Deposits for purchase mean nothing and they just throw stuff on Kickstarter. I couldn't get through to secure a unit because Kickstarter kept failing.

I wanted to purchase the iDX6011 Pro and paid a very early bird deposit and instead of being able to buy it, they suddenly just say it's first come first serve on kickstarter. My deposit meant nothing and I wrote to support who just told me that I'd get my deposit refunded if I don't manage to secure a unit. How the hell is that a way to run a business?

iDX6011 Scam situation on Kickstarter.
From a happy customer, to a displeased buyer
I got the DXP4800 plus back in 2025, the device was fantastic.
I was so pleased with it that I wanted to upgrade.
They announced the IDX series, and I wanted the top-of-the-line model.
I put down a deposit in July 2025 and waited for 8 months, only to get an email telling everyone who put down a deposit that it’s first come first serve and they changed the agreement with early bakers.
Not only for people who put a deposit, but for everyone.
So there was no reason for my deposit, and there was no reason for me to wait.
Today I tried to buy it from Kickstarter 3 times (3 waves of selling), but the Kickstarter just didn’t work, so it was NO CHANCE at all to buy it!
I didn’t put a deposit to fight people for a product I believe in; I put a deposit to purchase an item, and that wasn’t the case.
My trust in this company has diminished to a point where I want to leave the ecosystem altogether.
I won’t get burned by the same company twice
I don’t trust them anymore.

AI NAS reservation
Deposited $30 in order to purchase a NASync iDX6011 Pro for early bird rate of $1599. Then was told that I had to back the project via Kickstarter "due to overwhelming demand" for $1999 for a product that "will be released in multiple waves" "on a first-come, first served basis due to limited supply" and I would be reimbursed the difference in 2 months. What a scam!

Kickstarter Scam, Reservation Fraud
Baught a reservation for the idx6011 pro, but they scammed us all. They limited the possibility to buy the item what we reserved und thousands were not able to order what they have reserved
I mean: why reserve and then limit that you cannot deliver all of those who have a reservation.
There would be a lot of technically possibilities.
It was just a marketing scam on our money.

Took the bait and deposited $30, got the switch like a Taylor Swift Ticketmaster scam. Told to go stand in line, of which servers crashed during all three scheduled windows (for those that secure a spot.....) only to have them all sold out in 5 minutes. This was my first and only experience with UGreen and honestly even with the 3 year warranty on the NAS I honestly do not believe it would be worth it to do business with this organization unless you are accustomed to fly by night promises and lack of desire to deliver a good customer experience. But hey, they got the bad customer experience down like pros, so there's that!

Put down a $30 super early bird deposit for the AI NAS launch iDX and was promised availability and launch day comes leaving me without a chance to even get one. What a rip off. False advertising, shady marketing tactics, raising prices with a "refund you later" and so much garbage management of this whole thing it makes me SICK. What a waste of my time, money and excitement.

Go elsewhere for your storage needs
Pre-ordered the iDX6011 NAS off their website for $30 to get a private link on the kickstarter and 30% off the kickstarter price. The Friday before the launch they emailed out saying we were no longer getting private links and it's going to be first come first serve, but you'll get refunded the difference IF you are able to get a unit.

This is not how you do business. If the price needs to be higher because of RAM costs, then say that. It's blatent that they didn't update the price and continued to sell pre-orders at the low list price and now they are trying to limit the damage by making it so people cannot get the units below the cost to make.

They ran a kickstarter for their AI nas, took deposits, then proceeded to not honor deposits at the agreed to price asking to pay almost doble of what the deposit-guaranteed price was.

Recent kickstarter for the IDX6011 Pro - Promises made and broken for putting down an "early" pre order deposit. Which turned out to be basically an interest free loan for the company. Promised guaranteed availbility for pre order deposits and that turned out to be false.
Ugreen: Thank you for the reply, but the $30 deposit doesn't include the "unprecedented" 40% discount, without you adding on another two month interest free loan after you've had out money for the greater part of a year. If you did manage to secure the top tier product you have to front the company an extra $1000 (full retail price, not even the "earlybird" price on kickstarter that we paid the honor of $30 to secure) on the promise of it being refunded. Just smoke and mirrors. While securing a short term cash infusion that's likely better than market rates... you haven't fooled me.

Refusal to accept payment due to a verified Royal Mail post code
Tried to order their top of the range NAS via their official UK Web page. Despite having a verified UK postal address for Royal Mail and a UK credit card ( Barclays) they refused to accept payment. They then argued and argued and argued that they were right and eventually said the carrier was not officially within their delivery coverage all this despite having a big Royal Mail logo on their UK Website payment page. I tried to change the address but then they were not accepting a Barclays Card UK payment. Ugreen also brag about a 24/7 chat facility that in reality didn't work at all. They also brag about a customer service team that still haven't replied with a coherent answer within 168 hours. Absolutely appalling customer service / buying experience. Not even worthy of 1 star. If an IT company can't even sort their own website out to do very basic address and payment lookups on their own Webpage I seriously question their overall capability when something actually goes faulty with their products!!! Be warned. A seriously badly run IT company

I am very very disappointed with your customer relations.
I have a parcel which was to be delivered yesterday the 20th of March 2026, was at home, at within the scheduled time frame, all of a sudden i recieved a failed delivery massage.
Called the customer care who advised i wait for an authorisation to pick the parcel up from a named post office near me, on getting to the said post office after recieving the pick up authorisation, the very nice staff at the post office after scanning the nar code couldn't find the parcel and on reaching out to DPD again, i was told i was mistakenly take back to the depot.
I was promised it will be delivered unfailingly this morning before 12noon.
Again i didn't receive a delivery time for the parcel, on call dpd now i was told that the delivery time hase been move to Monday.
This is totally unfair
Sent a Used Item as New! Customer Service Terrible.
Ordered UGREEN Revodok Max 2131 Thunderbolt 5 13-in-1 Docking Station 140W - they sent me a pre-opened and obviously returned item instead of new. Seals were all broken and cables were out of their sealed packaging too.
Plus there is a scuff on the unit itself.
This was ordered from the official UGREEN website. I have now been waiting a month, going round in circles for something that should have been exchanged and replaced no issues. Still not resolved and extremely annoyed that they sent me a used item for something as expensive.
Avoid
Bought product. Product doesn't work. Support takes two weeks to answer, ultimately telling you it's not their problem. Avoid like the plague.
UGREEN Customer Service.
I purchased a UGREEN - Nexode 200W 4 Port GaN fast charger on September 2025. It stopped working so I emailed support on the 15th February 2026. They responded very quickly (same day) asking for some videos which I provided. I have heard nothing since!. At this stage I checked trustpilot and saw the mixed reviews and felt my duty to leave my experience.
I always buy Ugreen products as preference.
I have always used Ugreen products on Amazon when they are available for something I need (several chargers, many, many cables, accessories, air tags, battery power banks etc). Always first rate for quality and reliability, I purchased a Nexode Power Bank direct online two days ago and the product was received today, excellent service & exactly what I needed.

Received a partial shipment (the items that arrived are fine), but the remaining cable never showed up. Support first said the cable was out of stock and offered to cancel/refund, then said it would not be available and asked me to choose a different USB‑C cable. I agreed to a replacement, but after multiple follow-ups I got no reply. Poor inventory management, unclear communication, and unacceptable support responsiveness
