Fraud and Irresponsible

The airline rescheduled my flight from 26th April to 27th April and because of that I had to buy a new train ticket for 60 Euro. They do not take the responsibility and do not refund the expenses they caused. Absolutely low quality customer service.

YOU ARE A REALLY BAD COMPANY, the flight was delayed in PARIS so my next flight in turkish went !!! we are at the istanbul airport like animal, no drinks, no food, no apologize, nobody explained us what will happen, !!! how you can threat people like that ! personnal at the airport are unpolite like hell ! find a solution, if the flight was delayed is not our fault, now we have to sleep at the airport with no news for the next flight ! the police says if we can to go out and sleep in a hotel, we need visa and we had to pay ! what the HELL !!
pls find a solution on the next first flight !

Worst customer support ever ...

You simply can't get in touch with them. And when eventually you think you got through you are immediately passed on to an uneligible voice mail telling you a number in a language that's supposed to be English. Hopeless!

Daylight robbery!

I bought extra service for an equipment for my flight Manila to Manchester but was told by ground crew in Manila that people in Istanbul only recognise payment for Manila to Istanbul despite showing them confirmation that payment was for Manila to Istanbul.

As the extra luggage was purchased at the time of online check-in, the charges was automatically billed for the whole flight which also issued my seats from Manila to Manchester.

Despite my online check-in and payment, I was held until I pay for the Istanbul-Manchester leg which I immediately offered to pay explaining to them that I can recover it back via the chargeback scheme as it was paid via my credit card. With this information and my offer to pay for it right away, having arrived so early at the airport - 3 hours before departure - so I can have dinner and rest, I was held until the counter closed. I then had to rush to the boarding gate without any dinner as I still have to pass immigration.

At the boarding gate I was then made to pay before I was allowed to board. No dinner and no rest. It was extremely stressful, especially for someone with a medical condition, and just didn't make sense given that I have immediately offered to pay knowing I can get it back from my credit card thru chargeback.

The ground crew were all very helpful and fought for my payment to be recognised after seeing the payment receipt. But I was told Istanbul office would not accept it and as they were not directly employed by the airline were powerless to override the decision.

This airline wanted more money not knowing that in the UK, credit card payments are protected by the chargeback scheme and anything over £100 is protected by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

Reading so many reviews involving daylight robbery but this airline, always pay using a credit card for your own protection!

Traumatic Emergency stop due to malfunction or Pilot error

Following an emergency stop at high speed, as the plane was about to takeoff, we stuck on the runway for 5hrs! Reason for the emergency brake was a cockpit window that was open. Brakes and tyres of the plane were damaged in the process. The flight was eventually cancelled. Passengers were sent to a cheap hotel nearby. Some, including myself went home and were asked to provide our contact details. Nobody was contacted for updates on the next fligh. Turkish Airline call centre did not have it registered on the system that the flight was cancelled and insisted that if I was to book a new flight I would have to pay for the changes. Turkish Airlines at Johannesburg airport could not be reached. Passengers had to arrive early and wait once again for 4-5 hrs in queues. No boarding pass for the connecting flights were issued. My luggage end up being lost at final destination. Exceptionally poor processes and customer service especially after a traumatic emergency stop.

Our july 19th flight tickets got…

Our july 19th flight tickets got cancelled to pakistan so i received a email from Turkish airlines. I then rang them up and requested for a refund they said they cant process refund you have to go to nearest Turkish airlines office which in Heathrow airport terminal 2. I went there with my father and i requested for refund they said they dont refund here they gave me forms which i have to fill up bank details form,attach passport of passengers and passenger consent that they are happy for money to put to my account i payed for this ticket.

I thought i would get a straightforward refund
Now i have to send all these to the email address written on form and then i dont know how long it will take

I feel angry and fustrated i spent 4 hours to go there comeback with no refund.

