Have you noticed that EVERY SINGLE REVIEW dated 2023 is one-star and complains that the service doesn't work and nobody responds to customer queries.

I'd give it zero. My wife been trying for weeks to use. Says account locked. Email and never get a response. Tried 4 time's for over a month. Topped up and lost £5. No way to contact other than email and never get a reply. Joke

No customer service. No answer to emails. No answer from owner of Toolani. No connection. No good! Would like to know how to recover my credit with the company.

Avoid Toolani, it's a scam, they steal your money. You buy credit and it seems to works for a short while, then it stops connecting your calls and they keep the credit amount. There's no way to contact them for a refund. The live chat is always offline. The only method is the contact form but they don't reply. The supposed 'owner' David West sounds like a fake. If you paid by credit or debit card, you can try to get your money back by chargeback.

Very disappointing, it seemed to work for a while , but now now connection and if it does it will go dead after a short time .
I am angry as I have still money on this . It seems corrupt

You Lot Do Not Even Deserve A STAR...3 weeks plus and NO ANSWER after YOU LOCKED MY ACCOUNT.

Extremely poor reception. Live chat non existence.
Email responce with long waiting time.

I setup Toolani for my parents to keep in touch with me and for 2+ years absolutely no problems until early June when with still approximately £12 credit left they deactivated my account and despite sending 5 emails have never replied, nor refunded my money.
I have now setup with another company. Toolani have turned out to be no more than common thieves.

After responding to a ridiculous email from Toolani, still not rectified. Disgraceful!

Non existent customer service, credit deducted despite failed and not connected phone calls, the Without logging in, the Website doesn't list necessary information to make a phone call except "Install the app", for which I have no phone (why does one have to always log in to get to the access number that is the same for everyone anyway?). I was using Handykick with absolutely no problems for years, but they ceased service and recommended Toolani.

I have had only limited success using Toolani. Some calls to Australia were connected, others fail or are disconnected mid call. Most recent attempts to make a call have resulted in a failed call, some are simply not connected, the call failed completely and was disconnected before the number I called started to ring, or there is just silence after completing the dialling process, but still every time 10cents was deducted from my account. Sometimes calls are simply disconnected mid call despite there still being credit available. This has happened to me multiple times on different days, and especially bad in December 2022. In particular, I had an emergency situation in Australia and had to call from Austria, and Toolani failed repeatedly, and charged me every time.

I contacted Toolani customer service so far with 6 messages either via email or through their online contact form. Some messages via the online contact form were auto-confirmed from David West as delivered and that someone would answer, others were not. No one has ever answered.

In my opinion, using a different company would be the better option.

It is impossible to get a connection even if you have credit. There is no way of getting a refund of the credit. AVOID!

I wished to change my email address but having received their standard response about activating the ‘account’ when clicking the link, nothing happens- unable to contact the server or some such rubbish.
I’ve emailed them time and time again but nothing……
What a sh1te (hate to say that) company. How do I reclaim the cash invested?

I was with Toolani a few years and didn't have any problem. Recently I've joined Lebara that gives me roaming in 42 countries, so I have decided to close my Toolani account.

After few emails with no response at all, I am going to seek legal help to recover my money on my Toolani account.

Toolani app on google store is disappeared, you can not make call on android device as no application available on play store. Manage to get on my account on their website and turned off the auto payment for call credit. The well worked app now turned on scam.

The credit I had on Toolani to call just disappeared. I contacted them via email because you can not find a phone nr. I didn't get any reply. I sent several emails now, no reply whatsoever.
No service at all from toolani and credit you payed for might just disappear.

It appears that my credit card expired and auto payment was not taken. I do not recall getting any advice that the card was about to expire as one would normally receive as part of customer service. When I tried to add to my account it will not allow me to do so. Why ? I need my account back ASAP please so that I can call.

Disgusting service have credit a nd can not make calls have emailed 10 times and they don’t get back to you. Do not use this service.

I have the same problem as other users: still plenty of money on the account, but for the last 3 weeks it won’t let me connect to my phone number I used for years. It tells me to contact them by email, but Toolani won’t reply to emails. Maybe Toolani has gone bankrup? DO NOT PAY MONEY to Toolani, you might loose the lot!

Awful experience. I downloaded the app, credited enough money but every time I call it comes up saying “ sorry we are unable to connect.”
What a waste of my time and money !!
