We eat in the restaurant at least once a month usually for coffee and cake on a Saturday afternoon. The coffee is good and the cakes are awesome . Today we attended 1540hrs asked if seat was available offered choice of sofa or table lovely service cake and coffee delivers to the table. As soon as we started to eat the cake we were informed the caffe was closing at 1600hrs (usually it’s 1700) this left us with eight mins to eat and leave. We rushed as best we could, but the experience had been spoiled by time pressure. This instance has left us disappointed as there were no notices up in the caffe nor were we informed of the change in closing time when we enquired about being seated nor when the food arrived. I feel conned and tricked as would have asked for the food to go or gone elsewhere. When mentioning this to the young lady on the till taking payment I received a dismissive I’m sorry to hear that no explanation nor sincerity expressed by employee.
At the moment feel like never visiting again.

Beautiful free range chicken legs at a very good price, all nicely packed

Fabulous meat especially the beef (Ruby red) and lamb at great prices. For this quality and provenance normally you would pay 50% more. I can't recommend highly enough plus they are jolly nice people.

Don't buy substandard meat from supermarkets buy from TPP instead

We ordered fillet steak at half the price of another local butcher for a beef wellington. No complaints, was very nice and immediately available when we called to collect it.

I bought a cake for both of my children which was bought to the table after we had finished dinner, it was lovely to look at and delicious to eat and enough for all of us to take home as extra to eat later. There was 9 of us in total

A variety of goods ordered, some fresh foods, others for gifts as well as home consumption. Fresh and good quality food, all were packed carefully in a box which was delivered by a pleasant person and at the time requested.

I can never normally be bothered to leave reviews but we ordered some party food online and collected it on the way to my Mother's 60th.

The food and service were both exceptional! So easy to order and choose a collection date, advice was given over the phone on GF options and totally adorable service when we arrived to collect it.
Definitely doing that in future! No more chained to the oven for me!

As alway excellent service and quality food

I ordered a voucher for my mum for mother's day and it arrived quickly. They only thing was it didn't come with an envelope for me to give to her so had to find one at home. That being said she was thrilled with it and is looking forward to visiting for lunch soon.

Living locally, we’ve popped in many times to buy produce, have coffee and cakes and the occasional lunch. We’ve never been disappointed.

Good it was usable for anything on sale at Tre Pol Pen.
The gift card was well used by recipient. Only downside, it wasn't provided with an envelope.

I bought gift vouchers on the 9th Dec, to be delivered on the 15th Dec. I understand due to the royal mail strikes delivery was delayed and i received them on the 30th Dec. But on closer inspection one was dated 30thNov, which wasn’t my purchase, and i feel slightly short changed. I suggest the option of digital vouchers should be available to download and print at home.

Ordered some festive goodies. All items were ready and waiting for collection as emailed, service was immediate and everything of excellent quality. Good value for money. Thank you!

Bought our Christmas meat and a deli gift hamper through Tre, Pol & Pen's online shop. When I went to the farm shop to collect on the prearranged day, the hamper was not made up and they tried to give the deli items to me in an old mushroom crate! When queried, they did (although rather begrudgingly) make it into a hamper which looked nice, but their attitude was not the best. The meat I had ordered was 200g under the weight that I had paid for online. I appreciate that joints of meat come in different shapes and sizes but surely as this was "butchered to order" the weight would be what I requested and what I had paid for? On the plus side, the farm shop is set out lovely and the lamb we ordered was lovely and tender. The beef however was tasteless and tough. I am a chef so I am very experienced in cooking different meats. There was also an item to be refunded and I still have not received the refund. Overall, I am disappointed with my experience here.

Lovely piece of Ham for Christmas plus loads of little extras.
