a CA, who took a charge of my seat became very unhappy and rude since I ordered something other than what was recommended by the CA.
I just asked for a smoothie on the drink list at the breakfast even though I was offered tea, then their face turned angry. and so on.
by the end of the flight, they did not even respond to me.
earphone jack socket on the seat was poor connection, and headphones I plugged in didn't end up with stereo sound.

Turkish Airlines, the worst company ever
I am flying almost every week for my business, so I can really judge how bad this company is.. I never been treat like this with another flying company. My several experience with Turkish Airlines were always catastrophic. I will not go through every details because it will be too long but my last one is that I was overbooked because they sell more seat than passagers who bough a ticket.. Unfortunately this can be done sometimes by company, However this happen very regularly (to not said everytime) and with Turkish Airlines. I knew that we was 11 persons taking the same flight in the same case.
However, this not finished as bad experience. Once I was in the checking, the person over there just send me to the general front desk (at this time the person in the checking never told me the reason why I am going there, even if I asked, but I understood that something went wrong).
Once at this general front desk, the first person there just didn't care about the customer.. he even not make any effort to check the possible solution.. At this time, I asked to talk with his manager. The new person was not better.. However, he took time to find another solution, even if the solution was limited.. They proposed me another flight on the next day early in the morning or an another destination. Like If could stop everywhere without trouble! I proposed them lot of solution has connection flights, as taking another company, switching airport,etc.. Because I was supposed to take another flight on the next day for another business trip, So I asked them to take this in consideration, but they didn't care.. Anyway, I took the flight for next day (which make me in big difficulties). Then, the guy told me that I was sent to an hotel 5 stars at Istanbul ( so I was thinking woa at least it will be good hotel experience). However the hotel was 2h far from Istanbul and 1h far from the airport and the hotel seemed to be occupied only by trukish airlines passengers who was in trouble like me (Can you imagine they have partnership with an hotel to cover all this mistake made turkish airlines, big business for the hotel and the company). Off course the 5 stars hotel was definitely not :) more like 3 stars close to 4 (due to some service). I don't know how they managed to get 5 stars haha,, I think they do what they want, like a mafia.
So wake up at 2a.m to take my flight at 7h.. this managed by shuttle so didn't get choice to choose my time.
Once I arrived to the front desk I asked if I can hold my luggage as it was proposed to me the previous day with the manager at the general front desk. However the person was smiling at me and told me I didn't pay for this service.. Anyway looks like the communication is not elaborated between employees or they promise something which is not possible..

I used to like traveling with this airline. But my recent experience with them was horrendous. You will not be compensated appropriately although it was their fault. Better off trying other airline than this one

Hi. I'm really dissapointed with the cancellation, I spend more then two hours on the line today with your customer service. The first two ladys i talked with had a rely bad phone connection and wanted to hang up on me several times, as they said they where not allowed to have longer calls, the first one told me that there was avability on 28 from copenhagen, the next one told me there was no. The third woman, was the most helpfull and the line went through clear, but she could not book me either on 28, due to class difference and availability. I tried to find a new ticket to Zanzibar, i was very flexible, to look for a ticket between 25-29 december. I offered to travel from other airports then billund as copenhagen or hamburg, first i saw a ticket avialable on 28 dec from copenhagen, then suddenly the lady told me she could not confirm it, after i spend one hour with her on the phone, she send me to another lady who tried to help me, but was impossible to find flights, and they all had huge lay overs in istanbul, with no hotel guarantee. The hotel guarantee with more then 20 hours layover is only by availability, thats to big a risk to take when travelling with young kids, i choosed carefullly my first connection thinking about there comfort. I thougth when turkish airline cancel your ticket you would get right to book a new one, even on more exspensive classes if your class is not available, Now im put on hold for a seat on 26 december, and i was told to wait a week and pray that me and my kids will get a space. I'm so sade and disapointed, that my flight gets cancelled without reason and without proper alternativs. Please help me find a reasonable outbond flight between 25-29 dec, to zanzibar from either billund or copenhagen, keep in mind i have 2 kids, and we can not stay in an airport for 20 hours without guarntee of a hotel. the minimum would be to add another flight for your customers, or a free upgrade to another class so we can countinue our long planned travels. Now i'm on hold list for a flight the 26dec, I can only be on hold one one connection, and the lady told me to wait for an unknown period of time, while i risk the other dates to become full. My flight was canceled and I wasn't informed by any mean ... WORST airline and bad customer service.
Fly with another airline if you can
I've never had issues with the flights themselves except for one cancelation but that was during COVID.
However, if you have any issues with your ticket such as you are owed a refund for a canceled flight, you are screwed. Turkish will do everything possible to keep your money. At first I thought it was just incompetence. But after dealing with a single issue for 18months, I've realized it is all deliberate. I canceled a flight which was due a cash refund. Turkish issued a voucher instead, but for the wrong amount. It took 6 months to get that corrected. A new voucher was issued, but I later discovered the new voucher could not be used online or by their call center. I've now been told I have to go to a local office to book a flight. I'm attempting to do that, but I'm sure there will be other issues.
Prior to this I flew Turkish 3-4 times a year. I used to recommend Turkish Airlines to everyone I know. But that has changed. After this experience, I will no longer be flying on Turkish unless it is absolutely necessary.

