They don't solve anything

You're being overcharged (it's not the first time) and you don't answer the customer. I've had no response for a week, even though I've sent several emails.
It is clear that there is no control in your system and that you don't care about the customer.
If you're thinking of signing up, think twice, because if you have a problem you can be sure it won't be solved.

Too expensive for what you get

Too expensive for what you get. Specially the TrainMore Amstelveenseweg is very crowded since it became a red label. Not worth it!
Also the crew is very passive. Just sitting or on their mobile instead of cleaning etc.

Dear Trainmore Coolsingel Rotterdam,

Dear Trainmore Coolsingel Rotterdam,

I’m writing to share some concerns about a recent experience at your gym. Unfortunately, I lost my belt during my visit, and when I sought assistance from your staff, I was disappointed by the lack of support I received. I understand that these situations are not always within your control, but I felt that the response I got was dismissive and indifferent.

This experience left me feeling unsupported and uncomfortable. As a member, I value a safe and welcoming environment, but this incident has affected my confidence in returning.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that improvements can be made to ensure all members feel cared for and safe.

Thank you for your attention.

FRAUDULENT company

I confirm previous reviews, this is a FRAUDULENT company. I had a contract signed in September 2023 for a 4 months trial and then I could leave when I want without notice or pause the gym when away travelling for weeks. I was told that I will be informed about the new contracts that will be provided by Train More when they acquire the gym and didn’t not need to do anything if I didn’t want to enrol with Train More. Instead Train More changed extensively contracts T&C without informing clients, didn’t stop any memberships even do agreed to do so and then threaten to send the dossier to a recovery company. When I have actually never joined the gym since they took over my old gym, never signed a new contract, never received an email with any information about changes and the Train More customer services ignore for weeks emails while trying to withdraw money from my account several times per months now. It’s a very stressful experience and l will have no other choice than to take legal actions if they don’t adequately address this situation asap. Particularly looking at the extent of the situation based on previous reviews. This can’t be allowed

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. Please do not waste your money as they are complete scammers. Early this year, I enrolled at Trainmore Groningen but unfortunately became severely ill 4 months later due to my pregnancy, preventing me from training completely. In light of this, I contacted Trainmore to explain my situation and request an early termination of my membership. The representative I spoke with was initially understanding and assured me that my membership was canceled and my last payment month would be May 2024. After that, I hadn't checked my emails for a month as I was unwell and didn't have notifications on. When I went to check, they had said payment for May couldn't be made and I would have to pay a fee of 100 + euros (When I first signed up I gave them my bank details so I don't know why they weren't able to take the payment) I said I would pay for May but they told me the case has gone to a collections agency.

Now, In recent weeks, I have been subjected to a barrage of threatening and unwarranted emails demanding exorbitant payment of €773 i.e. they are trying to get my to pay for another year and a half in full. When I challenged these claims, Trainmore inexplicably asserted that I had failed to provide proof of my illness. However, in my cancellation email, no such evidence was ever requested. In fact, the email explicitly states that my membership was canceled on April 22, 2024, effectively terminating my financial obligations as of May 2024." Now a debt collection agency is sending letters to my home demanding I pay this amount or will be taken to court. After reading the other reviews it seems they're making a habit of scamming people out of money.

To you Trainmore - you can not have one of your representatives tell someone their subscription is cancelled and then charge them for a year and a half - that's extortion and manipulation.

Scammed

Scammed. Cancelled my subscription within 14 days per contract. Fine. Contract says "pay per use", so I should pay for the one time I went there. Customer support says I went 3 times, and charges me 3 x 25eur instead of 25eur. I dispute it, but customer support just ignores me. No answer on follow-up email.

This is a fraudulent company.

This is a fraudulent company.
After my previous gym was bought by Trainmore, I wanted to stop my membership. The unfriendly staff told me that I don’t need to do anything and my membership will be cancelled. I never signed a new contract with Trainmore. Now since 4 months, they still try to charge me every months and are sending after me a recovery debt company.
Do not subscribe to Trainmore, they are just stealing your money!

