Rent a car for second time to travel to bansko everything went well

Overall very good experience. One point to improve- we had to wait over 15 minutes outside in the cold to the shuttle when we arrived. It would have been nice if it had arrived earlier or at least if we were told to wait inside till the transfer arrives.

Highly recommended, had no issues at all. We were picked up by the shuttle bus at the airport. Car was modern and clean and all conditions were clearly explained to us. We purchased premium insurance for peace of mind but had no issues. Staff were great. Highly recommended.

This time I treated myself to a more luxurious car, a Peugeot 308 GT. A fantastic sporty car with perfect road holding and steering. A well maintained new car. It has a luxurious, modern, and neat interior. The digital displays with speedometer and navigation are a very nice addition and easy to operate. Unfortunately, I also have to mention the downside of this car. The car has 225/40 18 tires, which have low sidewalls, and combined with the sporty suspension, makes it a less comfortable driving experience. During the winter months in Bulgaria, people are required to drive with winter tires, so this car had winter tires. The tires made so much noise that it was noticeable and affected my hearing. I noticed it when driving away from the depot and drove back to the main office. I told them my problem. They helped me extensively, inspected the car, but couldn't find any technical problems. Several emails back and forth, which were answered politely and service-mindedly, didn't lead to a solution. Unfortunately, after 12 days of vacation, I can conclude that you're bound by the contract, and a replacement car is only possible in the event of a technical problem. My multiple requests for a different car remained unfulfilled. I was forced to drive the car for the entire Christmas holidays with this noise. A representative told me the noise was normal with these tires, I really disagree. At low speeds of 30-50 km/h (19-31 mph), it was still manageable, but at 140 km/h (87 mph), it was deafening. Hopefully, Toprentacar will learn from this experience and purchase better quality tires and perhaps use smaller rims for this period for better comfort during the winter months so that experiences like this can be avoided. Furthermore, I would really have liked a different car and seen the contract adjusted. Perhaps it will be possible in the future, for a small fee. I would have definitely paid that. Toprentacar remains the best rental company for me; they are fast, customer-friendly, and service-oriented. There's a free shuttle from the airport to the head office. Good prices and top quality new cars. I'll continue renting my car here, even after this experience. Hopefully, we've both learned from this situation.

My experience with your rental company was like cold and hot water.I explain,I've booked a car from 23 of December until 26 .I came to your country a day before at 22 of December,so when i realised my mistake about the start day of booking,i was in Sofia at 22/12/2025,so i needed a car from 22/12 until 26/12 instead of 23/12 until 26/12.When i tried to have a car from 22/12 a young boy who works on your company not only did'nt try to help me but se was so rude to me saying me that he doesn't care about finding me a car for one more day(starting 22/12,instead of 23/12).He told to find a hotel in Sofia for 22/12 and come again at 23/12 that started my booking, although i told him that i will stay in Bansko and not in Sofia for my Christmas holidays.So i took a my first car at 22/12 and i had to drive to Bansko and the day after at 23 i returned again to Sofia to take another car (from 23-26/12).I drived for 6 hours in one day,from Sofia to Bansko and returning,because the young boy did'nt want to help me at all.In the contrary of his behavior to me at 23/12 i meeted Mrs Carolina who was so helpful and positive to me, always with a big smile.So i give 10 to 10 to Mrs Carolina and 0 to 10 to him.

Car was great but unfortunate communication on returning the car at Sofia airport. Desk was closed, had to pay 5 euros for parking and drive to head office which was a 15 minute drive away. Then returning 15 minutes with the shuttle adding more than half an hour to check in with a little baby is not great. Will think twice before renting a car again

I needed a car at very short notice. The staff in Plovdiv are very helpful and managed to provide a very smart Renault Clio V.

Good as always. Just the camera in the shuttle was kinda stupid. This wont happen in Western Europe.
