Twenix is an ideal company - the flexibility in schedule is what attracted me most. The students are eager to learn and the lessons are easy to follow. It's practically right in front of you when teaching. The rate is ok, the bonus packages are fine, but I prefer the incentive that came with the video classes. It's worth more than the bonus package in the long run. I also like that we can auction classes if we are not able to teach it. The only thing that bothers me is the strict rule of absences - two strikes and you get the boot. Yes, I know there are options like not opening a slot or auctioning a class - but sometimes there are other infrastructure issues involved. Even if the teacher is committed to teaching that lesson, stuff happens: e.g. internet lagging or power outage which leaves little to no time for class transfers. I hope the management will look at a teacher's record before dismissal.

I love teaching on Twenix. It's the best hobby and I get paid. I love the students and the structure of the classes. I just levelled up to Expansion. I also have done Seed previously. Unfortunately the pay stays the same :( I started teaching on Twenix when I was living in Greece. Now I am living in Australia where the cost of living is much higher. I did ask if my pay grade would change, however as I started teaching in Greece, it remains at the low rate. If the pay was actually comensurate to the country you are living in, and not the country you started teaching in, I would have given 5 stars. It was disappointing that the pay for video calls decreased as sometimes the number of classes to achieve the bonus is unrealistic unless you are working full time. A little bit disappointed with that aspect to be honest.

Twenix is a great platform and students are absolutely lovely most of the time. The lessons are nicely structured and easy to follow with a little preparation. Most students are Spanish and Italian professionals that are keen to learn and improve. I used to teach children and it's definitely a lot less stressful to teach adults. Plus many of them already have a decent level of English.

I've been on the platform since 2023 and I would happily do it as my full-time job, however, the money isn't sustainable if you live in Western Europe, especially during the low season, which is such a shame. If the base rate was higher, it would be a perfect tutoring job. But I guess you can't have it all 😅 (Twenix managers - please, please, look into increasing the base rate 🙏🏻)

I would definitely recommend it for people who live in Eastern Europe or outside Europe where the cost of living isn't as high and this could well be the main source of income.

You can improve your speaking with people who speak English in difrerents countries

Pay is very low. You can't rent an apartment in America with this level of pay. With that said, don't have this job as your sole bread & butter. Impossible weekly rating target and students just give you the rating that you give them. As such, their skill levels are just all over the place.

Working with Twenix is absolutely amazing, I love the fact that I can sign into my account and collect transfer lessons at any time. Also, the lesson materials are very interesting and easy to follow.

Twenix has been absolutely incredible thus far. Apart from low-season, when lessons are scarce and making ends meet feels impossible. I have no other reason to complain.

I would avoid this at all costs. Their hourly rate is an insult and they will only pay you via Wise or Payoneer. They also have a lazy selection process in which you have to read a 16 page Google slide with tasks BEFORE they even consider you for an interview. This shows that they don't care about you as a teacher, with all the hard work you do and all the qualifications you gained - your reward? €8 an hour! Teachers - you are worth MUCH more than that.

The vast majority of students (95% of them Spanish professionals) are super, willing to learn and have that inner-drive to want to improve their English. It is TBL, so the lessons are highly focused and relevant. In busy months, it's relatively easy to build up a decent sub-wage, though never could it become a full time role.
I find the customer service slow to respond- 48 hours+- and your own performance rating can drop through no fault of your own, specifically if there's an error in the students' own connections. You will get a "background distractions" negative rating. However, I think to dip below the 4.7 min, you would have to be very unlucky or perhaps simply not suited to this way of teaching. It's not going to be for everyone, teacher or student.

My experience with Twenix has been fantastic so far! The platform offers incredible flexibility, allowing me to set my own working hours and teach at any time of the day. The support team is exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to assist. The adult students are respectful, motivated, and a joy to teach. I truly love working on this platform, as it gives me the opportunity to connect with people from around the globe and help them enhance their English skills in every aspect of the language.

I was hired by them in September and recently was terminated for not receiving an overall rating of 4.7. My ratings for two weeks was 4.63. One disgruntled student can tank your rating with this company that under pays teachers from the start. I am a former IELTS examiner and a teacher with over 15 years teaching experience. Instead of investigating negative feedback from students this company recommends you watch countless hours of worthless videos. I had a student directly tell me that he had a difficult time understanding native English speakers. The material they give you to work with is outdated and irrelevant. Do not waste your time with a company who does not value their teachers verses their performance abilities!

Is super flexibe and the mayority of teacher are lovely.

My experience teaching on Twenix has been excellent. The platform is user-friendly and provides great resources for both teachers and students, making lessons interactive and effective. The schedule is very flexible, and the salary is competitive. Overall, Twenix has been a great place to teach, and I highly recommend it to other educators.

I have taught on many platforms before and this is by far the best one for me. It is very easy to use and the hours are flexible. The pay is good and always on time. They offer a great support team that explains everything in a timely manner. I am happy here.

I gave it 10 because it's incredibly easy, fun and quick improve with lessons of this type. During my package of 24, I was able to test my residual skills. Rethink and reflect on the most common mistakes in both pronunciation and grammar, honing the knowledge and mastery of the English language as far as possible.

They have a great application process. Very efficient and targets the right questions.
