Over the past year I've made several purchases and I've never been disappointed. I would really recommend this to any fish enthusiast! The fish are always just as described, good quality and healthy, and the staff are extremely helpful, responding quickly. Overall Tropco is very reliable, never once had to worry about a package.

We decided to set up a fish tank in December. I heard about the Nitrico goop in a magazine and I have been thrilled with the result. The goop arrived on time and we were able to introduce the fish immediately. It's nearly 6 weeks now. The fish are all doing well and the nitrite level is zero. I was sceptical about the claims but it seems to be working perfectly

This company is so good at what it does it feels like your being pranked. Maybe thats because other companies are so bad now but either way, they have excellent customer service. I called to ask about sex ratio of fish and the lady actually called down to the floor to check, great! they had a rare fish and the sex ratios were perfect! amazing. then the postage arrived on day in the morning, great! then the packaging was large so that the box couldnt be thrown about, thoughtful! the heat packs were fine and there was a spare bag again to make the delivery smoother for the fish. this should be your go to for buying tropical fish.

This is the second time I have ordered from Tropco.
Taken delivery this morning of 5 Ember Tetras to go with my 9 I received from the same company back in November 2021 (I originally had 10 but unfortunately lost one a couple of months ago)All very healthy and pally with their new mates up in Yorkshire.
I also received my male Crowntail Betta today. He far exceeded all my expectations and is absolutely stunning. I love him to bits! I gave a brief description of what I would like upon ordering and the staff nailed it! Thank you all so much. You deserve a pay rise! 😂

I bought some Nitrico after having a sudden spike in Nitrites.
It arrived on Thursday, followed all the instructions and also had a really informative conversation with a gentleman who works for the company.
Checked ammonia level at nine thirty that evening and it was zero.
Checked all water parameters the following morning and everything perfect.
This stuff is amazing and I am relieved that my fish are now all safe.

Bought their ‘goop’ after struggling with total ammonia for a few weeks. Tried EVERYTHING - adding additional (mature) filters, water changes at all kinds of frequencies and amounts, plus a host of different ‘chemicals’. It was just not budging, despite other parameters being totally fine. I was at my wits end, ready to rehome my precious fish and give up the hobby.

Enter the goop - added it to my filter per the instructional leaflet. Didn’t see much change that night, even with a partial water change. Came home from the work the next day to find my total ammonia had dropped from 1-2ppm to ZERO! I ran the test five times, in addition to testing my liquid ammonia, to check the test kit wasn’t broken and I wasn’t missing anything. Yet the tank water was not showing a single trace of ammonia! Phrase ‘lifesavers’ feels very appropriate!!

Honestly cannot recommend they’re goop enough - be that for new tanks, or (like mine), crashed tanks. Not one to leave reviews generally but this stuff is incredible. Thank you!!!

Ordered fish a few days ago. I was impressed with their communication. Given the cold temperatures they are not shipping fish until the weather warms again on Tuesday. Im so pleased they have put the fish welfare ahead of them making money and risking the lives of my new little friends. I cant wait to get them on the 20th.

Fantastic experience at Tropco, a great place to take in a tone of baby fish for an exchange! Staff really approachable and polite! Never had any problems with fish!

I have waited 2 weeks before writing for this review. I was aprehensive about buying fish to be delivered and was almost scared to open the box when it arrived. However my anxiety was a waste of time. The fish arrived extremely well pack with heat packs. We have lost 2 fish after a week but to be fair even buying them in the shop previously this has happened. We were also given a couple of extra fish so have the amount we paid for. We aren't to bothered about the size of the fish as we like to see them grow and flourish. we have had out fish now more than 2 weeks and they are happy and healthy. We are very impressed and will use Tropco again and recommend.

Was really pleased with fish and delivery service, bought 16 fish in total to fill a new tank. Noticed some white spots on tetras thought they were just air bubbles, now one of my otocinclus’s is covered head to tail in spots and is barely moving so I assume my entire tank will now get this. Spent over £100 on my fish so will be really disappointed if something happens to them

Wow, what can I say, Tropco and the team working there are nothing short of sensational. I'm a novice in fish keeping so I've needed a lot of help and support and Beth has always been on hand to provide direction and advice. I've messed her about a fair bit but she's always patient with me and provides spot on advice. They understand I'm a novice and I've learnt and awful lot from Beth and the team in a short space of time and my confidence is increasing due to their patience and advice. They have a fantastic stock of fish to choose from and not to mention the gloop......anyone who hasn't tried it is missing out. On the odd occasion a fish hasn't made the journey, and this isn't often, they are fast to offer replacements. Fantastic customer service and an awesome fish farm. Thanks guys.

Won't be ordering again,orders 4x Oscar's wild Oscar meant to be 4-5cm was about 2cm and was eaten immediately by the other Oscar's 12.95 down the pan and another Oscar was meant to be super red Oscar costing 25.95 it's a much cheaper Oscar so scammed.up date emailed me saying he personally been check size and basically I'm wrong according to him and the expensive Oscar just need to change its colour,I got a Oscar not a chameleon.update full refund being returned so I will change my rating when received.updste refunded money so removed 1xstar

This entirely blew me away I've been to several lfs stores and these fish were happier and healthier they have settled into the groups in less than a day. they eat well and have no signs of anything like my last batch of barbs that were riddled with parasites and took 6 months to get to a healthy place from a store I went to. they arrived in good time well packed and fairly stress-free. EDIT- I THINK YOU HAVE THE WRONG JOANNE? I HAVE NOT HAD A REDUND AND IF YOU READ MY REVIEW THEN YOU WILL SEE THE ORDER YOU JUST DESCRIBED IS NOT MINE? MY ORDER NUMBER IS 83858. The fish came well packaged, however they were not the correct fish, I ordered 2 rainbow and one blue gourami, I was sent 2 blue and one rainbow. I have emailed asking about this and sent photos asking for them to confirm the breeds, unfortunately I did not capture the colour properly due to lighting, I was told I had the correct fish and the difference in colouring was due to receiving females, I can see the fish colouring in person so I know this is wrong, I sent more photos which were ignored, I also asked how they were sexing the gourami as I was under the impression it was done by fin on this breed, I was again ignored. You are quick to take my money but the after sales care is very poor. I have given you over a month to reply before I leave this review. This is a shame as the quality of fish is good, just the wrong fish sent, I have now had the breeds confirmed by 2 reputable aquarists.

never known a company to have the level of customer service, they are the A.TEAM, the quality of the fish are 1st rate, they come well care for, well packaged, they also have a 7 day guarantee with there fish, I have bought several times from them and have plans to do so again.

Ordered corydoras and guppies , beautiful fish and would highly recommend , however would not recommend the delivery service, the absolute melt was carrying the box out of his van wrong way round which clearly stated this way up and clearly says on box there was fish in it, this is not tropcos fault just the delivery service,

Tropco goop! Omg this stuff is amazing! Total game changer!.
Added it to my crashed tank and within 3 hours all parameters normal!.
I'm gobsmacked to be honest.
24 hours later and all is brilliant, no massive water change needed! It's brilliant..... totally brilliant!
