Biggest Frauds with 0 conscious

SO done with this ranky snob gym and the disgusting management.

I literally cancelled at the gym, for good reason- they completely redesigned the gym and took away the dance studio aka the only reason I signed up to it. Which changes like that legally need go be mentioned if I sign up for a year- otherwise it is a valid reason for me to end the contract if they completely take out a part of the gym. Like that was the only reason I joined it.

Talked to the manager who was insanely rude about it & just kept ignoring my reasoning by just responding „yeah but I think you should not“?!?- I don’t care what you think this is my money I’m spending.

Now I finally thought I was done with this gym drama. They have not sent me a SINGLEEEEE payment reminder nor tried to deduct from my account and I haven’t been there in nearly a YEAR!!! And now they send me a F ing 743€ INCASSO?!?

How dare you. They have been nothing but rude whilst other gyms make it so easy when you’re clearly not able to make use of it, they have hundreds of members paying every month yet they have the audacity to ask me for 700€ when I haven’t been ONCE Since literally the start of the year and the last time I paid, after which they also deactived my KeyChain- meaning even if I tried I couldn’t have went the last 11 months!!

The fact that I’ve heard of multiple people getting scammed like this including in this tread speaks for itself.

Disgusting behaviour.

I would recommend

I've been going to TrainMore (Coolsingel, Rotterdam location) for a while now, and I have been very happy. They've made the gym fun and cozy with some lights and good music. They also have plenty of machines and equipment, and I like the free sports water. :)

They will send collectors your way after you cancel subscription

TrainMore are scammers and this is a part of their business model to send the collector agency your way after their support refunded you for the excessive charges post subscription cancellation. First they used to steal my money for 3 month after I cancelled the subscription via email (and received a positive automatic response). I even returned my keys in time to the reception of the club and they confirmed everything is cancelled. I had 4 consecutive charges after that in the following 3 month. I complained on Facebook and they returned the overcharged amount and completed the cancellation of the contract. Now I'm being threatened by the boeder incasso collector and demanded to return the refunded amount. No reason provided.
They are scammers. Never ever subscribe with them and give them access to direct debit. I couldn't have imagined that in the country like Netherlands something like this can happen just as a part of the business model.

They keep charging you money if you cancel.

They keep charging you money if you cancel. I have asked for cancellation of my membership on the 1st of September sending proof of moving abroad like flight ticket, and resignation from my job, but they wanted also a proof of address deregistration, which you can obtain only on the day you move, not in advance. So, I sent also that one the day I moved, and they said they will keep charging me another month starting from the day I moved and not from when I asked to cancel my membership. ALSO, they often miscalculate your 1 euro discount per workout and you have no way to check it, but keep count yourself manually.

Customer service is going down hill big…

Customer service is going down hill big time.

Takes weeks to reply to emails and they can't answer or deal with anything in person or over the phone that isn't the simpliest of requests. I'm being overcharged for months now and it's taken weeks and multiple emails and calls and I'm still getting nowhere.

Excellent gym with friendly staff

My girlfriend and are tourists in town and the gym was excellent. Brand new with great equipment, super clean and lots of space for all your different types of working out, from stretching to squats. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful allowing us to have a free trial and gave us a tour around.

Quality Sucks

People who dont work hard and just sittings on the bar during work and don't clean thing.

Also those fake fit influencers with camera's. Quality of trainmore is being wors after the divorce of the owners.

Only focussing on Amsterdam and not the current gyms. This is why the never will be bigger then SportCity and Basic Fit.

Worst gym I have ever experienced

Worst gym I have ever experienced. Customer service is shockingly bad. They never respond to you when you email them. They request money you don't owe. They don't let you cancel your membership and keep sending you emails to pay. They promise to freeze your account and then take the money anyway. Awful awful experience. The only plus side is the gym staff at Janskerkof gym in Utrecht are very nice so I do not blame them. But Trainmore itself is so badly run. The gym was also tiny and overcrowded.