Turkish Airlines canceled my flights and did not refund me. I had return tickets and they canceled also return tickets. when did I ask why? they just said they have like this rule. it's totally unfair. I never recommend this bad company to anyone.

We don’t get the answer and when we call to get any information they told us that they can’t do anything and they don’t have any informations for us if we want we can fill another feedback. Very bad and rude responses
Very bad and rude responses. I have an issue where by I booked through eDreams, the person who was helping me used wrong details and we couldn't change but had to cancel, so when we are asking for the refund, eDreams would say it's up to Turkish airline, when we asking them they are saying it's EDreams. Now today we got that the airline is refunding us a 1000 Zars, while we spent over 15 000 Zars . How is this acceptable if we chose the refundable ticket? Now when we are asking eDreams, they are saying they have no influence whatsoever its Turkish airline, when asking Turkish they are saying it's not them but EDreams. What Micky mouse games is eDreams and Turkish airline playing? How can a client complain and you are being accused but you won't take a step to clear up the misunderstandings and clear your name? Does this mean that this is a game they both play to avoid paying back to benefit from clients money? I'm really disgusted,. How can they not take a step to ask eDreams to stop dirtifying their name if they are innocent? I have been bothering eDreams for months, and all they have been saying was its up to the airline. Please if anyone knows where to go in order to solve this, can they help?
Manchester to Istanbul and back.
Flight out, Manchester to Istanbul was great (food was typical airline) except the airline had given away the seats that I specifically paid extra for.
For some reason direct return flights are not available from the airlines website (but they are available on other websites…which I later found out).
So on return journey Istanbul to Dalaman, flight-ok, again airline didn’t give me seats I paid extra for.
Then 10 hour wait for connecting flight to Manchester. Got bitten by something over 15 times in Dalaman airport (admittedly not Turkish airlines fault, but why the f was I even there)
Would have given 2 star if rated on the running of the whole thing but given 4 cause all the staff were atleast nice and a few of them actually helpful. Especially the guy, who worked for Turkish airlines at Dalaman airport, who helped us get into the Lounge area so family could sleep 6 hours until the connecting flight. Although the airport did charge me £190 (£95 for 3 hours). And then we didn’t get the seats on the flight, that I’d paid extra for.
Oh and then they lost one of our bags on the return flight but that was delivered to our house within days.

Should be zero stars. I don’t care what happens in my life or where I have to go I will never fly Turkish airlines again and will never transit turkey. All the staff is incredibly disrespectful with the worst attitudes I’ve EVER encountered in the travel industry. I got more hospitality and ease of transit at the Russian airport. It all started when I simply forgot my mask, and was not told the Turkish airlines employee would not let me pass into security control after checkin, they forced me to go to a far away part of the terminal to BUY a mask. I told the lady I was at risk of missing my flight and she said “too bad, go buy a mask”. This was at DXB, and none of the other airlines in DXB have this ridiculous policy and will give you a mask if you need one. As soon as you pass the troll at security check, no one wears masks anymore….then the plane for 5 hours was really garbage. My neighbors seat would not recline, staff on the airplane was short, rude, and pushy. However they didn’t even enforce strict masking so what’s the point? The entertainment system was old, and they have tvs blasting all over the place and do not provide eye mask so it’s super bright with blue light the entire flight. There was no AC control in my regular economy seat….plane was not hot but what kind of garbage old planes are they using? Then you land in Istanbul and it’s hole in the ground style toilets that are disgustingly dirty and full of urine and water on the floor. Further, they ask for your passport and boarding pass for EVERYTHING,like duty free, shops in terminals, etc. their systems could not process my card even though there’s nothing wrong with it and it works everywhere else. They are so stingy they make you pay 8 euros for wifi access in the airport…they give you only one hour free. To top it off their insane security in the terminal is rude, and demanded to see my “itenerary” even after showing my US passport and printed plane ticket from checkin to aUS bound flight. When I asked the lady why this airport is like this and why they need to see an email if I have a passport and a plane ticket to my own country, the male security acted like he wanted to fight and got increasingly angry, to the point of demanding my “respect”. Then he went and told his buddies to over search me, so they pull me off to the side over searched my bag, swabbed me all over with paper, metal sticked me, patted me down. Ridiculous. I’m never coming through turkey again and will NEVER fly Turkish airlines. I was going to upgrade my 10+ hour flight to business class at the gate, but their treatment is so bad I would rather suffer than give them anything. Believe I have money or don’t but I’m telling you, never ever again.

