Travelrefund was supporting me since…

Travelrefund was supporting me since the beginning of my claim vs the air company. In the first istance the company did not answer . TravelRefund continue to claim and at the end they were able to succed in the request. They were working behind the "scenes" really very hard.

Actually I would give zero

Actually I would give zero! stars. Using travelrefund.com to receive compensation from the airline didn't result in any progress. They keep sending messages that the airline didn*t respond...so nothing actually happens. In contrary..you give them personal information and they are not even able to maintain the data. Currently there was an email that they had an "IT breakdown" and your data...e-mail adress, contact information might have been accessed by some hackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a dissapointment!!!!!!!!!!!

SCAM

Case T20616
It's been almost a year since I applied for compensation, and even though the company received money from the airline a long time ago, they still haven't paid me anything back.

Also, before applying, I asked if it was okay to fill out one application with my co-passenger even though we have separate booking numbers, and I received a positive answer. Guess what? After a year of waiting, they said I should file a separate claim and probably wait another year.

Customer support is terrible, and I barely get any answers. I do not recommend this company since I haven't even received my compensation.

I haven't used travelrefund but the bad reviews about lack of support are usually a red flag , typical for companies who write their own good reviews.

Almost a year, no change

Almost a year, and all they did was send letters to the airline company (if what they said is even true, not like you get proof). This tells me that they're only willing to put in minimal effort. If that wins your money, great. If it doesn't, they won't bother pursuing the case at the court. It's actually infuriating that you can't even go to a different company, because if another company gets you a refund, Travelrefund will demand you pay for their share too. I really, really wish I didn't go with them. I will change the review if there's a positive update.

Be patient

It takes some time as the airlines are not fond of cooperating but after few months the refund has been transferred. The biggest drawback is time and they take a fee for their service. I would recommend.

Useless service

After 1 year and a few months, with this company having a lot of back and forth, saying that they were pursuing my case they ended up closing it today saying simply that they cannot pursue this case further and therefore I will not receive any compensation from the airliner although I am 100% entitled to it. I will pursue my compensation with another company and I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRAVEL REFUND.

It was a great experience as we finally receive monetary compensation for the plane company.
Travel refund is really reactive
The only thing is when I did the claim myself, the first offer of the plane company was higher than what we finally received.

BIG NO NO!

This is usless company! 11 months couldn't close simple case worth 400€, They were illude me for 11 months where people from my flight got money after 2 weeks of the flight. Airline didnt want to pay me money sending me to my legal representative which was gues who: TRAVELREFUND. After releasing them from being my representative due to not being able to collect my money, I got my money from the airline after 2 weeks. This is a BIG NO NO! for this company. They blocked my oryginal email as well so I couldn't post my opinion about them.

We take your feedback very serious and we have brought this to the right department, so we can prevent situations like these.

In some cases the airlines claim that we are not allowed to contact them, even though we have a valid Power of Attorney. What you must take into consideration is that the airlines are not always happy with the work we do and therefore they are often being unwilling and even non-cooperative. We also experience that the airlines drag the time and would rather lose money in a court case, than just aknowledging the passengers right to compensation and refunds.

We always do all we can to get your rights aknowledged and it is rarely, that a case is closed before 6 months. The airlines are bad at responding and have long paths to the correct department, which makes it harder for companies like us. Therefore we have the business model of no cure no pay, which puts us on the same side of the table, because we do not get paid before we get the compensation.

You expressed your unsatisfaction and was clear that you were unhappy with the way the airline had handled the claim. We as a company understand that we have to take the garbage for the airline not being cooperative and we do this gladly, when we choose to represent passengers in these fights.

We have never blocked your email and we are not capable of doing so, since the communication tools do not have this option.

We are happy that you got the compensation from the airline and we are saddened to see that our claims were not met by the airline, this happens sometimes.

We appreciate you taking the time to make a review, since we always do out utmost best to deliver a great service. We are also aware that not all passengers will be as happy with our services, despite our efficient and professional work.

When you file a claim with us, we firstly have to evaluate all the documents you provide, so we can draft a claim for the airline. The airline is then given a fair deadline to investigate the claim and then we hopefully receive an answer to the claim, within a couple of months the latest. We are persistent in getting your rights aknowledged and that is why we have established a firm procedure, so we are always on top with contacting the airline on your behalf if they do not react within the given timeline.

A normal timeframe in these cases can vary from 3 months to several years, depending on the situation and therefore we are rather proud of getting your entitled compensation in only 4 months.

We appreciate your feedback and hope that the airlines will soon tighten up their processes, so that all passengers can get a resolvesd case within 4 months.

Trustworthy and effective

TravelRefund did a great job, securing my compensation from an airline which was rather resistant in the matter. Two other companies which I tried before failed at that.
