The fork is excellent for finding discount restaurants with good food

Great site both at home and abroad for ideas on places to eat, often with the advantage of checking out other customers reviews and, getting decent offers/discounts. A good travelling companion!

I had made use of the fork to book several restaurants over the past year, mostly on trips abroad. I had plans to do the same this year for a trip to Italy - however this company had other ideas. I placed bookings for 3 restaurants, including one where I made use of 'yums' loyalty points saved from previous bookings. Around a day after placing the reservations to my dismay I found my account suspended and all reservations cancelled. Hoping this would be easily resolved I contacted their customer service, however the support they offered was avoidant and unhelpful. While the first agent was polite, their escalation to 'quality team' had no response. After more delays the second agent was far less polite and offered promises of a response which never came. They still have not resolved my account, nor returned my yums or offered compensation. The "quality" team has not responded to my enquiry despite writing for a reminder (this incident began on the 23rd). When I told the second agent I felt I was being treated unfairly they responded with copies of terms and conditions. Why this company feels the need to refuse my custom and take my rightfully earned credit is beyond my understanding. I have only ever used the app as intended and honoured my reservations. Avoid this app, and use all alternatives for bookings at restaurants when possible.

Signed up via referral link, made first booking, then told referral rewards can’t be credited because the code wasn’t manually entered, despite joining via the link. Disappointing UX and zero flexibility from support.

Very easy to use, very reliable and the reviews are really helpfull

I love the ease of making reservations. My only complaint is that only 4 restaurants take Yums as payment. So you can earn them but can’t spend them.

The Fork was very handy helping us choose good places to eat in Malaga. Although you can do this on other sites, the fork also makes it easy to book and offers generous discounts. The first place we went to was extremely good and we were grateful for 30% off the bill

Fantastic Fork....lets you book easily online, has lots of great deals and can also be used in Europe when on holiday. We like that you can see photos inside the venue and reviews.
Yums are fantastic too earning you money off other yums restaurants.
We have been members for many years, the only issue is that when the deals like the fork festival are on in Edinburgh our home city it is v poorly represented with vitually no deals, and not many restaurants accepting yums here.There is lots of praise still for The Fork.

You can order for takeaway. Prices reasonable.
Was there last night for Chinese New Year, offered little gift. Nice touch.

The discount

They literally let restaurants cheat with false discounts over false advertised prices. I literally contacted thefork multiple times over several restaurants that either had a special "the fork" menu with higher prices, or just advertised prices much much lower across the entire menu than the actual prices once in the restaurant. In one of these cases, I documented everything, all the proof and more, going back more than an year. Dozens of reports on multiple sites, including the fork. They said they took this kind of cheating very seriously, and blablabla then proceed to do absolutely nothing. The restaurant still advertises false lower prices in thefork (roughly 30% lower than real) and 50% discount every day, all the time, even though I sent all the evidence roughly 4 months ago. The fork gets their fees regardless so they could not care less. Be weary of high discounts, they are fake about half the time (unless you consider normal a regular meal costing twice as much in a totally regular restaurant).