Good gym and accessible if you are…

Good gym and accessible if you are living in Amsterdam (inside the ring).
Machines and gym is mostly clean, there are few places that I found annoyingly not equipped with good air-condition during warm days (Single, Oosterdok)
Overall nice customer service, smiling reception, nice protein shakes (XXL vending machines) and a good Business model.
There were two Sauna that are not available anymore (One at Oosterdok). and sometimes music stops in these three.
At Parnaussusweg (Zuidas) 24/7 option is not available anymore. But Basic-Fit is still offering that option.
I'm a member since 2021.

TrainMore Operations Sharatah..

TrainMore Operations Sharatah... I don't know why, it's easy for him to charge someone when your subscription is already expired. Why can't it be terminated automatically? Lucky to eat someone's money. Even the manager has no idea if I have to give monthly notice. I have not received an explanation on how to proceed with the cancellation. But it's easy for those in IT or operations managers to sit and charge customers. It takes forever to receive an email response. And they told me they canceled with the next availability. It's not my job to do it for you. It is better to provide a good system and satisfy customers instead of chasing them..

such a nightmare

If you don't know where to put your money, this is the perfect place to invest. Luckily, they charge you every month even after cancellation. Please do not go to this gym. There are better gyms in Amsterdam with friendly service, much more equipment and cleanliness. What they are doing is such a ridiculous system. What a bad experience.. Even a single star is excessive. I have been working on canceling my personal training membership. It should be canceled automatically but it's not what it is. Even though my membership is not something they want to cancel. The information I have shared makes no sense at all. The manager's branch doesn't have any information, not even the host. I am curious why they need to sit there when they could do the same thing i could do on my phone. I was told to get in touch with a customer service to terminate my membership. I have just been charged. I am so tired that I couldn't even complete my session calmly. Waste of money amd energy They don't provide any explanation during the registration process. This thing will require a month notice blah blah... I had an excellent Personal trainer, but I couldn't finish the session. They completely drain my energy Management, which includes the hosts. Please Bring a person capable of performing the task to the front desk. It's preferable to head to citysport and basicfit instead of trainmore in noord .

NEVER MORE! Misleading, overcharging, client abusing company

In the beginning of the year I hired through the website a 4 week plan for my mother who came to visit from airbroad. We explicitly asked for no auto renovation. Now they are charging us for 3 months we never hired in the first place.
Now they are sending threatening emails saying "ITS BETER TO PAY NOW OTHERWISE WE WILL SEND THIS TO CHARGING AGENCY". Even their choice of words is a red flag.

I do not recommend this company

I have tried the gym and even supported it during COVID-19, but I'm glad I have terminated my contract. The gym facilities are overcrowded during popular times, and dirty most of the times; dust on top of the equipment, filthy toilets often without soap or toilet paper. Even terminating the contract was a disappointment: I sent them a message to end the contract via the online form, and even though they claimed to respond within a few days, I had to send them a reminder, and they replied after two months, telling me that my contract will still be running until I fill in a specific form, and they charged me for these three months that they were unresponsive. Well, take the money; this is what they are mainly after, and I do not want to have anything with them. Of course, there is also kind staff working there, but the online support team was always rude and incomprehension. I do not recommend this company.

The customer service is the worst

The customer service is the worst. If you want to cancel your subscription they ask you to fill out the cancellation form and say they will send the confirmation within 5 working days but they don't respond and there is no way to contact them and I'm still waiting! It's terrible.

Customer Care is the worst!!

Customer Care is the worst!!

They are only after your money. At the gym they give you the wrong information to make you sign up (even when asking explicitly about the conditions). When you want to stop your subscription you get the bill even though at the gym they told you differently when signing up.

When contacting customer care (you can better call it “get customers money department”) they just do not listen and keep saying they feel sorry but it is what it is and you have to pay.

The worst gym ever

The worst gym ever , major scammers, do not join unless you what a lifetime of false outstanding fees emails . Terrible customer service , no regard for anything , very bad response time. Terrible facilities , terrible service , if u could give a negative number I would. Genuinely the world would be a better place if it disappeared , and that is me sugar coating it. They increase price without saying a thing and the facilities are not worth the money.
