Please I bought a return ticket…

Please I bought a return ticket yesterday 8 February for 3 adults from Leeds to Victoria London and Victoria London back to Leeds same day and I was debited £92 yet I have not received any email confirmation of my ticket, no reference number, nothing was sent to me.Our journey is 7:30am on Sunday 12 February. Invalid Tickets

The train tickets purchased through the traintickets.com service were invalid for travel at the booked times, resulting in me being charged again on the train. The website also appears to be related to national rail, but is infact a separate unconnected entity. The whole impression is misleading and while i may have been unlucky, it appears to be a scam.

I have tried on numerous occasions to…

Need to avoid this company at all costs I have tried putting number in that they gave me when they took money from my bank and they say number not recognised I have tried on numerous occasions to get in touch with this company reference my tickets. I will be in my 80th year when I travel and walk with a walker. I requested a seat reservation when I got my tickets no seat reserved. I have messaged to say I need seat as have to have assistance when travelling. I also said was willing to pay extra for 1st class if I could get reservations on that. No one has contacted me. Cross country can not reserve a seat for me as the number for my reservation they can not contact too I am sitting here in tears as now I will not be able to travel and it may have been my last time to meet up with family

Bought a return ticket from diss to Salisbury. The outward journey was Warminster to diss. The return was from London Paddington to westbury. The confirmation email had an incorrect ref number. Never ever use this company

Rejected two cards

I booked tickets and at the end of the transaction I was told it hadn't gone through. I repeated with a different card and the same thing happened. I eventually booked with the trainline.com, as I was worried about fraudulent use of my details.

NO CUSTOMER HELP. Still waiting 2 weeks o….

Waiting for an email reply from over a week ago. I’d appreciate someone replying to me regarding the train strikes and tickets I purchased. I was offered an exchange or refund and NOBODY has got back to me. I wouldn’t be in any rush to recommend this service if there is no customer service to speak to when things have gone wrong. I’ve sent 4 emails for a reply and had NO response.

UPDATE IVE REPLIED 10+ times and would just like the partial refund which you have confirmed I would be entitled to. There has been no answer from the company AGAIN. I keep sending email after email and hear nothing back. I’ve sent you the booking reference and tried being forth coming but it is getting frustrating now. Please can someone reply to me or help provide me with a telephone number as your email address doesn’t seem to be receiving emails I keep sending. I’ve tried so many times and would appreciate some help with this.

Impossible to contact for a refund

I have booked tickets through traintickets.com for 8th and 9th November and that is now impacted by the rail strikes. The reference number does not work on manage my booking and the email address is invalid! How on earth do you contact these people to get a refund??????????????????

Horrendous customer service...avoid

tried to claim a refund for 2 train cancellations. Support team advised me immediately how to claim a refund which I did. They have now gone dark and completely ignoring my emails, no response despite several chasers. No contact number or address on the website so no alternative method of contact. First and last time I will ever use these cowboys. Thankfully the Ombudsman have advised me how I can report them and claim compensation.

A quick response to my query

After I booked my train tickets online, I received a message confirming the payment etc also adding that an email would be sent immediately to me to include the actual tickets. I began to panic a little when this email wasn’t received, however after emailing the company with my query they responded quickly by sending another email attaching the tickets (the original email however did eventually arrive) thank you traintickets.com for your quick response.

No compensation for no train….

I bought return tickets in advance for a journey from Totnes to Torquay via Newton Abbot on Sunday 14th Aug. When I arrived at Torquay station, the train had been cancelled, with no forewarning from Traintickets and I had to take a taxi , for £25. At Newton Abbot, the train to Totnes had also been cancelled without warning and I had to take another taxi to arrive before the last South Devon train from Totnes home left. Yet I could not get one penny in compensation from Traintickets as I could have done by booking with GWR. Traintickets take the first £10 in ’admin costs’, so I could claim nothing.
Is this even legal under the Consumer Credit Act?

I have just bought t ickets from these people. Part of the return journey has the wrong date on. Ticket unusable . No way to contact them. In despair they have ruined my little holiday. I would give them no stars but it won't let me!

Got one ticket less charged full amount

Booked return tickets from Chelmsford to Newcastle for 2 adults .Got email with reference number . When we went to print tickets at one of the station , they gave us but one ticket is missing . When we asked at the ticket counter they told us to contact train ticket. Com . No phone number to contact . Sent an email , I had automated reply saying it may take 5 working days . My train is on Friday and I really don’t know whome to contact .

Avoid like the plague.

Booked tickets for 19th July. On 18th July, following advice from National Rail not to travel due to the heatwave, I emailed asking for a full refund. To this day and despite further emails, I have received no response whatsoever. There is no facility to call them or escalate this. They are not on Twitter so I can't reach them there either. I've even resorted to emailing their so-called parent company, Atom and cc'ed in Independent Rail Retailers whom they are apparently a proud member of: I have received nothing but the same wall of silence that others mention here. Avoid this company like the plague if you don't want to lose money. I'll certainly be continuing to spread the word.

For the sake of accuracy, contrary to the inference by TrainTickets.com in their reply, all my correspondence was sent from the same email address with which I booked my tickets, along with the booking reference, travel date and my name. They have now issued a refund: nonetheless I will be directing my custom to alternative businesses who prioritise accountability and transparency.

Super Support Team

Website experience good; but resulting convoluted seating reservations made us reconsider our route. The support team were SO helpful in rearranging our planned journey; overall experience was excellent.

DO NOT USE!

I brought tickets costing over a hundred pounds from this site. My mistake, I had booked the wrong date, a week before I should of booked. I emailed the company and explained my mistake, they replied straight away to say if I booked the same journey a week later and sent the booking reference they would fully refund the first lot of tickets. I was impressed initially by the quick response and saying they would fully refund my tickets. I went ahead and spent over a hundred pounds again on the correct tickets and emailed them straight away with my booking reference.
Now I am hit with a wall of silence!! I can’t afford to lose that amount of money as no one can at this moment in time with the cost of living.
Funny how the customer service is very quick to reply on my first query to go ahead and book again and I’ll get refunded. It’s been weeks of repeated emails and no response. This has put me into debt and I’m sure the fat cats of this company have no conscious as they sit back and enjoy their profits, shame on them.
THEIR INTENTION WAS OF COURSE FOR ME TO SPEND MORE MONEY AND THEN NOT REFUND.
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!
