From the beginning to the end of the trip, trailmates were amazing! A very professional service which kept you informed at all times on what to expect throughout the holiday! A great choice of hotel, excellent guides, reliable transfers and the group of people was put together well to make it an excellent experience.

The overall organisation and planning execution was very good. I really enjoyed the hikes with a good company of fellow Trailmates. Would definitely recommend for all hiking lovers.

I did a week's walking in Northern Spain with Trailmates. Lovely group of 11 people and a welcoming hotel. We did five great walks, enjoyed relaxing in the hotel pool, drinks and good food in the evening. The walks on the Asturias trip featured some long steep climbs on rocky ground, but if that doesn't put you off, the views are amazing. I recommend a day or two in Bilbao as part of this trip.

Communication was always timely and helpful. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and spacious. Transfers were also comfortable. Hikes were gorgeous and challenging. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Other travelers were all very nice. Great group of people!

I did the Madeira hike last week and I am very happy. Everything was arranged by them and you didn’t have to worry about anything. Our group was small and felt very welcoming . The hiking program gave you free time in the afternoon so you could explore Funchal by yourself, as the location of the apartment was very central. Definitely will join them again soon!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I had a wonderful week hiking through the beautiful landscapes of Durmitor! The whole trip was very well organised, with seamless communication and a thoughtfully planned itinerary. It offered a good mix of hikes with different difficulty levels, while still giving us enough time to explore Durmitor on our own.
The group was lovely, and we had an amazing local guide. He made sure everything went smoothly during our hikes and gave us some great recommendations for our free day.
I´d happily join another trip with Trailmates in the future!

This was my first group hike experience without my friend circle & I absolutely loved it.
The key highlights, apart from the hike in Svaneti, Georgia itself, were the people you meet here & the local guides who made the trip so warm & special for all of us.
Trailmates did a great job with arranging the logistics & stay. The communication on Whatsapp was prompt & helpful. The breakfast at the place where we stayed was also pretty good, so no complaints whatsoever.

Worth mentioning that some of us got sick (perhaps due to food/ weather) however, the guides made sure that those of us who weren't feeling great could take the day off & got the care / support they needed, which was great.

Overall, loved the experience & looking forward to doing another one of these in the coming years!

I think that everything was thought through and taken care of- we had a transfer and accommodation included. The guide was supporting us and responsive, super helpful when needed. We had a day off right in the middle of the week to let us rest and relax a bit.

I would really recommend this company. Everything was well planned & the hikes & guide were great. It provided structure but also allowed for flexibility outside of this which worked really well. The accommodation was really good, I think it’s very good value for money overall. The group were great too & I’d definitely book another trip with this company. I’ve been on group trips before & this was by far the best experience.

The organisation and arrangements with the hotel were very good. The group was lovely, with a great international mix and mindset. The hiking experience was also excellent — our guide was very professional while remaining friendly and approachable throughout the trip.

I just completed the Montenegro hiking trip and had a brilliant time! Great hikes, lovely group and a fab guide. A really well organised trip exploring the beautiful national park of Durmitor.

Did the 8 day Georgia tour exploring the mountainous region of Svaneti. I highly recommend this if you are a solo traveller who would want to experience hikes with other likeminded people. Experienced or non-experienced hikers are welcome and you'll be assured you will be supported throughout you trip. There are 2 guides, one at front to set the pace and at back to ensure all will succesfully complete the hike.

I, and for certain can speak on behalf of our group that we are lucky to have Georgi and Tamuna. They are such a dream team, and made sure everyone was alright and even made adjustments based on the needs of the group. We also had absolute competent drivers that made sure we arrive safely in our destinations given some of the roads might be tricky to navigate.

Briefings were sent out daily, as to what to be expected on the day of hike which is always appreciated.

The hotel is very decent with warm showers, as well as breakfast is inculded. Do expect slow wifi connection, but this is probably due to remote location.

Booking and communication with Trailmates Adventures is very easy and you'd get a response within ours of sending a query. I can only speak highly about the Georgia trip through Trailmatesadventures, and without a doubt will not hesitate to book another trip for destination that interests me.

Amazing trip to Albania
I went to Albania in August 2026 and it was a wonderful experience. The landscape was stunning and the hikes were just right - challenging but very manageable. The organization of the whole trip was very good. I felt very comfortable with the group and we had a great guide with Saimir. I can definitely recommend Trailmatesadventures!

I had a great experience with Trailmates Adventures, I went on their hiking tour in Georgia (got back yesterday) and am still buzzing with energy. The trip was great, each hike felt very different and our guides Giorgi and Tamuna were amazing! They did much more than lead us on the hikes, they’d give us tips for places to eat and drink, check in on how we were doing during the hikes and evenings to make sure we were having fun, and helped give some ideas for our ‘hike free day’. They really went above and beyond. Even the drivers taking us to the hiking start points each day were great (with amazing pre hike playlists to pump you up)!

The trip was so smooth, you always felt very taken care of and the itinerary and the views are unreal! If Georgia wasn’t on your list before, it definitely should be now!

Very quick and easy communication with Garry before and during the trip, and I had excellent guides on the spot in Georgia. Also very good quality/price ratio. The group was fantastic and diverse, with open-minded people from all over the world. I had a great time and would totally go again with Trailmates Adventures!
