Censorship at its finest
An app that censors a simple photo of a glass of wine while claiming to promote “genuine” and “honest” reviews is difficult to take seriously. Its moderation feels inconsistent and often arbitrary, which undermines the credibility of the platform. If users can’t even post harmless photos that accurately reflect their dining experience, it’s hard to trust the app’s approach to authentic feedback.
The overall user experience is frustrating, and the review system seems more focused on unnecessary restrictions than on helping diners make informed decisions. There are far better alternatives available.
I would not recommend this app to anyone. The only reason I ever use it is when a restaurant I want to visit offers reservations exclusively through The Fork and there is no other option.

Booked us in at a restaurant only to cancel 45 minutes before our table time.
Upon ringing the restaurant to find out why we were informed they don't even take bookings!

Robbed
I booked a meal cancelled it to change the time and was advised to use the code from the first booking which I did.
I was not awarded the 800 bonus points as advised l. I contacted The Fork through the chat and it was like speaking to some through AI/ Karolin the same answers. Karolin literally accused me of lying, which I don’t do.
I asked for customer complaints and was asked what did I want to complain about.
This has to be done kind of a joke. This is the seconded time I have been robbed of points the first was points that should have bern awarded when I downloaded the App
Never again I have deleted the App and will be advising others.
It’s not the extra points it’s the principle.

I prefer to pre book restaurants and whilst we were in Madeira I found the Fork the easiest way to do this as there were no problems with the not knowing the language. It was easy to see the availability and whether there were any discounts. The restaurants always had our booking and I was pleased I had booked as often people were turned away, I often booked on the day of the meal or next meal. I wish the fork was more available in my home area.

I’m not confident with the fork
I don’t like this new app that restaurants seem to be using I don’t find that I can easily manage bookings as there seems to be only an ability to cancel but not manage and change a booking. For some reason, today, I made a reservation at a restaurant and a friend (with whom I previously made a booking ) who is not on this reservation received the confirmation. I’ve no idea how that’s happened, but I don’t get the feeling of confidence booking with them.
