best to avoid them. Extremely poor service.

Edit: Tazapay have been using WhatsApp to contact me since 5:53 AM. I requested a call and received a response stating they are unavailable! I have requested a refund several times already. Transaction ID 2207-770026. Their response is requesting I provide an email contact. Why would I add my personal email to a trust pilot review, especially when I’ve emailed them directly several times. Absolutely no consideration for customer data. PLEASE AVOID. I just want a refund.

This service is misleading

This service is misleading! Don't be fooled by the slick marketing and initial communication when you sign up! They WILL pay the supplier BEFORE the goods have arrived which defeats the object of being an escrow company!! they do not ask you to verify you have received the goods instead they as the supplier to verify!! How does that make sense?? My package never arrived but supplier got paid anyway I would NEVER use these people again! It's all smoke and mirrors and quite frankly a waste of time!

Tazapay is legit for making purchases…

Tazapay is legit for making purchases for items out of the country but remember once you send the money it’s gone you cannot reverse it and you cannot get a refund for any reason so make sure what you are buying you really want because once you hit send it’s gone!!!….Tazapay said no refund was made because purchase was shipped, before the item was shipped or even packed in less than 24 hours from payment I asked for refund and to cancel, I was denied refund…so I stand my ground as this is what you get. I will update upon receiving my medications
