I was recently a first time purchaser being from Australia. I got a few items but my favourite by far are the midnight to daylight platform boots! They are soooo comfy (I just wore them every day on a 10 day holiday), so beautiful, such fantastic quality, I get compliments everywhere I go, they magically match every outfit and even though I'm 179cms, they don't make me feel too tall. Everything else I orderered was stunning. The bodysuit was a little short but can easily be made into a top to suit my long torso

I love all my clothes from The Hippie Shake. The quality is superb and the clothes are just stunning. I always get so many compliments when I wear my Shake N' Boogie Orange dress.

I own the Marianne suit in brown as well as the denim version of the Ramble On jumpsuit. Both pieces fit me perfectly in a size 16 as an EU 44/46. The design of the items shows the love and passion its creators have for the 1970's.

i’ve bought many things from the hippie shake, and have never been dissatisfied. They never disappoint with their quality and attention to detail, and will always be my go to brand for the 60’s/70’s aesthetic!

Such great garments! I got the patchwork jacket, and it’s so well made, and the lining is beautiful. I was sent the wrong size by accident (it was incorrectly labelled, so human error!) and I was quickly sent an exchange in the correct size. I was also told that the team measured it before sending it out, just to make doubly sure, which I really appreciated!

This brand is the absolute best! Every piece is well made and perfectly aligns with the 60s and 70s - decades where fashion continues to be timeless and unique as can be!

The Hippie Shake is my absolute favorite clothing brand! If I could afford it, I would own almost every single item they have. I have about 10 pieces from them and they have all exceeded my expectations. The designs are amazing and actually look vintage and retro without being tacky, the quality is impeccable, and it feels great knowing that they are made ethically and sustainably. 100/10

I love vintage style clothes, specifically 60s/70s, however, authentic vintage clothing can be hard to find and often very expensive, and usually not in amazing condition, but The Hippie Shake is the next best thing, if not just as great. I had been eyeing their stuff for a while and when I finally decided to get some of their stuff, I could not possibly have regretted it. Everything I got came in good time and was just as amazing as I had hoped it would be. Now, after wearing the items a few times, I have not once been disappointed. They are true to size and beautiful of course, and the fabrics feel quality, and you can tell that they make sure every item is perfect before sending it out. I have been wearing these clothes regularly since I got them, and I am never not excited to wear them again.

I’ve loved nearly everything I’ve purchased from the store. Seeing as they are one of the very first vintage inspired stores I’ve found they will always have a special place in my heart. While it isn’t the same quality as my actual vintage items, the quality most certainly surpasses plenty of other vintage reproductions, I’m definitely not afraid to wear their clothes in fear of ruining them. I’m regular and own quite a few pieces from them a love nearly every one. I definitely get lots of compliments, especially people who lived in said era. The penny lane coat the did for the Hendrix inspired collection seems to be everyone’s favorite (mine too🥰) when I wear it out. I loved the Rainbow Ladyland collection so much I’m to this day hunting down pieces I couldn’t get my hands on. They have excellent customer service from my experience. It takes a couple days for them to get back to you (I’m aware they have a small team) but it’s an actual person you are emailing! I’ve been sent the wrong thing on accident only a couple times, and they sent me the right one or at least sent me something equal in value if said item was out of stock. I’m very happy they have a U.S warehouse now so customs and wait times are as much of a problem. Reading other reviews on here I see that I’m not the only one with this issue. I love their mission with sustainability, however I wish they would run campaigns a bit longer. I’m not the only one that was saving up for an item in my size and now it’s gone for good. I know more than just me would be okay with having to wait that much longer to get the piece they’ve been waiting for. I also wish they would get some more pieces that are inspired by the more experimental part of the sixties, I’d really like to see them do something like Rainbow Ladyland again. I’ll excitedly continue to see what they have planned for the future.

I'm always looking for that 60s/70s aesthetic, and Hippie Shake knocks it out of the park! Quality items, and they're absolutely beautiful! The embroidery, the fabrics, everything! Just fabulous. Can't wait to add more to my collection

On 2 September I sent a Next Day Delivery parcel to this boutique. On their website they assure that returns are easy. Unfortunately, I have been waiting for a refund since 2 September, which is 19 days.... Who, in the age of online sales, will like such a shop?

I purchased two times from Hippie Shake, once in 2021 and once now in Sept. 2023. Items quality is overall good, sizes are a little bit always on the bigger side. The fact that custom fees are not included, make it overall very expensive to purchase from Germany - on a order of ca. 230 pounds, I had to pay 85 euro in taxes. So if you purchase from EU, keep that in mind.
As for the logistics, after 3 years it still feels very start-uppish.
In my last order, they did not include one of the item (a dress) that I paid for and they would have probably not refund me for the missing item if I hadn't wrote them. It was a real bummer because I purchased the as it would be match with the accessories I bought, but now I only have the accessories but not the dress. It took about a week after I wrote them for the refund to happen - so the assistance in the end was quite good.

I wanted to love this shop, but after ordering for the second time I have again been disappointed by the poor quality of the items. Fabric quality and fit are very poor, so I will be returning again.

What makes things worse is that they only do exchanges/store credit for sale items, so I've wasted money as I won't be ordering again. A proper refund would be appreciated.

I'm giving two stars because items were at least dispatched quickly, customer service were helpful when I had a query, and they send me a discount voucher on my Birthday.

It's a great concept and I would probably spend all my money here, if only the quality was better!
