Very Shoddy Company

I live in the town, wanted to rent a house for my relative that is moving up here to live. They have a professional career, I own a company that advises global top 100 companies, this company wanted 6 pages of background information filling out before we were going to be even considered to do a viewing. We filled it all out and submitted it. over a week later not even heard a thing. Total waste of time. If I were a Landlord, I'd pull my properties from this company, they're likely both under staffed and poorly trained (or just don't care). The whole experience was useless, from the first call to ask for a viewing, through the paperwork process. If my employees behaved this poorly I'd be embarrassed. Tiger Estates is a very shoddy company based on my experience.

Awful

Really disappointed. Our property was booked in for a valuation appointment. No one bothered to turned up, we rung up 30 minutes after the appointment time to see where the valuer was or what was going on, to then be told that the man doing the appointment had rang in sick and wouldn't be attending. Nice of anyone to let us know. If you can't be bothered to turn up to appointments and look after your customers when you're trying to win business then can hardly see them wanting to help sell the property once the cash is already in their pocket. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. As a company Tiger have been incredibly disappointing. We rented a flat on Adelaide Street Fleetwood that they manage and we were essentially forced out of our home by an incredibly violent and aggressive neighbouring tenant (also managed by Tiger). Jo Dransfield did less than nothing to rectify this and didn't care in the slightest when asked to do the most very basic requirements of her job as apparently "If I speak to him it will only escalate". I would highly recommend you avoid this company at all costs because as soon as they get your money you will be ignored and pushed aside. Jo is without a doubt one of the most useless property managers ever to walk the face of this earth.

Worst estate agents…don't sell with these

Worst estate agents I've ever come across. Rude on the phone. Your nothing but an annoyance if you dare to ring them and are treated as such. If you want to veiw they need to see your bank statements, your mortgage agreement and even after that if your own house isn't already on the market then you are declined to veiw properties. How they sell any houses is beyond belief.
SELLERS do NOT list with these guys if you want your house to sell. Disgusting service rude staff.

I will add to the warnings not to use this agent. We enquired about a rental and was asked to complete a form and set up an experian account so they could see our credit score before a viewing. I did all this the same day sent my form and credit report (996) and heard nothing for over a week. After chasing them up I get a email saying they were doing viewings with other people on the flat we had asked about and they would let me know later in the week what was happening. Still waiting weeks later. What a disgrace of a company.

Awful estate agent

I do have a lot of negative things to say about tiger estates Blackpool. I am a tenant renting a one bed flat and just moved in 3 months ago. Once I had been accepted for the property they said I’d have to wait a few weeks until I could move in (apparently they were working on the property)
Since moving in, the flat was disgusting, I spent 8 hours on move in day cleaning, it took me a whole week. I had to hire somebody out to deep cleaning the carpet as it smelt horrific and was brown! (When cleaned it was grey.) paid for that out of my own pocket. The shower leaked water underneath. Kitchen tap broken (stil is) damp and mould everywhere, holes in the back door, kitchen and bathroom flooring black from damp underneath (they wouldn’t sort so I had to replace the vinyl myself out of my own pocket) they took 1 month to fix a really bad leak in the bedroom when it rained my floor would flood. Which caused wallpaper to fall off the walls and cause black mould (which still hasn’t been sorted) it’s been 2 months since I’ve emailed and called about these problems and nothing has been done. Now to find out The walls have rising damp… I bought so much new furniture that has been ruined in just 2 months of buying. Back of bookshelves and my new sofa, everything has damp that has touched the wall. I can see all they’ve done is paint over old damp. Their maintenance team is appalling. I have asthma too so this could make my condition worse. I’ve re sealed the kitchen and bathroom myself, used filler myself on the door and walls with holes. I’m a 24 year old woman and I live alone so the pressure of having to deal with all this myself is hard. They don’t answer my emails when I tell them about problems. I’m worried sick about the rising damp and what it can do to my health and upset that my new expensive sofa has damp on the back. I’m not allowed to know any details of the actual landlord so have to go through tiger and their maintenance but they’re useless. It’s where I have to live and I’ve been here 3 months and there’s just so many problems. The landlord is also trying to sell the property now, and tiger keep making viewings without asking me, they’ll visit the property (not letting me know) pass by and just slide letters under the door saying there’s viewings ON THE DAY, I work nights too so when I’m getting up at around 2/3pm to find out there’s apparently a viewing in 30mins. They have time to arrange viewings on where I live but won’t sort out the damp in the property. No wonder no one wants to buy it. I still can’t believe I had to pay for the new flooring because of the damp there.
Cannot afford to move anywhere else as this place fits in with my income plus I’m on my own. So it’s upsetting to me that these problems aren’t getting seen to, it would be a lot different if it was their home. I just want it to feel like my home and not a stressful chore waiting for maintenance to listen to what I’ve been trying to say for 2 months.
There was ants swarming and wood lice in the kitchen due to holes at the bottom of the back door and wall that I had to filll in myself.
I do wish they would listen to me and fix these things. The property was disgusting before I moved in and I’ve made it a lot nicer and sorted a few things out myself but there are some such as the walls I cannot do on my own and it’s a massive disappointment that they’re not. I do wish that I knew how ignorant they were and uncaring they are before I moved in.
I hope this review helps others in future to try a different estate agents.