I had never felt so mistreated before. My brother in law tragically passed away and my sister and him had a flight to go back home. They didn´t allow us to change the flight for another passenger (to accompany my sister) nor gave her a refund.
The support agents were robotic and heartless and the company policies completely unacceptable.

Giving one star just so I can write a review. As soon we got in line to check in, they offered first class updates for $1200. We already payed almost 6k for our roundtrip tickets so we didn’t take the offer. As soon we got to the check in we remained with “stand by” on our tickets with no explanation due to overbooking. We found this out later, honestly we hoped for a free update. Operator sent us to the gate to check on seats availability. After waiting and waiting the plane just just took off!!!
Compensation is same as we would volunteer to wait until next day as follows , so please aware everyone:

NIGHTMARE....SHAME ON YOU FRAUDSTERS
Most horrible experience of my life. NEVER EVER will travel anywhere with Turkish airlines.
My flight was cancelled due to overbooking!!! Not just me…they sold each seat to 2-3 people!!
and I wish I could describe the chaos at the airport. absolutely rude staff. They have no notion of the "common courtesy". no apologies at all. Not even once.
And we were not the only people that had this experience. After more than 6 hours of confusion with no one to be found to answer, we met many other passengers saying the same thing: their flights were cancelled due to overbooking!!!
At the beginning they promised us they will give us the next flight before noon the next day (my flight was at 23:10) but in the end the flight was the next day at 9 PM… a whole day was wasted.
We were told that airline will provide us with the hotel for the night, food, transportation to hotel and 100 euros as compensation.
The girl that was dealing with this matter dragged us (nearly 60 people) from one wing of that massive airport to the other side. No transportation was offered. We walked almost for 15 min. there were elderly people amongst us, and some had shopping from duty free and it was not easy at all.
They stationed us at a lounge, and she told us she will come back with the paperwork for the food, hotel, etc
She went away only to come back 3 F*** hours later and just with paperworks done for some of us. For the next 1 hour and half she kept on going back and forth and each time with 2-5 more people.
It was so frustrating. I need to highlight again the whole time she and her manager were SO RUDE. Like it was our fault and now they are cleaning up our mess! the attitude they were giving and faces they were making was just disgusting.
After the last paperwork delivered, she just disappeared with no further explenation or apology. And then we realised they had only given the hotel to some of the passengers. The rest were given a form for a 400 euros compensation.
The flight they gave us was for the next day at 9 PM so now we had to decide at 4AM whether to stay at the airport for more than 17 hrs or find a nearby hotel.
The next day, I went to the airport 4 hours prior to my flight just to make sure there will be no more surprises and to get the compensation then and there. There was a queue of 75 people at “customer service”!!!!!!!!!!!
You can imagine how many happy and satisfied customer Turkish airlines have. I was told, they wont give me Euros but equivalent of it in Turkish Lira!!!
Those of us that went to the hotel, told us later that the hotel was 2.5 hrs away from the airport!!!!
They were more exhausted rather than rested.
(in similar incidents other airlines usually send passengers to the hotel near airport)
Ever since I returned to UK, I started the process of refund and still waiting to hear back from them.

This Turkish airlines should be banned in USA. They are nothing but a fraud, deceiver, and schemer.
My returning flight was canceled by themselves and they were blaming that I am who request to change and since I did not come that date it is "NO Show" penalty and rescheduling fee otherwise I can not board as schedule, even I have reconfirmed 24 hours earlier of flight depart, it's shows all OK status, after all correspond they deny to refund, and stating two different statement first they says that I request reschedule to earlier flight, second statement saying
that I was very late to board the flight so they have to charge me.
I travel every year with different Airlines but never ever this nightmare ordeal.
cabin service is extremely worse, seats are very bad shape, overall I would never ever let any body travel with this world's third class Airlines.
