I have had the same experience as the other reviewers. I ordered a jumper for my husband as a Christmas present. It did not arrive until 2 weeks after & was nothing like the picture on the website. The quality was very poor. I then spent a couple of weeks in email exchanges being offered a discounted refund but to keep the item. Eventually sent the item to an address in the Netherlands, only for it to be returned today, a month later, saying it had been refused, whatever that means! Totally out of pocket & frustrated.

Very poor quality clothing, no information provided about returns, no reply to emails, the list goes on. Just have to accept I've been scammed and that the experience gained is £40 well spent. Welcome to the modern world.

Do not buy from this company. Absolute rubbish products. Not as the photos show. Wanted to return a cheap looking jumper costing £39.99. To be given different solutions of keep the product and we'll give you 20% back on the purchase price. I have to returned it, postal address is the Netherlands!!!. Still pending in the sorting office. Stay away do not buy from them.

I genuinely feel like I've been scammed.
I tried to return an item, due to its very poor quality. They tried everything possible to avoid me returning the item, offering increasingly bigger discounts if I kept it. In the end, after I'd refused all these offers, they eventually gave me an address in The Netherlands, I posted the item at my own cost, only for it to be returned two weeks later with a 'POSTNL' label saying it had been refused by the receiver.
I emailed several times and they've never responded.
I can't think of a worst online purchasing experience, I'd suggest avoiding at all costs.

I would leave zero if I could please don’t order anything from this scam website firstly items come from China U.K. is rubbish they will take 3 weeks if you’re lucky the item is not what you order I ordered a coat for a elderly gentleman that says detachable hood rubbish it is the most basic coat in the world he doesn’t even wear it wears a cardigan instead customer service are non existent and if they answer it’s a waste of time this website should be closed down I wish I had looked at reviews before ordering I will purchase him a coat else where they should be ashamed off themselves please don’t waste you’re money or you’re time

The item I ordered is too small and I simply want to return for a larger size. I have emailed twice for a returns form without reply and am worried I am now going to be able to return the item within the allotted 30 days. If no one gets in touch I will be forced to go to my bank to pursue a refund.

Absolutely disgraceful. The product was meant to be a 5x xl and it was so small and cheap looking. Almost like they are sending out Temu products and charging double the price. Cost me 15 pound to send the item back and now they are ignoring me completely so I’ve wasted even more money now.

This is a follow on to my earlier review from January about a coat I ordered in December which was a complete joke, and when I reached out to them, someone named AJ went through the whole process of offering me 20%, 30% 40% which I refused and I insisted on returning their rubbish of an item for a full refund. However, that has backfired badly as the return address in the Netherlands they gave me doesn’t exist and I’ve thrown more money after bad by trying to return the rubbish I received, thereby getting out of pocket more. After 2 weeks, FedEx have had to return the package to me for a fee!. IF YOU’VE FALLEN INTO THEIR TRAP ONCE, JUST TAKE A PARTIAL REFUND UNTIL THEIR WEBSITE IS TAKEN DOWN SO THEY CAN STOP SCAMMING UK CUSTOMERS!

I ordered a wool blend coat which was late being delivered, albeit they said as much when initially contacted. When delivered, it was just bundled up in a ball and badly creased. Moreover it was a number of sizes too small, not to mention cheap and shoddy!
I have tried contacting them (numerous times) to return the goods for refund or even exchange but to no avail, no reply. Although too late, I have now read earlier reviews and these reflect my experience. They are just charlatans masquerading as a customer focused entity.
My advise, avoid and save your money

I placed an order from a scam website called ‘Means Room UK which cost about £60.’ When I received the item, I noticed it was poorly fitted, badly made, and had no label on it. I went back to the website and realized there was no returns page. I decided to email them, and after a week, they finally replied. They made numerous discount offers, which I refused. Eventually, they provided me with a return address in the Netherlands, which cost £18 to send. Two weeks later, the item was sent back to me. Since I sent them the tracking number, they have stopped responding to my emails.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this crowd of complete scammers! I ordered a black coat for my husband. They sent the coat in green and the size large was more like a small. I contacted the company and their attitude stank. Returned item at a cost of £18 and still have not received a refund. Please do not use this site so that it makes no money and we can end the deception and theft of people's hard earned cash

