This was truly the experience of a lifetime, made unforgettable by the incredible team.

Reaching Everest Base Camp on my birthday is something I will treasure forever, and it was the little, thoughtful touches that made it so special. I was welcomed with traditional flowers, given good-luck sashes, surprised with a birthday cake, and made to feel genuinely celebrated. Those moments meant more than words can say.

Our guide Raj was outstanding: calm, knowledgeable, endlessly supportive, and deeply caring. Our Sherpas, Gorba and Prabin, were simply phenomenal. They looked after us every step of the way, always with kindness, patience, and good humour. By the end of the trek, they truly felt like family.

This was the hardest physical and mental challenge I have ever undertaken. I am afraid of heights, and at no point did I feel judged, rushed, or made to feel foolish. Even though I was the slowest in the group, I was never made to feel like a burden. Instead, I felt supported, encouraged, and safe at all times. They got me to Base Camp and back in one piece, and that alone speaks volumes.

The final meal together was incredibly special and emotional, a perfect way to end such a profound journey. Despite the challenge, there was also so much laughter and joy along the way.

I cannot recommend highly enough. If you want a team that truly takes care of you, honours your limits, and helps you achieve something you once thought impossible, this is it.

I booked an international trip with The Adventure People expecting the reassurance of a package holiday. When baggage transfer issues occurred on a multi-airline itinerary, I received little support and was told it was not their responsibility.

I escalated the issue to the European Consumer Centre, but the case was closed because the company would not engage in a resolution process. I was left to deal with multiple airlines on my own.

Problems can happen when travelling, but support when they do is crucial. Based on my experience, I would advise others to consider this before booking.

I booked an Intrepid trip to Costa Rica with The Adventure People for myself and two friends. From start to finish I received excellent service. If I sent an email with any requests or questions staff at The Adventure People always got back to me promptly. Any advice I asked for was always given appropriately and correctly. The holiday was amazing and well organised.

This was one of the best experiences of my life, swimming and snorkelling with tropical fish and turtles! The group were such lovely people, friends for life.

I don’t often write reviews, but it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t share my appreciation for such good service.

I had been thinking about visiting Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake for a long time. I finally booked my trip with The Adventure People, and it was my first time using this company.

The service was excellent from beginning to end. Everything was very well organised, and the team was friendly throughout. I was a bit anxious at first, as I had never been to this part of the world, and visiting Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake was a big deal for me.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in organising our trip. I will definitely use this company again and will happily recommend it to others.

Our guide was Sudip, who took us on the EBC and Gokyo lakes trek. He was so kind and very knowledgeable. He knew so much about the different mountains and animals. He was kind and talkative, and overall super helpful. He made the trip so fun and enjoyable for both of us and we had a great time thanks to him.

The actual tour was with Arctic Adventures to whom I award 5 stars. The trip was brilliant with lots of interesting sites to visit and experience. The tour guide provided lots of information about the sites visited and about Iceland. I highly recommend this tour.
However, I feel that the extra cost for paying through Adventure People was a bit much given that this tour could have been booked directly with Arctic Adventures, but there is no mention of this tour company in the Adventure People information.

Did the ebc in november, the tour was fantastic with beautiful weather. Our guides Ram, Lal and Dikesh where super friendly and had great experience and knowledge. Would reccomend the tour to everybody. Thank you for the great experience.

This is an absolutely incredible holiday.

Amazing and very unique experience doing the Inca Trail! The communication with The Adventure People was very smooth and the pre-departure instructions were very clear. The Inca Trail in itself was beautiful. The views were wonderful, I did this solo but was part of a great group. Also, the porters and chefs organized the camping site and food very well every time. Lastly, the guides were very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we passed. All in all, I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend!

The Adventure People delivered exactly what they said they would. I was looked after from the moment I was picked up at the airport to being dropped off at the end of my trip. The Icicles team on the ground in Nepal were knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly. An excellent trip and i would highly recommend.

I had a great time on the Everest Base Camp Trek, booked through the Adventure People and run by Icicles Adventures Treks and Tours, a local Nepalese company. Prior to arriving, the communication and information from the Adventure People was very helpful and informative. Then from arriving to Kathmandu to the trek, everything was exceptionally well organised by Icicles, leaving us to just enjoy the trip. Our guides from Icicles, Tika and Prabin, were excellent - very knowledgeable about the area and safety conscious. Our porters were also great; we really appreciated their service and hard work. The trek, while challenging, was well designed to allow time to acclimatise and explore the areas we were staying in. One of our group had to descend due to altitude sickness which was handled safely and efficiently by our guides. I would 100% book with Icicles and the Adventure People again.

Excellent tour booked through The Adventure People with easy booking procedures and very helpful staff !! I had to postpone my trip for 12 months but this was no problem or drama for TAP, they quickly sorted it out without any fuss!! Very helpful throughout and I highly recommend 😁

Rosanagh was great in supporting me when booking this trip including booking some extra nights pre and post trip start, I can't say thank you enough! The trip was amazing and the tour guide made it really special with plenty of explanations and promoting team building in the group. Hiking the Inca Trail has been one of the best life experiences I had, I reccomend this trip and certainly the adventure people are great support if you are looking for your next adventure!

I booked two Himalayan treks (Annapurna Circuit and Everest Base Camp) through The Adventure People and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I spoke to Louise from The Adventure People throughout the booking process and she was so lovely and answered my many questions. The lead guides (Shyam and Prakash) and assistant guides (Jagat, Dikesh, Dewalkar) and porters on both treks were incredible. They were so welcoming, supportive, and caring. We all loved them and tears were shed when it was time to say goodbye. Thanks for the adventure of a lifetime and I can't wait to use The Adventure People for more trips in the future.

My trek to Everest Base Camp was one of the most remarkable experiences of my life. Prakesh and his team where there for me every single step of the way. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend them for future treks. Thank you once again.