Istanbul new Airport is my worst…

Istanbul new Airport is my worst experience ever with Turkish airline.
My advice is for people please don't buy from ticket from this airline as it not good at all.poor service in the plane poorest food.no internet for passengers even other airlines gives 1 hour complementary WiFi but Turkish does not.
In new Istanbul airport food courts are theifs and looting from passengers as like airline.
Old food and very very expensive.coka cola price outside is 1 lira but inside airport it is 25 lira .
Shame on them .
Free wifi is for only one hour and later you have to pay for WiFi in the airport as well.
My advice to the people please don't book with Turkish airline.
They are fraud.

TURKISH AIRLINES SCAMMERS

TURKISH AIRLINES SCAMMED, charging me 400 Euros for extra baggage twice on my bank account. Their service is irresponsible and they haven’t shown any interest in solving this issue at all!

I feel helpless and sad and abused.

I bought their round ticket from July…

I bought their round ticket from July 20-August 5. Suddenly they’re cancelled outgoing ticket but not incoming. Because of that I am having problems to cancel this flight and process refund. They started flights cancellation but don’t want me refund full just for cancellation one. I have done so many phone calls in passed 2 days. Not any solutions wants to rip me off!

Don't fly with them

I think the positive reviews that this airline gets are completely fake, with no single detail. I missed a flight due to customs delay and called the local agent who assured me that I can use my inbound leg of the flight for a fee. Fine? OK. I flew to my destination, and then called Turkish airline agents in my current destination, and the drama started!

"Sir you have to fill a feedback form".....Done
"Sir we have sent you request to the management"....OK!
"Sir we have escalated your request to the higher management"...As if I'll buy shares in Turkish Airlines !!
The irony is, I called my local agents back home, and instead of solving my problem, they sent me back to the call center in Turkey and cost me around 30USD for the same response.

After more than 10 calls in 3 days..I've got an e-mail "We apologize for your experience and regret to inform you that we can't let you fly on YOUR OWN SEAT back home". Do they care about their customer? Not at all. They sold the seat to someone else...and made money! That's all what they care about. Don't fly with them unless you really have to. You have been warned!

Called to request a refund

Called to request a refund and have been passed around for over 2 hours! As we used an agency it made things much worse, there is zero communication between the 2 companies and little care for how they treat their customers. Really disappointed with the whole experience and still no further along to understanding what I can do next.

5 star for being caring

the kindness of the on-board staff was a marvel - these guys are the best airline staff I have ever come across!
Babies crying, passengers being unruly etc but nothing phased them - they deserve 5 starts any-day!

Called to ask for a refund

Called to ask for a refund. I was transferred from one person to another for over an hour only to be told to go to an office because “they can’t give me a refund through the call center” due to a change I made last year. This airline is a joke 🤦🏾‍♂️

1 year and 5 months and yet no refund!

1 year and 5 months has passed and I am still awaiting for my refund. PLEASE do not fly Turkish, the customer service is awful. I’ve been chasing a refund for a flight that was cancelled by Turkish and for the past 1 year and 5 months, I’ve been passed along from one department to another! Their customer service lines are all premium charge lines and hence so far I’ve paid more than £80 just calling them for my refund and yet I’ve not received a penny! No matter how cheap they are, please avoid at all costs! Not sure how they are still in business. Again, avoid at all costs unless you’re willing to lose your money and have zero response.

I had a horrifying experience with…

I had a horrifying experience with Turkish Airline customer service. We have to travel with several pets and no one was able to answer the simple questions about weight and cage dimension restrictions prior to purchasing the ticket. They said I had to reserve the tickets first in order for them to tell. So I did-just to learn that the weight limitation was 50 kg, and my dog with the cage weighted 60kg. Due to representatives’incompetence I lost 270$ in cancellation fee that they wanted to charge after just one hour of purchasing the ticket. Also, they pass you to someone else several times without explanation... Their feedback team does not solve the problems but just brash you off...

I bought a Turkish airlines ticket from agency bcz off COVID-19 flight has been called by airline and so far I talked several times to agency about refunding they Let me know that admin charge £50 per passenger Will be applied.so the agency will charging me bcz airlines cancelled the flight and airlines There is no answer to this question why I have to pay cancellation service charge which is happen from Turkish airlines.
