Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product, finding that the robotic puppies were not as advertised and appeared to be cheap, battery-operated toys rather than the life-like, interactive companions shown. Customers frequently reported issues with the quality of the items received, noting they were flimsy and often arrived broken or in poor condition. The pricing was also a major point of contention, with many feeling they paid a significantly inflated price for products that could be found much cheaper elsewhere. Furthermore, numerous consumers experienced problems with their orders, including incorrect items, overcharges, and lengthy delivery times. The refund process was a significant source of frustration, as many struggled to obtain full refunds, with some only being offered partial amounts or encountering difficulties in getting their money back.

I tried to order robotic dogs (which I’ve since found on Amazon for less than half the price through telegelam).

Their site issued a message that my card could not be used because of server issues and that Ishould use PayPal, instead. Simultaneously, I received four fraud alerts from my bank card. They or someone who can access their system tried to charge twice the price of the transaction. I recommend avoiding this site.

Caveat emptor!!

The review is for costumer’s service

The review is for costumer’s service. Finally my order arrived, it is not what they offered me since they are two small dogs physically similar to those advertised, but they are battery-operate, nothing different from those sold on the streets for US$5,The highlight here is the customer service, it's one of the best, thank you very much.

Nico Robotic Puppy

I ordered the Nico robotic puppy and received it yesterday. What a scam, the puppy that came was a toy you can buy at the dollar store! It uses batteries not a USB port, the eyes, mouth and tail does not move! They charged $39 plus tax and shipping, so in total I paid $45. I sent them an email about everything but I have not gotten a respond yet! Be careful because I think they changed their company name and is selling the same puppy. They want to get some more suckers, yes I admit I got sucked into their scam! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEIR SCAMERS!

Serious LET DOWN - Nothing like advertised

I was so excited about this product until it arrived. It doesn't look anything like the advertisement and doesn't act real either. It is a regular battery operated moving animal like you can buy at the fair. Nothing special and not worth the $$. Serious let down and I wanted for my recently widowed family member.

I ordered the robot dog six weeks ago!…

I ordered the robot dog six weeks ago and they overcharged me so I checked them out online and saw a bunch of negative reviews.
I canceled the order and asked for a refund three weeks ago. I filed a claim with my bank who have temporarily reimbursed me, and they just emailed me saying if I cancel the dispute that they will refund me immediately, which of course I am not going to do.

Scam robot dog…

The robot puppy doesn’t look or act like anything being claimed. The ad insinuates that it’s smart. However it’s no better than a wind up toy. Very scammy

Don’t feel stupid

It took overlong to get my order fulfilled. I figured the delay likely occurred at Customs/JFK. When it finally arrived, it was a huge disappointment. The little “robot puppies” that are photographed and touted to be remarkably life-like and mobile turned out anything but either. I spent a stupid amount of money, and feel equally as stupid. I recommend that anyone looking at the items in Telegelam’s ads beware, save their money, and don’t end up feeling snookered.

Scam

Zero stars! False advertising. Was supposed to be AI generated, plush, looking real and interacts with you. They shoved this $5 battery operated toy in a bag. When I emailed to complain, they offered me $15 and the dog. I paid right at $50!!! Good thing I purchase through PayPal.
Then I got good and mad when I saw the same exact dog advertised on Temu for 5.13.

False advertising

I was ordering the cute little puppies from the advertisement but the website was difficult to end and submit the order. I was charged for the second set of dogs but customer service immediately was contacted and I was told they would refund my card and cancel the second set of dogs! I have not seen that refund yet and also had to contact customer service since it took so long to receive the dogs. They are not like what is advertised. They are battery operated and only bark and take a few little steps! I am really disappointed but I definitely want my refund as promised on August 17, 2025.

Total scam

First of all. I purchase two robotic puppies for $49.99 but my card was charged $59.98. Shipping was supposed to be free. Then, to add insult, the dogs I received were no where close to what is advertised. What I got are dogs that bark and take a few steps. Similar to those from 20 years ago. This is a total scam and I will be reporting it to my credit card. Shameful!!!

