This was our first trip into Europe on a train. Having always flown we planned to try the trains. We came across Trip Me Up after bumping into an old friend who had just returned from a trip - so we thought - why not"

The whole trip was brilliant!
To start with the trip went like clockwork - all the timings were perfect from being collected to being dropped off. All the trains were spot on time and the scenery as we rode around was spectacular. it was so much more fun than waiting at a airport. We crammed a lot in and yes we were tired at the end of our 12 day break - but we DID so much and we did not have to organise a thing !

Favourite bits - the 2CV ride around Paris - brilliant
Mount Pilatus - the Golden round trip - we had wonderful weather which made this trip spectacular
Bernina Express - just beautiful

I thoroughly recommend 'Trip Me Up' and we are already looking at the Spanish trip for next year

We have just returned from a wonderful rail trip in Europe, superbly organised by Suzie at Trip Me Up. Every aspect of the travel arrangements worked brilliantly. The customer service was excellent from first contact through to the holiday itself and whilst we were away. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had.
The face to face, online pre-holiday briefing was so helpful and the email with day by day details made it flow smoothly. All the train times, taxis, excursions, hotels and seat reservations worked like a Swiss watch. The inter rail app was really straightforward and easy to use. Each hotel, chosen by Suzie, was perfect and the luxury apartment in Milan was amazing. It was a great experience and one which we will treasure for years. We are already thinking of where we will travel next and it will be by train and we will definitely ask Trip Me Up to make all the arrangements. We loved it and thank you.

Suzie was recommended by a friend who had done the Europe trip having a fantastic adventure. Suzie prepared a programme of events and options for the full trip including hotels, the itinerary was perfect with a great balance of travel and time to explore each city.
All information was given in a clear and supportive way, especially fantastic for us as we were novices in terms of using the inter rail app. We were supported every step of the way from booking to returning home.
Suzie had a video call with us before we went and helped us navigate through the process.
I would recommend everyone to take the opportunity to experience one of these holidays and recommend Suzie without hesitation!

From start to finish the holiday was perfect. The planning and the attention to detail was perfect.

The inter rail pass was perfect for all our train travel so easy to use with links by day of times and travel.
All the hotels were of a great standard and close to train station so no need to worry about taxis .
Hotel Mona in Montreux what a location with tremendous lake views, good restaurant, and the bonus of mooring to use paddle boards free of charge, and motor boats at a good discount.
Grindlewald in the alps again great location, scenery and view of the Eiger incredible, then followed up with a trip up the Jungfrau stunning.
Hotel Grindlewalderhof cosy hotel perfect with friendly check in team.
Next Lucerne beautiful town on the lake very elegant, lots of nice cafes easy to walk around.
Boat trip with trip up Mount Pilatus perfect.
Bernina express followed with scenery like no other wow. Grateful to Suzie who persuaded us not to use the actual Bernina express train as the normal train used same track and traveling first class we have far more room to move around and admire the views.
Lugano who would have guessed such a beautiful town again on the lake. Beautiful hotel Continental Parkhotel with amazing views, and lovely pool.
Finally Strasbourg was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the old town is like living in history .
All travel was first class which was worth every pennny, Suzie also arranged all the trips which were all worth doing.
Sorry it had to come to an end .

Didn't think we'd ever do it - getting too old and looked like too much hard work planning and arranging - and anyway what is this thing called interrail pass? Well thank you Suzie - what a wonderful seamless awesome experience - Paris, Montreux, Milan, Torino, Lucerne, and Strasbourg.
But lets be honest - I have mobility issues and walk with two sticks - and one broke in MilanoCentrale - don't know how but it made it a lot harder for us. And railway carriages are not consistent in access - some have large gap from the platform and very high steps, some are paralell with the platform and have extenders to bridge the gap.
We travelled with a backpack and a small 360 turn suitcase each - and that was more than enough - oh, and disposable knickers for both of us made it easy as well.
Hotels were great - especially Mona in Montreux (waiters got to know our name), Anderson in Milan - staff took us out the step free access via the admin office, Terra in Tirano - a lovely bowl of cherries in reception, and Tandem in Strasbourg with its bicycling theme and two rescued budgerigars.
But its the alps we will remember and the wonderful engineering of cogwheel railways, corkscrew turns, and 48 degree inclination as we climbed.
This was a bucketlist trip of a lifetime - we became much more aware of our limitations (particularly mine) - would we do it again if we knew what we know now? Prossibly (I know thats a get out) but its a one and done. Thanks again Suzie.

We did the European capitals trip which Suzie redesigned for us as we had already done Munich & Paris , so she changed it to an overnight sleeper Vienna to Brussels. Excellent trip , the hotels in each city were well located for the railway station and the local sights . Suzie organised walking tours in each city which we really enjoyed as they were so informative.Our highlight had to be the meal at Berlin’s TV tower which was four courses with a different wine with each course and we were able to stay in our seats to watch the sunset from the revolving restaurant , such a treat . We also saw the Lippanzer horses at the Spanish riding school in Vienna which was a special way to round off our trip This is our second trip with Trip Me Up and we ll certainly be doing another one.

We travelled around Northern Italy, France and Switzerland following the trip put together by Suzie and her team!
We were very impressed with the smooth way it was planned for us with tickets that needed to be paper were emailed to us to print, we also were pointed towards the Interail Rail planner app which had all rail trips already installed for us to use, easy peasy!
We did and saw things on this trip that we would have never thought to do ourselves, the hotels were as described and convenient locations close to the railway station.
We were very impressed with the whole experience from start to finish at our local railway station!
Doing the tour by rail was so easy and just find your carriage sit in your seats and relax watching some stunning views through mountains, along lakes and beautiful landscapes.
We will book another tour next year, try another route perhaps!

