Absolute terrible company not sure how…

Absolute terrible company not sure how they are still in business looking at the reviews.
They've cancelled my flights to disneyland with absolutely no explanation just decided that flight wasn't departing anymore. Gave me an alternative ridiculous flight time and date with doesn't coincide with my hotel booking. I explained I couldn't fly during the night due to my daughter's sleeping medication but they didn't care. They said if I wanted to change to a better flight time I have to pay extra!! But no refund offered for changing my flight to a cheaper night flight! Had to argue for my money back too they wanted to give it me on a credit note!! No thank you I'd never book a holiday with this company again what a shambles!!

If only I cld give a minus

If only I cld give a minus. Due to an incident on the incoming plane landed at 21.30 in Alicante involving yet another drunken passenger (why don’t they just ban alcohol on planes and airports) Our departing flight from Alicante (being that plane) due to take off at 22.30 was announced at 23.00 as delayed (which by then was pretty obvious) with no information as to why. Eventually by word of mouth through people going to the desk and hassling the solitary staff member (1 person on check in ???)on duty (this was a full plane with multiple families with kids + many wheelchair occupants when
we discovered the problem with the inbound plane it was clear that there was no flight
as the crew from the inbound plane were being interviewed by the police and then
their flying hours would be up + the Alicante night flight rules. As this must also have been clear
to the staff we could have been informed at 22.00 we would not be flying until the next day. thus giving people the chance for those that lived or had a holiday locally to go home and come back the next day, leaving only those from hotels. No announcement Finally,at 24.30 we were told the flight
was cancelled and told to go back through passport control pick up any luggage and go to arrivals, were not told where in arrivals we were to go and neither guided or accompanied. People just followed other people wandering around until we worked out it was the easy jet checkin desk. When we got to the checkin there was no staff we stood around for over 30 minutes before again the solitary staff member arrived, still no info, by this time it was 1 am nowhere open to get food for the kids just a vending machine for water, 3/4 of the plane were families with small children some (we were travelling with a 10+8 yr old) with babies, so the staff member was immediately mobbed by harassed parents trying to find out what the plan was. Sadly there was NO plan it was a total management cock up. The poor solitary member of couldn’t get hold of a manager (par for the course with easyJet, this was not my first cock up gig with them) so ran off. Eventually another staff member joined her and they finally told us what the source of the delay was and that they were trying to find hotel accommodation (obviously difficult to find in the early hours of the morning with the number of rooms necessary) and buses. They advised that they would prioritise the wheelchair/ assisted travel and families with children under 2 years (quite normal) They then disappeared again. No water or food was forthcoming bearing in mind the number of children nor were blankets offered to help settle the children on the floor. At approx 2 am we were informed they had so far only been able to obtain 30 rooms and two buses and that the buses would not be there until 3.45. There was of course a near riot. Still no water food or blankets offered. Next we were informed that we would take off at 10.20 am in the morning. Then that a bus would pick us up at 2.45 to take us to a hot 50;km away and pick us up at 8am to return to the airport. That breakfast would be provided. However still no water handed out. No information was given as to how 30 rooms had suddenly and miraculously could now fit the number of passengers wanting beds. At 3 am we were ushered outside for the bus, the bus arrived at 3.30….. we were the driven the 50 km to the hotel and arrived around 4.30 where the bus driver had to wake up the night porter who was obviously not expecting us. He then had to check everyone in (it was clear no list of passengers had been provided) one by one copying each passport and having us sign in and making key cards which took a huge amount of time, for us three adults 2 children it took over 10 minutes as he being the night receptionist was not used to checking people in ( the hotel was an out the way golf resort which had not yet fully open for the season hence having rooms available so it would be unusual to have early hours check ins) I would think to clear the queue would have taken an hour.
We were lucky we got 2.30 hours sleep before bus at 8am and try to get breakfast for the kids (one family’s room had no beds and were given fold ups - father slept on floor as large 6ft.4) No luck as the hotel only served breakfast from 8 am the hotel realised so did kindly makeup some food/drink bags for the kids. Incidents like this are not uncommon so why doesn’t easyJet have guidance/training for staff and some sort of a step by step backup plan in place to avoid such chaos and the poor staff getting harassed. Proper planning, a list of people with passport nos sent to hotel so they could be prepared. This is poor management. This was my 1st trip with easyJet in 16 yrs after my last disaster trip, needless to say we will not be using easyJet again.

I wasn’t happy at all

I wasn’t happy at all, expensive and if you pay a cabin luggage you should put it over your locker but ridiculous rules that anyone can put in your lockers. If only emirate flight can fly short haul flight i will never use this airline.

A win for us

I know Easyjet has a reputation when it comes to delays, cancellations, bad service, but honestly our recent experience was great. Both flights on time, staff helpful on the ground and in the air. We booked a package and the hotel was lovely, all of it at a very reasonable price. I did make an attempt to contact them two weeks before the trip and never received a response, but it wasn't an urgent matter so I didn't follow up.