I was a purchaser and not strictly a client of Tiger, but every single thing which could be done to help me was done. I have to thank Gail Dyson for all her help in keeping things on track with the hideous conveyancing firm I was cursed with.
I would recommend Tiger without hesitation, their communication and attention was spot on

Don't Waste Your Time!

My daughter made an appointment to view a property after completing the copious amount of forms. She received an email with a date, a time and a gentleman's name who would meet her there. She booked time off work, arrived early at the property and waited almost half an hour...for nobody to show up. She then called the office to be told there was nothing in the diary, implied she was mistaken and suggested she rebook the viewing.
Absolutely unprofessional and unforgiveable service. If I were the seller/landlord, I'd also be furious at the lackadaisical attitude of this shower.
On the bright side, she may have dodged a bullet if this is how they treat potential buyers/tenants?
Avoid at all costs, their reviews should tell you all you need to know to the point the good reviews should probably be treated with a pinch of salt!

A completely useless company

No wonder this incompetent, useless shower don't even have 3 stars! Pathetic, useless, inept are just 3 of the more polite words to describe this outfit. If you are buying, selling, renting then avoid this lot at all costs!!!!

Michelle was very helpful at Tiger Estates Blackpool

As a buyer Michelle was very helpful at the Tiger Estates Blackpool Office. Property enquries were answered very promptly and professionally and the property booking/viewing process was very efficient. I've deducted 1 star due to the agents property descriptions stating that properties were immaculate and very well presented...sadly upon viewing said properties they were far from immaculate :(

Had a offer accepted and then gazumped mid-process.

Disgusting experience as a prospective buyer. I had a offer on a house accepted over the asking price (even congratulated for it funnily enough). I also got sent a email with no information to state the above either.

As a result, I got a solicitor etc ready ASAP and was told there was a 'higher offer' less than 18 hours later. They then used their sales tactics to try and get me into a bidding war which would then artificially inflate the price and the egos of everyone involved, so I didn't out of principal. I am really unsure why they would accept a offer, get me to commit to a solicitor and then screw me over like that?

Speaking to a friend who's also been looking to buy previously, this seems to be a common occurrence for Tiger Estates, as he had similar happen to him, but I didn't know of this beforehand, or would have treaded with caution or avoided completely.

I like to try businesses regardless of their bad reviews, but in this case I can see that the bad reviews clearly appear to be warranted.

I hope the estates agent are happy with their with their few extra quid and 2 of my days wasted.

Unfortunately given the monopolistic nature of some estate agents, fortunately much so less nowadays, our paths may begrudgingly have to cross again in future.

I have not used my real name for this review, but I can assure those reading that it's a accurate representation of my recent experience with this company.

Don`t list Your Property For Sale

Just called to arrange a viewing on a property with a view to buying to let. Told them I was a cash buyer with nothing to sell. They told me I had to forward a bank statement showing funds available!
If you`re thinking of selling with them, don`t,you`ll be missing lots of opportunities from potential buyers.

Absolutely shocking, awful estate and lettings agent. AVOID. I am a landlord and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Far better local agents in Blackpool. Do not use.

Rubbish Estate Agent

To be honest I wouldn’t give Tiger Agency Blackpool a star. Our offer was accepted on a property, we then had a mortgage in place and our solicitors started the paperwork. Two weeks down the line we had an email to say that someone has put a higher offer on the property weeks after and want us to match. This giving us the impression that they carried on with viewings after our offer was accepted (very unprofessional and no morals). They did turn around and say that these people viewed the house same day but only put an offer in two weeks after, morally the agency should have said something and explained an offer was accepted. We explained that we are not changing our offer as it was accepted. We explained how un professional this is and our agency certainly wouldn’t allow this as they were disappointed. Their response was not sympathetic and they came across as they didn’t care at all that they were allowing gazumping to occur.
What made it even worse was that once we said that we are not getting into a bidding war over a property when our offer was accepted in the first place, we then got an email to say that if we do want to increase at any point to call, almost giving the impression they are willing to do another couple or family over again. All about the commission it appears and they don’t give a care in the world about their clients.
