Everest Base Camp journey.
My trek to Everest Base Camp was one of the most remarkable experiences of my life. Prakesh and his team where there for me every single step of the way. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend them for future treks. Thank you once again.
Everest Base camp trek trip
I booked the EBC trek through adventure people and the booking was very easy, i had some question before i booked and they were happy to answer them and if I needed to book extra accommodation they would sort it all out or you, definitely looking at booking more trips through my adventure people.
Guided trek to Everest Base Camp
We arrived in Kathmandu on 2/11 to be greeted by our trek leader Prakash Khartiwada. Super helpful, efficient and welcoming. There were difficulties on day 2, caused by poor weather.. no problem for Prakash , who immediately organized a long and hard transfer to a different airfield. Day 3 and we were off towards Everest. Made easier with the addition of our incredible porter’s and three lead guides. What an adventure, completely amazed by the past two weeks. The Adventure People/ Icicles were an invaluable partner on this, the hardest of treks. 100% recommended to all who undertake such an endeavor.

Amazing 12 days with the Prakesh and the team …1000% they made sure we were safe …prepared …and ready for EBC they made us all feel like a big family …it’s a tough journey but these guys will get you through it
Great experience
Great experience, great people, great food, and amazing guides! Would definitely recommend if you value adventure and don't mind a little discomfort! Prakash and his assistant guides were friendly and encouraging which I think boosted everyone's morale on the trip. I would more than happy have his team on more expeditions! Thank you guys for a amazing experience! Isaac
Amazing trip to Gokyo!
What an amazing trip, so well organised. We were beset but some unseasonal weather, very wet initially and then lots of snow! Our guide, Pooja, was great and looked after us so well - calming, motivating, reassuring and generally lovely!

To start I rarely leave reviews but really don’t want others to have the experience and stress that I have had with dealing with this company.
I booked a 12 day Vietnam tour with the dates they had advertised and paid for the tour immediately in full… They had advertised on there website that there was only 2 spaces out of 18 left for the group tour so felt like I had to move quickly to secure the date they advertised.
After payment in full was made an email was sent to me stating to wait for confirmation that the tour is even going ahead and would I like any later dates? I explained no the dates you have advertised fit in with my itinerary and am confused now that your even advertising a tour that’s not 100% going ahead that I’ve paid in full for.
After me chasing with emails and there online chat ( Phones won’t accept calls from customers already booked )get told 24 hours before the tour is even ment to start the tour is not going ahead at all.
Can’t believe how unprofessional the service was and now have to wait for my refund to be processed before I can book elsewhere. AVOID
Outstanding trip
Had an incredible holiday, we were very fortunate with good weather throughout. The trip was very well organised, the guide was knowledgeable and helpful and adapted things to improve our experience including adding some extra activities which were very enjoyable. He ensured we were safe at all times and well looked after. The trip packed a lot in but we saw so many highlights including the big five in Kruger, dolphins, two fascinating township tours and a spectacular sunset on Table mountain. The pace was balanced with enough rest periods.
High quality expeditions
Information provided by TAP generally very good- from descriptions of the wide range of options when choosing which package is suitable to the joining instructions after booking... AND, if anything is unclear or you want more detail, TAP staff are very quick to respond to questions.
The trekking companies and guides (on several trips) have always been of the highest quality and competent.
Everest Base Camp
Everything about the trip from start to finish was incredible. The guides and staff work very hard to make the trip the best. I will be booking again with adventure people. Value for money was great. The trip was great. The trip exceeded all expectations.

Booked EBC trip and was not disappointed with the organisation or all staff involved. Great to be able to pick up the phone and speak to someone with any questions. Big shout out to our lead guide Tika, Second guide Prabin, Amazing porters Himsange, Tekman & Ambir for all your hard work and professionalism getting our amazing group to EBC and back safely. Would 100% recommend The Adventure People for this trip. Really great people and value for money.

