Makes booking restaurants in advance so easy and stress free. Knowing your going on holiday with the knowledge that your tables are booked is great.

I visited Italy a few years ago and must have downloaded the app, I deleted my account when I left but I still get emails from them. I can’t speak to anyone about it unless I create a new account and there’s no way to unsubscribe from the emails within the email.

Not a trustworthy company as they have intentionally made it difficult to delete my personal information.

We found The Fork whilst searching in advance for somewhere to eat in Madrid (we live in the UK).
The app has a good map and we could see restaurants in the area we were looking for.
Whilst in Madrid we booked 3 restaurants (2 of the restaurants were at very short notice! ) and we got a discount ranging from 30 - 50% on each occasion.... With no quibble.
Excellent app, so happy we found it and we will recommend it to everyone.

The initial booking was great, the discount was good and I received my Yum welcome points of £20, this is where it goes south. I tried using them and it would appear (in my opinion) that the restaurants take the hit as I kept getting my table cancelled, while they were open, as I was using the points.
The points then expired. you get ONLY two months to use them.. I asked customer service and they said they would not reinstate them as its policy.... but I couldnt get to use them as their restaurants cancelled my tables when using them.
I don't eat out much, especially in two months.. and I wont be forced to go dine out.
This welcome bonus seems pointless if you can't use them.

The information provided before hand by The Fork. The curated list of restaurants with cuisine type and reviews left by users. The fact that the application is well done and responsive. Finally there's always a promo to gain Yuma and special deals.

Avoid TheFork! Total nightmare for restaurant owners. They issued incorrect invoices in July 2025, refused to fix them, and now their system keeps generating fake bills every month even though we cancelled the contract months ago. Their sales team ignores termination requests and keeps trying to 'sell' more instead of fixing billing fraud. I will reported them to Trading Standards！

Allows a lot going on, great activity of showing great restaurants in all areas for the next three months, giving great variety and seemingly honest all round reviews. Comprehensive reviews and maps.
Easy to navigate around the website and make bookings followed by great communication.

Very disappointing platform. Russian food and Russian restaurants are not properly recognized and are instead categorized as “Eastern European.” Or Ukranian.
Russian cuisine has a distinct culinary identity, and reducing it to a generic label feels inaccurate and disrespectful.

I joined The Fork a couple of years ago and made a number of bookings. I had to cancel one restaurant but did cancel the reservation rather than not just turn up. I made enough reservations to earn myself enough loyalty points for a £50 discount. In February, ahead of a holiday I duly made a booking at a restaurant. The next day, I was advised the booking was cancelled and my account suspended. I have been given no reason other than 'fraudulent activity', which is an utter lie and slander. I have repeatedly been promised an email to explain why I have been suspended and have received nothing. Given that this happened just as I was about to use my points for a discount, I can only conclude that The Fork are liars, charlatans and scammer - AVOID.

As an update (16th March) after writing to the CEO I have received an apology from The Fork and my account has been reinstated, though annoyingly too late for my holiday, which ended last week. This is good, but what a shame I had to go all the way to the CEO to get someone to listen.

Really great way to find restarants with good ratings from customers and super offers sometimes too

Using the Fork app is really easy and I can't believe some of the great food we have had through their offers and rewards scheme. Would definitely recommend.

Booked through thefork because I had a voucher and when I went to pay the restaurant, the voucher was not working and I had to pay for the full amount. The restaurant also didn’t know how to use thefork, so not only thefork is not reimbursing me, they also are not able to solve the problem. As a first experience, this was very bad and I won’t be using thefork again, unless they improve the service.

With this App in many country I can save money, be sure of any booking and safe payment. What else?

I had a really bad experience. I made a booking with a restaurant using TheFork. TheFork confirmed the booking , and sent a reminder of the confirmed booking 24-48hours before it was due. When we arrived at the restaurant (Saturday evening in Soho, London), they did not have the booking. Unbeknown to me, TheFork had sent an email FIVE MINUTES before the booking saying the booking had been cancelled by the restaurant.
We got a really bad experience turning up at the restaurant thinking we had a booking, when we didn't, and it is unacceptable to expect that you are going to see an email 5 minutes before the booking is due- with that time you don't have any time to re-arrange your plans. This was Soho on a Saturday evening.
If the restaurant does not want to abide to the rule of TheFork, the solution is easy: don't advertise your promotions in this website. If TheFork thinks it is acceptable to cancel a booking 5 minutes before it was due, then it is also easy: don't use TheFork. Most of the places they advertise are run down, or tourist traps.
I, for sure, will do further research with other similar services in the future, and have stopped using a resource that cancels a booking 5 minutes before it was due.
