2 stars only. The hair is ok. Hair transplant seems to be growing after 6months. But i also paid for stem cell which doesnt seem to be working on the crown area. Also got my whole teeth done with crowns but i have had some teeth chipping off. I PAID botox for my jaws to relax the muscles but they forgot aboit it i guess. They were to focus on selling me more things. Also free lazer hair therapy but never got that either. Hotel was not the greatest either. They promised to send me back money for the botox on my jaw and a free gift but they still have not refunded me those. Overall hair is ok. Teeth is ok.

My husband and I reached out to Turkeyana via WhatsApp and got a quick response shortly after from Bilal. Bilal assisted us in getting all the necessary information about the surgery we were interested in. He was very helpful and ensured all our questions are answered. We arranged our transportation and accommodation for our stay in Istanbul. From the moment we arrived to Istanbul, our trip and procedures went very smoothly. Even after surgery, Bilal was responsive about any questions or concerns we had. We have had nothing but a great experience and will for sure book Turkeyana through Bilal for any future surgeries.

I contacted the clinic through their website. They immediately got in contact with me, gave me all the information. The process for my appointments went very quickly and smooth.
My contact person Bilal made all the arrangements for my trip to Istanbul and was very quick to guide me around for the whole process. Thank you for that.
The staff at the clinic is very friendly and they all do well to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They take good care of their patients.

Good for what it is
Some background:
I chose Turkeyana based on the recommendation of a colleague that used them recently and I compared them to another personal recommendation. I ultimately chose them because of their proper process, better value and they were professional and flexible in our initial interactions. I travelled from the UK.
What they did well:
-From what I can tell, the procedure has gone well, although time will be needed to tell.
-The quality of the pickups/transfers and communication about the transfers was perfect. The transportation crew were always on time, safe drivers and friendly. The hotel I was put up in was also adequate and the food options and room service were good.
-The medial staff and translators were very friendly and clearly cared about their work.
-The clinic has a polished sense about it. It looked and felt professional.
What I wish I'd known:
-The process of administering the anaesthesia was incredibly painful, but after that there wasn't any more pain.
-It would appear that none of the team performing my procedures were accredited proper doctors. This may matter to some people, but the person leading my procedure said she had done this 6 days a week, twice a day for 7 years.
-Since you have to sleep on your back and slightly sitting up for several nights after the procedure, sleep was a problem.
-For the first 2 nights, my head leaked through the bandages, so using towel would have saved some hotel pillows.
-Taking USD out of a Turkish ATM attracts at 7% charge, even if it's a US bank account; paying with a card at the clinic attracts a 10% charge.
What they could have done better:
-The use of WhatsApp chat for their communications isn't terribly helpful. Messages go unread or unacknowledged for days. In my view, this is unacceptable in a medical setting.
-Despite lots of photos, they underestimated the number of grafts I'd need, almost doubling that when I arrived at the clinic and thus escalating the costs significantly. This should have been noticed during the initial quote. Although the additional cost was very unwelcome, they were able to accommodate the additional day of surgery the next day so as not to disrupt my flight schedules or necessitate another trip.
-On the final day, there was a very hard sell for more than $1000 in products. Between this and the escalated cost of the grafts, it felt a little too sales-orientated.
-They don't always follow through on their commitments, presumably when you ask for something outside of their normal process. I'd asked for things like a profile of the team performing my procedure in advance and my medical file. I still haven't received a copy of my medical file.

Pathetic customer service
Pathetic customer service. I am from Canada and wanted detailed discussion over phone before finalizing my Hair transplant surgery with them and for that I booked an appointment for Sunday 18th.Mar. 12 pm (Vancouver time). They assured me also that their representative will call me. A days before I repeatedly sent them messages to reconfirm if they are going to call me up as per scheduled time or not. And yesterday 18th.Mar I waited for more than 4 hrs for their call but neither they called me nor responded to my messages too. Because of that I wasted my time and money. A clinic/hospital which has such kind of casual approach and poor customer service before even booking or finalizing the surgery, how can I expect a great experience and safety with such clinics?? Pl be careful with such clinics!!

Amazing…
First I would love to thank Mohammed Fahimi for all the information he gave to me before I even booked. This is what led me to booking a flight from New York to Turkey. When I got there I was transported from the airport to the 5 star hotel that the clinic works with. I went into my consultation excited and was very pleased to know that I would get max graphs for my hair transplant and hotel stay included for only $2800. The surgery went amazing and the technicians were very professional and great at what they do. I then went back for my wash two days later and again nothing but kindness and professionalism. Every trip from hotel to clinic and clinic to hotel you are transported by the clinics drivers and it’s so nice. I highly recommend this place for anybody looking into hair transplants!