The merchandise that Telegelam sent me was nothing like the dogs they advertised. They advertised rechargeable dogs, but they are battery operated, They show them in a box, but they came in one bag, no boxes and no directions. They are cheap and not worth the price I paid for them. I will never buy from them again.

I’m extremely frustrated!!!

I’m extremely frustrated with this “BAIT” advertising. My grandson is Autistic and I thought how awesome this would be for him. Here is what transpired.. I placed an online order from Telegelam Nico-My. Fealistic Robot Pupply. The ad states buy 1 get 1 free.. which to my frustration I completed the online form and the receipt received via email states $49.99, but my bank account was charged $59.98. I contacted the company and asked why they fraudulently charged me $59.98 I was advised the following: Dear customer,

Thank you for reaching out.

We only received one order Telegelam-19385(USD 49.99) matched your details. Could you please send us some screenshots of the transactions with the details like status, date, amount, the merchant, transaction ID. We will look into it. The overcharge amount will be determined and refunded once it is calculated.

Thank you for your time and help.

Best regards,
Customer Support

SO…. I sent the screen shot of my account showing what was billed.
This is their reply: Dear customer,

Thank you for reaching out.

It may be charged 15%-40% of the order amount as Tax and Insurance fee by Payment Gateway. We're sorry for the trouble it may cause.

To express our apology, we'd like to refund the Tax and Insurance fee of USD9.99 as compensation.

If the order was paid via Paypal, the refund is typically received within 2-7 business days. If the order was paid with a Debit/Credit card, the processing time by both parties' banks may result in a refund timeframe of 3-20 business days.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,
Customer Support

SO…..my reply: Please cancel my order. It was just processed today. Plus you still charged me $59.98.
CANCEL AND REFUND IMMEDIATELY!!!! If not I’ll cancel the transaction from my bank since you fraudulently charged my card over the amount I approved of paying based on your website. Nothing absolutely nothing on your site states you will charge over the amount of the order…
The "Nicco" or "Nicoo" robot puppy, often
promoted on platforms like Telegram, is a scam. The product is a cheaply made toy, and advertising for it uses stolen or Al-generated footage to make it appear much more realistic
and advanced than it is. o Common red flags of the Nicco robot puppy
scam • Highly misleading advertisements: The ads, frequently found on social media and Telegram, use CGI or Al-generated video to portray a highly sophisticated, lifelike robotic dog. The technology shown in the videos is far beyond what is possible
for a small, inexpensive consumer toy. • Cheap, knockoff product delivered: Customers who place an order and receive a package find that the product is a cheap, battery-operated toy that can only bark and move forward and backward. The actual product does not resemble the one
advertised in the slightest. • Shady sales tactics: The scam often uses a poorly built website with fabricated details to sell the
product. Red flags include:
• Fake, five-star reviews • Countdown timers and "last day promotion"
messaging to create a false sense of urgency • Conflict between the product description and
claims made on the website
+
••• You are a FRAUDULENT COMPANY!! 😡😡😡
Refund my money or I’ll report this transaction!!
Why?? Really your company is a FRAUD!!! This was a gift for my disabled grandson. Shame on you! Shame!!! Have a conscience and refund my money so I can buy him another gift!!
SOOO… this is their reply: Dear Customer,

Thank you for reaching out.

We are willing to give you a full refund as compensation immediately. But if there is any dispute the fund will be frozen for a long time. Could you check your account to make sure there is no claim and then we proceed with the refund as soon as possible?

Best regards,
Customer Support

After all this I received an email stating : Dear customer,

Thank you for reaching out.

We have cancelled the order and refunded it according to your request, and we will not ship it.

Your refund application has been approved and our finance department is processing it, please be patient for a few more days and we will refund you.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

Best Regards,
Customer Support

This is a SCAM!!!

The puppies came in a bag with no instructions. They are powered by batteries only. There is no way to charge them by USB. Their fur looks anything BUT real. These are simple toys a two year old might find somewhat appealing. There is no AI involved. They do NOT respond to commands and the batteries make them move in a straight line in short choppy movements with a repeated mechanical bark. They do NOT have natural dog-like movements. Nothing about these dogs is indicative of the ad. This is a SCAM!!!