Don’t go to this gym

1.5 year ago I started a 1 year contract. The first 6 months were for free. Within the 6 months I got injured so I couldn’t go to the gym anymore, so I didn’t realize that they weren’t taking out the money. Maybe 8 months after that I got an email that I have to pay around 300 euro. I asked for the invoice, which wasn’t included. No answer. Instead a couple of weeks later I received the same email with the amount about 80 euro more. To avoid increasing costs I paid, but I asked them again to send me an invoice, so I can check the charges and since it’s been over a year, to cancel my contract. No answer. I sent them 3 reminders to reply. No answer all 3 times.
In the meantime I moved to a different city. So I cancelled online as well. But I didn’t get anything out of that either. I went back to Amsterdam to talk to someone at the desk. This person told me the contract is cancelled at the end of the month, so this was the last time I would have paid. I said, fine. But now it’s the next month and they took out money again.
They obviously don’t have any customer service or a proper accounting behind what their doing.
They have no business running a business at all. Absolutely ridiculous.
And those 5 star reviews claiming there is good customer service are obviously fake. Maybe when you just started ups a a client they might answer but if you want any information on payment, cancellation or have a complaint, they’re dead silent.

Great gyms and customer service

Great gyms with heaps of additional benefits (e.g. nutrition machines, drinks, coffee, showers, lockers, vibe). Customer service did a great job solving my transfer membership problem - recommend speaking to the people on the ground as they're always friendly and try to make things work!

Scam business

Scam business if you want to sign up for a short period, be careful. I payed for the highest membership price and I was told that my membership only lasts a month when I signed up. I left Amsterdam and several months later, they send a debt collector after me and tell me I have to pay for all these months.

Horrible racist company

Horrible racist company. Just because you put people of color on your posters don't mean you care. Stealing money from their customers by charging them even AFTER their service has ended.

One of the worst gym ever

One of the worst gym ever. They sent me an invoice of €1000 because they have a very nice trick. Let me explain you guys so you never ever again go to that gym.
I chose that gym because it was near and also they had a campaign of two months free trial workout offer. I enrolled in February with a flex membership and after two months in April I quit because I didn’t like it in that trial period. Now they say that my membership begins at April and I didn’t have flex membership and I have to pay whole year at once. I have sent a complaint letter to them and in the meantime interest continues to run so I have to pay more. They do not have any phone number so that I can instantly start the process of complaint. We’ll end up in the court eventually and I will tell all the people around me “never go that gym”. Perfect job guys!

Trying to get in touch with them for awhile

Trying to get in touch with them for a while now and I am not getting any response whatsoever. It was an easy question about quotations and nothing big to ask, but they are nowhere to be found. Also I repeatedly told them the amount doesn't comply with what is being written off and the only response I got was there will be a calculator soon, but that was over a year ago and I haven't seen it. Lastly their website only seems to be made to bring in new potential customers or offer upgrades, but nothing about customer service with the exception of a brief FAQ. I am seriously contemplating going to another gym that is further away but has more insights into customer profiles and service.

Lie about flexible membership and administration fee

I signed up for flexible membership and also paid 30 euro for an "administration fee". The administration fee was for a "non optional" free PT session and 10 euro vending machine credit. I never got the credit nor the free pt session. I even learnt my membership id when I wanted to switch to a different location because the one I signed up for had a hot water issue for the whole month.

After 4 weeks I decided to cancel my membership. I signed up for an online form and returned my tag and everything the day after. The person at the clerk didn't say anything just took my tag back. When I complaint to him about vending machine he offered me some free stuff from the machine (thank you that was the only good experience I had).

Then a week later I got charged for the next 4 weeks even though I cancelled my membership and already returned my tag back. When I asked Customer Services with a mail they told me that I have to because there is a month notice period. A MONTH NOTICE PERIOD FOR A FLEXIBLE MEMBERSHIP. I was on my first month for god's sake. How was I supposed to know that the hot water issue to last for more than a month in my first day!!!
I told them that I am a victim of bad experience here but they never listened. Then I objected the payment through the bank and got my money back. Then received another mail from Trainmore that says I will have to pay the amount and a 40 euro fine and if I had an objection I should reach them. Sent them 3 mails, another complaint form through website, no returns.
Today I got a fine and the 30 days worth of membership which I never used.
to sum up I ended up paying almost 200 euros for 4 weeks of usage of one location which didn't have a proper hot water in the shower. Trainmore is a scam, flexible membership is a total lie, administration fee is for nothing.