Do not buy from these cowboys. The jacket that turned up was supposed to be xxl, it would not fit a small person. The labels had all been cut out. I tried to return and they tried to rob me off with a discount. When I did send back I got done for customs tax in the Netherlands. Their customer service is all outsourced. Awful

Yeah same as everyone else. Ordered something, it took forever to arrive and was an XXL when we ordered L - they just don’t respond to any communication. To try and return it. Very frustrating!

I asked to return the item as I was not happy with the quality or fit and was offered a discount couple of times and to keep coat. I replied insisting that I do not want the item, would like no further discount and would simply like to return it, and was offered a further discount. I eventually obtained the return address which was in the Netherlands which I paid to have it returned to them. I have since had it returned back to me as they rejected the item and now are not answering my emails at all but are happy to keep sending their rubbish emails about deals!

Wouldnt even give then one star its an absolute scam i orderd a coat by mistake and trued cancelling it in the first 10 minutes they said i had an hour or more to cancel, so i emailed them straight away to which they said we cant cancel it now it has to be deliverd.
Then the delivery took 3 weeks for it to arrive so i emailed them again to return it and they still havent responded i made the intial order on the 4th of january.
The quality of the coat that has arrived i decided to check it out see maybe il give then a chance the hand on the left is sown together shut absolutely disgusting customer service i feel i have been scammed.

I ordered a top from themensroomuk.com on the 10th December 2024, expecting it was coming from either Netherlands (as per their website) or UK.

Unfortunately, it arrived three weeks late, missing Christmas and was exceptionally poor quality. I wrote back on numerous occasions and was offered partial refunds (citing sustainability!). When I refused, I was provided with a Netherlands address to post the shirt. I did so (at a cost of about £14) and it was returned, as address was unknown. Upon further research this is merely a rental office.

So now, I am out the original £39.95 and the additional postage; the latter being even more frustrating than the poor quality items, with it being simply deceitful. Their advertising is misleading and their return policy breaches consumer rights in the UK/Europe.

Following up from my previous review. The last item arrived, finally!! I’ve discovered that not all of their items are sized to fit a child as this coat is actually too big! The real problem is that it looks nothing like what I ordered. The material is about the same as what my toy action men used to have as garments when I was a child! Considering it is advertised as leather you can understand the issue. After my first delivery, It’s what I expected to be honest. It’s not good enough to give away. I have better quality cloths I use to wipe the floor of my house when the dogs walk through with muddy paws. I’m not sure if you can call it a scam in every sense of the word because the items arrived. False advertising for sure though! A utter waste of time and money! I’m the idiot though as I didn’t check here first! I know the Chinese produce cheap items but these are the poorest quality clothes I’ve come across in my life.

An obvious professional scam selling cheap generic items with a huge profit margin and hoping people simply give up when trying to return items.

Absolute scam. Ordered a jacket, 3xl was advertised.Checked their measurements and all was ok. On arrival (from China) it was the wrong size and when I measured it all it was actually a 1xl but with 2xl label.
After 6 weeks of emails I had to advise them that I was taking legal action by reporting them to trading standards and the ECC. Two weeks later I received a replacement jacket and guess what. Same size as the one they sent only this time buttons were broke or missing and the size tag had been cut off. I’m cutting my losses and selling the jackets myself to try break even.
The company failed to reply to any messages after my first two emails. When you check they are uk registered, business address is in Netherlands, ship from china and payments go through Latvia. They also say they have a 4 star trust pilot rating with over 5000 positive reviews. Wish id taken the time to look but needed a smart jacket quick
