Very unhelpful. They waste your time and make no effort to actually make a difference in response to your complaints.

Real Real would not take back a purse that had a broken clasp. It was by The Row and very expensive. I finally sent it to the Row who acknowledged that the clasp was sold to me as unfixable. The Row kindly extended me a credit for the Real Real purchase price because they stand by their products. They acknowledge the purse should not have been sold to me and its condition.

I still haven’t received my package!!!!
I was told it was delivered 10 days ago

Terrible experience where 2 different RealReal staff incorrectly confirmed an item would be accepted - via online inquiry with photos AND at in-person visit with item the to retail store in Greenwich, CT.

I personally texted my RealReal sales contact on 9/8/25, as well as dropping these boots directly to the RealReal retail store inGreenwich, CT. The Greenwich staff in the store inspected them (they are new and never worn) and confirmed that the brand and item was accepted for listing by RealReal.

Prior to visiting the Greenwich store, I had an online communication that they were accepted by my RealReal sales rep who texted after I submitted many pictures of item, including pics with the Ralph Lauren brand stamps. Her text:

“We are accepting the Ralph Lauren boots at this time. I added them to a packing slip and emailed it to you - did you receive it?”

Otherwise, I would have utilized other private sale platforms to sell them.

I have now lost one month of prime Fall selling time due to this error by the online AND Greenwich store staff.

I am very upset and will never use RealReal to buy or sell again. I will separately post a negative review on this transaction.

I ordered a Chanel bag & when I got it, there was no serial number in the bag nor did it say Made in France. The website did not specify this. It did say however that it does not come with an authentication card so I was like, ok fine whatever it’s an old bag, the person probably lost it. But it might be fake, I wouldn’t know. No serial number nor Made in France stamp, makes me think it’s fake. Wouldn’t order again. So mad

Sometimes the sizes are wrong
Sometimes the descriptions are wrong sometimes the colors are wrong
Cleaning the clothes before selling them should be required by sellers— they often have odors that are offensive

Got my item quickly , in enough time to step through the last BBQ of the summer.

TRR is top-notch. It is understandable to be nervous about consigning valuable items to a online store. TRR runs its consignment business model based on transparency and integrity. The people who work at TRR Greenwich are outstanding such as Eileen and Natasha. Jennifer, my luxury manager is outstanding. They are customer centric, knowledgeable, and straightforward.

I was not shipped the right watch and it was not an easy swap as I received no follow up call from the team at the Greenwich store in Conneticut. I live in Brooklyn, Ny and currently still awaiting shipping. Soho location could do nothing to help although the watch I wanted was in-store.

I love my purse! The ratings on the purses are very accurate. I purchased one that said very good condition and it was very good condition. I was very happy. I will definitely be purchasing more bags in the future!

loved my experience with The Real Real! I was interested in selling a few luxury pieces and came across the Real Real. I made an appointment for consultation and drop off. Shaniqua at the Greenwich store was so very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions as well as shared with me different options that the Real Real has. I would definitely recommend my friends to this location.

The jacket was not as described. It said it was made out of polyester. It is not. It is made out of cheap looking leather (polyurethane). Sadly, it is non returnable.

the service second none to none. but, because of tariffs that your president has placed on Canada, i do not want to purchase american and we are using our Canadian for purchases