If you want a bespoke holiday, this is the company to use. From start to finish Suzie was upfront about the cost, what type of trip and excursions. If there was anything I wanted to change she would sort it out for me. Everything is organised and a couple of weeks before the planned holiday Suzie arranges a zoom call to go through the train app and all the finer details. We had an amazing time without the headache of what train or hotel we had to book, yes of course this comes at a cost, but in my opinion it was well worth it. Some of the tours or planned events that Suzie arranged were brilliant, there was a classical music concert in Vienna, a Citroen tour of some Paris famous landmarks, a cheese and wine tasting which was so much fun. We had an issue we one of the connecting train journeys and Suzie was on hand within minutes of contacting her to sort it out for us and reschedule the booked event. I can highly recommend trip me up you won’t be disappointed.

Great and detailed itinerary from them. If we had questions during our trip they came back quickly with answers.

My friend and I had the most amazing and memorable holiday with Trip Me Up traveling through France Italy and Switzerland in May of this year 2026.Suzie expertly organised the whole holiday and I will have no hesitation in letting Suzie organise our next railway adventure.

From the first time we showed an intrest i cannot fault Suzie at all,when we spoke on the phone she was so confident in what she was talking about,and when it came to the time for the team chat and give us our final instructions it was so organised and on our phone.Everything was all layed out day by day and it could not have being made any simpler and easy to follow.Our whole trip was made a lot more relaxing knowing that we had a very good person in Suzie and when we had a train delay through no fault of hers she had a new set of tickets sent to our phone with in 5 minutes.All our accomadation was excellent with all hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Two main things for us was 1 the stunning views on the Golden Pass ,our pictures did not do the scenery justice it was stunning ,and secondley was the whole set up and a well organised trip made so by Suzie and her company.We will without doubt be looking at another trip in the future with Trip_me _up and Suzie.We have had some of our friends wanting details of our trip and there is only one Trip me up ,well done Suzie on helping us enjoy our first ever train holiday ,thank you from Linda & Dave .

Booking process easy and Suzie responded quickly with any queries. Trains ran like clock work and the hotels were excellent and convenience for stations was spot on. All tours booked by Suzie were unique and enjoyable. Would highly recommend Suzie and would not hesitate to book through her company in the future.

It was my wife's 60th birthday, this year, and we felt we wanted to do something special, something different.
We saw "Trip me up", on 'Facebook' and decided to investigate.
We contacted the company and "Suzi", the company's owner sent us all the details of how the holiday package, worked.
These train holidays are "Bespoke" trips across Europe, you do them yourselves, using an App to move from one place to the next.
'Trip me up' has several itineraries and you can pick where you want to go, what star rating hotels you want to stay in, and any excursions you might like to try.
We chose to go to France and Switzerland, and what a wonderful time we had.
Your trip is explained, and how you use the App, in a mutually agreed "Zoom" meeting, with 'Suzi', and then away you go.
If you travel by train, regularly, and even if you don't, this holiday is really easy to negotiate, all your train times are on the App, you stay in hotels, very close to your station, so no having to find taxis to travel miles, you just walk to your accommodation.
You choose what to do, where you stay, if you want to try something, 'Suzi' can set this up, before you go, it really is that easy.
We had a real adventure. We were, a little apprehensive as to how we'd get on, but we had no issues, and 'Suzi' is just a "Whatsapp" message, away, if you have a problem.
We loved every minute and will certainly do this, again, in the future.
So, if you're looking for a train holiday, through Europe, don't want to be tied down by group holidays, and being shunted around by "Reps", try 'Trip me up', trust us, you'll love every second.

Great planning and support initially then great trains and hotels

Detailed planning by Suzy meant a slick and enjoyable trip . Everything was good quality comfortable and as advertised.
No disappointments no let downs . We would recommend the trip .

I would give it ten stars if I could what a brilliant holiday well planned and thought out excellent planning with the trains from the moment we stepped on board out first train we had excellent service and customer care off suzie and trip me up we stayed at beautiful hotels throughout the trip fantastic views and scenery throughout the trip and especially through the alps and mount rigi all excursion’s were amazing words cannot express how good it was suzie was amazing and will be booking again with trip me up if you want a brilliant and wonderful holiday book with trip me up we will be thank you suzie

Our trip by train to Montreux,Lucerne and Strasbourg was brilliant, well planned stress free. With a good choice of hotels conveniently situated to the stations. Also knowing that Suzie was always available for advise was reassuring to us as we had not travelled this sort of holiday before. Would definitely use Tripmeup again.

This was our first time travelling solo by train in Europe. Fabulous experience from start to finish. Susie was brilliant organising our trip and we had a video call prior to departure giving us really helpful insider information (even what side of the train to sit on for the best views). Hotels and trips were first class and Susie was available to help with any problems but none arose. We are already talking about our next trip.

Recently returned from an eight day rail trip through France and Switzerland. Suzie from Tripmeup was amazing with superb communication from start to finish.
We had a WhatsApp call approximately 10 days beforehand to go through the finer details and an opportunity to ask any questions.
We were delayed arriving in Paris and a bit concerned we would miss our Citroen city tour however with good communication with Suzie and Nico our lovely guide all went smoothly albeit a little late.
All travel was first class and we were very happy with the choice of hotels that Suzie suggested. Particular with the wonderful views of the lakes and mountains in Switzerland. The scenery was breathtaking especially on the Golden Pass.
It was reassuring knowing we could contact Suzie if we had any concerns. Nothing was too much trouble, would definitely book with Tripmeup again. Thank you Suzie