Special Assistance

I booked Special Assistance for our trip to Tenerife and booked a wheelchair in the hold. I received an email today to say it would cost £20 each way a total of £40.
I have never been charged for my wheelchair with any airline. My husband phoned Special Assistance to complain and he was told it was not Easyjet that was charging for the wheelchair it was their carrier in Tenerife. The transfer to the resort was part of the package and thought the luggage was included but have now been told the wheelchair would be extra.

Rename yourselves STRESSJET please

Rename yourselves STRESSJET please. Why on earth do you set a default to 2 people when searching a flight and then make it horribly difficult to change to 1? Why can you not get through to a human being with a brain on your chat? No email support. You are hands down the WORST airline in the UK and I have travelled a LOT. I would give you minus 10 stars if I could.

Easyjet holiday bought through Hays…

Easyjet holiday bought through Hays travel but not as advertised, as building works ongoing..scaffolding/ crumbling balconies & to make matters worse contracted food poisoning on the 1st night there!! Hays travel passed the blame to Easyjet. Neither would take any responsibility for a hotel package which was "not fit for purpose".

Their latest trick.

Their latest trick.
Book early you get a good price.
Prices go up.
They DOWNgrade the hotel room saying the room you booked is no longer available (but it is)
Waste of time phoning, they want you to upgrade the room again (at a higher price obviously)
By the way....that's twice they've done it in the last 3 months with 2 separate holidays!
I've been a good customer over the years with many bookings but alas it looks like the end has finally come.
You've been warned.

Diversion trouble

On our journey back from Crete, we were aiming for Gatwick (where our car was parked) but due to 'staff issues' were diverted at the last minute to Luton. We were firstly told they were hoping for ground transport, but after landing we were told there was none & we had to make our own ongoing travel arrangements. In the end, due to my wife's slipped disc & weight of baggage, we hired an Uber to get us to Gatwick. I'm trying to get Easyjet to reimburse the cost & to consider the stress & hassle caused, but you may not be surprised to hear we're having trouble getting any compensation.

EasyJet are the worsest flight I have…

EasyJet are the worsest flight I have been on. Even though you book your cabin bags before hand they charged £200. And when I ask for a refund. They just ignore all the emails. I also had a disabled child in a wheelchair but they weren’t bothered. All they’re bothered about is scamming and robbing people at the Airport. Also they crew on the flight were more loud than the passengers. All I could hear is them laughing out loud when the passengers were trying to rest. I will not be flying with easyJet again after this experience as they are scammers and a bunch of ignorant and inconsiderate people.

Awful customer service

Landed at Manchester Airport early hours on the 17th June (absolute shambles of an airport) with two toddlers, had to walk to get luggage and buggy, buggy was not there! Have been trying to communicate with the customer service team for the past 3 months, after following all the steps with the airport lost and found process, then the 3rd party airlines work with and then finally with easyJet themselves, only to be asked the same questions over and over again or been completely ignored, they have lost my buggy essentially but won't do the right thing and just refund!!!

They Don’t Refund Your Money

Been waiting over two months for my flight cancellation refund. Shocking service every time I call they tell me 7-28 days. Horrendous. I will be taking the matter further once I get an eight week letter for my complaint.

First and last time using Easyjet

First and last time using Easyjet. They are the next Ryanair. I didn't know the process & thought I could take my hand luggage on. No, just a hand bag or rucksack. £50 one way even though I could have added the bags on BEFORE the gate closed! A 1 hour flight took 3 hours. Staff rude and on a power trip. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Easyjet, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Disgusting service.

Unbelievably bad Easyjet

Unbelievable. Our back flight with Easyjet to amsterdam (our home) yesterday (sunday night) at 19.35 got cancelled. After spending around 4 hours on the phone with customer service, they could book us the next day (today) via belfast to Amsterdam. We arrived in Belfast, where we had to wait 4 hours, and after checking in at the airport, staff told us we have a standby ticket.

Easyjet sold out their plane, put 10 other people as standby on it and also put us on this plane. We basicly flew to belfast because they told us, and they didnt tell us we did it for a standby ticket. So we might not even be able to go on the rebook plane to home.

easyJet left us stranded abroad TWICE…

easyJet left us stranded abroad TWICE with no money, food, clothing, hotel or way home. They turned off all methods of communication, didn’t answer phone lines and put the phone down on customers. They expected us to wait days or weeks in a foreign country with no amenities. They have no staff in the airports and will tell you to pay for your own expenses and claim back, which they will then deny. They have cost us thousands and haven’t been in touch with us at all. They’ve even blocked our social media comments.

Potential customers take this review as a warning to make sure you never use easyJet and always travel with a credit card and extra medication and clothing.

I am unable to write my full review due to length, but briefly easyJet cancelled our flights last minute and left us stuck with no food, water, accommodation or alternative flights. They expected us to pay thousands of pounds ourselves in the hopes that they may give the money back later- note the other reviews that explain their requests were then denied. If you didn’t have any money or means of buying a new ticket with another airline (not to mention supplies for yourself, a hotel, food, water, transport) then you were told it wasn’t their problem.

We were left dumped in Italy with no way home and no contact from easyJet at all. We paid £1500 to travel home via a different airport both in Italy and the U.K., and had to pay hundreds more in trains and transport back to our original airport again.
