Complaint Regarding the Unacceptable Treatment of My Dog at Jakarta Airport

To the attention of Turkish Airlines Customer Service,

I am writing to express my immense disappointment and profound indignation regarding the unacceptable treatment my dog, Sparte, and I experienced during my recent journey from Jakarta Airport.

On the day of my flight, your airline refused to allow my dog to board, without providing a valid reason or offering any alternative solution. This left me in an unbearable situation, forcing me to abandon Sparte at the airport in order to continue my journey. This moment was not only emotionally devastating but also deeply traumatic for my dog, who was left in conditions I can only imagine.

Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the situation on-site, your staff demonstrated neither compassion nor assistance. This lack of basic human consideration is incomprehensible, especially since I had taken care to comply with all requirements for the transportation of animals, as per your airline’s guidelines.

I would like to emphasize that Sparte is not just a pet; he is an integral part of my family. The lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by Turkish Airlines in this matter is unacceptable for an airline that claims to be reputable.

I demand a clear explanation of the reasons behind this situation, as well as appropriate compensation for the emotional and logistical consequences it has caused. Additionally, I urge you to urgently review your practices regarding animal transportation to ensure that no other passenger experiences such a traumatic event.

An incompetent, disappointing company. I advise you not! This kind of company must be banned. They refused to mount a dog and they left him in front of the airport, he spent the night in front of it.. no scruples!

Turkish Airlines Abandoned My Dog!

I am deeply disappointed with Turkish Airlines. During a recent trip, my dog, who was supposed to travel in the cargo hold, was left stranded at the airport for no apparent reason. Despite my repeated calls and efforts to resolve the issue, the staff was utterly incompetent and unhelpful.

There was no clear communication, no proper assistance, and my dog was left stuck for hours, stressed, without access to water or proper care. This is unacceptable and cruel treatment of an animal.

Traveling with this airline is already stressful, but their negligence makes it unbearable. I strongly advise against flying with Turkish Airlines if you’re traveling with pets.

Still waiting for an urgent response, but I’m not expecting much given their lack of care.

Sparte dog is lock in Jakarta - A disgrace for Turkish Airlines !!!!

This is unacceptable! Leaving a dog alone—that’s what Turkish Airlines did after refusing Sparte’s boarding at the last minute, without any valid reason.

The result? Sparte is now abandoned in Jakarta, outside, without protection, forced to spend the night without his owner or any assistance.

How can an airline act so irresponsibly? This is not only unprofessional but also completely unethical. Have you considered the consequences of leaving a living being alone?

I strongly advise against using this airline, especially if you are traveling with a pet. Turkish Airlines must be held accountable for this unacceptable act and urgently review its practices

Spart Dog is Lock in Jakarta

My experience with Turkish Airlines was an absolute disaster! The staff were completely useless and couldn't care less about the passengers' concerns. It was infuriating how the flight was delayed over and over again without a single proper explanation. The complete lack of communication was beyond frustrating—it was insulting.

But the most outrageous part? How they treated my dog. My dog was supposed to be transported safely, yet these incompetent people left him stranded in Jakarta for hours, without proper care or attention. This is beyond negligence—it's cruel and unforgivable!

For an airline that pretends to have a good reputation, this was a total nightmare. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again, and I urge anyone who cares about their pets—or basic decency, for that matter—to stay far away from this terrible airline!

Don’t ever take this company

SHAME

I am deeply disappointed with Turkish Airlines' customer service. Despite their reputation as a global airline, they refused to allow my dog to board the flight. This lack of flexibility and compassion for travelers with pets is unacceptable. To make matters worse, "Sparte dog is lock in Jakarta," leaving me stranded and heartbroken over the situation. I expected better from such a well-established company and hope they reconsider their policies to better accommodate passengers with pets in the future.
