I was hoping for a dependable service…
I was hoping for a dependable service when I joined up for Textedly, but I've been completely disappointed. The program has several flaws, messages don't always go through, and it is devoid of functionality that other platforms provide. Reaching customer support is almost hard, and when you do, the assistance you receive is insufficient and annoying. I went back to study the reviews more closely after having this experience firsthand, and it's obvious that a large number of the 5-star ratings are probably fraudulent. None of them provide information regarding the platform's operation, and they are all curiously generic and full of evasive compliments. Since the real service doesn't even come close to matching those overwhelmingly great evaluations, it feels dishonest and deceptive. Don't let their rating deceive you.
Very Disappointing Experience
I had high hopes for Textedly, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating. The platform is difficult to navigate, and customer support is virtually non-existent. It took way too long to get any response, and when I did, the answers were not helpful.The pricing is also misleading. You end up paying more than you initially expect, with hidden fees and charges that aren’t clearly explained upfront. Plus, the messaging delivery is inconsistent – some texts go through fine, but others get delayed or fail to send altogether. I can’t rely on this service for my business communication.Overall, I would not recommend Textedly. It’s a waste of time and money, and there are far better options out there.
New to using it
We've only used it a couple of months. So far we've been happy with the service. Cheaper and much easier to use for those of us not tech savvy with some tech. Easy to set up. We're a non profit and need to save $$ so our overhead is as low as possible. Only thing I would ask is a way to alphabetical contacts and make groups. This doesn't come with our basic plan but would be helpful. I'd hope some options would be extended to small (very small and local) non profits. Were a 60+ women non profit that fundraiser on our own to award scholarships to high school seniors. We are mostly self supporting. Not one of the big non profits. We need all the help we can get.

We use Textedly to notify our condo association about emergency or essential information. It is easy to use and had allowed us to keep our community informed.

poor experience
I have used textedly for some time off and on and have always been impressed with the service. But this last time I used them, it has not been pleasant. They used to have roll over for texts that were not used but they took that away. But this time was the worst. October 24 I was getting charged for the service. I texted them to cancel my service and get a refund. If i am not using the service and want to cancel i should get a refund. i am always busy so i dont exactly have time to wait for them to respond back all the time, but when i say i want to cancel, they cant do it. WHY NOT. if i gave you permission in a text then CANCEL IT. well they had to tell me where to go, instead of making it easy under account settings for making you account, it should be on that page but for some reason its in billing under invoice, and if you dont have the patients because after a few days of trying to talk to them and i cant get back to them when i want, they are now saying i cant get a refund......after 5 days and i have not used any texts at all and left the site sit there. im sorry but that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth if a company wants to RIPP YOU OFF when your not using there site.

They will not refund even though you…
They will not refund even though you don't use their service and keep charging you every month, Not easy to cancel subscription and have to wait several days to get confirmation. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I joined Textedly because of its…
I joined Textedly because of its positive evaluations, however I had a really bad experience. There are several bugs in the software, and the customer service is nonsensical. I went back and read the ones that were good, and I saw that a lot of them seemed phoney or extremely generic. A service that has to use exaggerated compliments to seem nice is difficult to trust. I wish I had done more research in advance. Undoubtedly not worth the fanfare.
User Friendly and Great Service
User dashboard is very simple and easy to use. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. Contact Import process is straightforward. Responding to texts is easy. The whole experience is painless!