Just returned from a trek to EBC with The Adventure People. Tika, Prabin, Himsange, Telcman and Ambir were superb and got me there and back with no drama. If this is on your bucket list, I would highly recommend The Adventure People, along with Iccicles Adventure Treks and Tours.
Everest Base Camp- incredible!!
I did the Everest Base Camp trek at the start of October and it was absolutely incredible! Trip of a lifetime! The start of our trek was delayed 3 days due to bad weather and our Guide Raj Kumar Rai did everything he could to look after us and deal with the situation until we were able to travel to Ramechhape and Lukla. He planned out a new itinerary to make sure we could trek there and back within 9 days and his knowledge and experience of the mountains really showed! Raj, our assistant Guide Sudip Rai and porter Naba Raj Rai who were with us throughout the trek were absolutely amazing! They brought so much fun, humour, knowledge and energy to the trek and really took a genuine care to look after us and make sure we were all okay, it really was so special and I’m forever grateful for having them for the experience, it wouldn’t have been the same without them! Our porters Naba Raj Rai, Dinesh Rai, Bimal Rai, Nabin Rai and Phodindra Rai.. it’s fair to say we couldn’t have done it without them and they were always smiling! All the teahouses were great and where possible we had un-suite bathrooms, it’s a shame the porters don’t stay in the same ones and have to self fund their accommodation. Also, because we were delayed there wasn’t always room for the guides and they slept in their dining rooms, I felt awful for them - the least they deserve is a decent bed to rest up in, hopefully that was a rare situation! It’s the first trip I’ve done with the adventure people but I would defo recommend and look to do future trips with them - great service and employees!
Amazing trek to Everest Base Camp
It's been a month since we got back from our trek to Everest Base Camp with The Adventure People, and it was an experience of a lifetime!
The adventure people and Icicles adventure, the local tour company were brilliant from start to finish.
The Adventure People were quick to respond to any queries before the trip and very helpful on our return.
We found Icicles to be professional, efficient, friendly and always willing to help. Everything was wonderfully organised from the minute we landed in Kathmandu to the minute we left, we could not expect anything more.
The trek was breathtaking, but what made it so special was the people. Puja, our guide, was always on hand, friendly, calm, positive and reassuring all the way. Puja and her team were caring, organised and their energy was second to none. Their guidance made a challenging adventure feel safe, well-managed and deeply rewarding.
We’re so grateful for this incredible experience and highly recommend them to anyone thinking about taking on the Everest Base Camp trek or any other adventure.

I’ve booked many trips via the adventure people. Trustworthy, good prices and gives me a bit more piece of mind.
Overall an incredible experience
Overall an incredible experience, tour guides Grober, Warner and William very knowledgeable and approachable. Fantastic views and camps with great respect for the porters, cooks, waiters and guides throughout. However nearer the end of this experience awkward conversations regarding tipping whereby what the guides proposed was vastly different to what we had budgeted for (considering we had utilised the adventure people brochure to aid our tipping budget it was a shock how much more the guides proposed)
Everest Base Camp
I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Raj, our guide, was amazing – not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional but also felt like a great friend throughout the journey. His support and sense of humour made the trek even more enjoyable.
The porters were so humble and a true pleasure to be around. Their hard work and kindness really made a difference every single day.
Booking with Adventure People has been fantastic. They’ve looked after us so well from start to finish, and I’ve genuinely felt valued as a customer. I couldn’t recommend them enough for anyone thinking about taking on this adventure – you’ll be in great hands!
Thanks
Joshua
The trip to Everest Bse camp was challenging but hugely rewarding.
The trip to Everest Bse camp was excellent and we cannot praise your local firm Icicles Adventures highly enough! This was our 4th and last trek to EBC and we found Icicles to be professional. efficient, friendly and always willing to help. Whilst we won't be doing EBC again, we will be returning to Nepal at a future date and will certainly be using Icicles. We narrowly missed the bad weather which grounded all flights to lukla and were happy to enjoy a few days in Kathmandu while we read the horror stories of no accommodation available in Lukla or Namche and of people being stranded in tea houses or tents; it is always recommended to have a cushion of a few days at the end of the trip in case weather affects the scheduled flights! In all though, a superb trip.

I don't think this tour was value for money, I don't think it matched the advertising (I actually can't believe they sell the tour at this time of year), I think the movement through the locations/ events are in the wrong order. I think the accommodation and in particular food was poor for the money spent on the tour. The breakfast food was not adequate which was incredibly problematic for a tour that was intensely physical. A number of critical things were not included in the tour and therefor were additional costs when there was no alternative to completing the included activity without those inclusions. The local guide was very good and the people on the tour made it a great experience but I think there are some problems with the tour value, structure and facilities.
