My 6 month old LUBA 2 5000X failed…
Disappointing After-Sales Support and Misleading Stock Information
My 6-month-old LUBA 2 5000X failed with a drive motor error in November and was returned to Mammotion for repair.
While I’ve been reasonably happy with the mower’s performance overall, it is not truly autonomous and requires frequent intervention. It also performs poorly on remote or unoccupied properties, which significantly limits its usefulness for my needs.
The real issue, however, is after-sales support.
After holding my mower for an extended period, Mammotion informed me that the repair is delayed due to a shortage of parts and offered two unacceptable options:
Wait indefinitely for repair, or
Wait indefinitely for a replacement unit that may be used, potentially scratched, and with no confirmed availability date.
Despite this, Mammotion’s own website currently lists the LUBA 2 5000X as “in stock” with estimated delivery between December 17–23, which strongly suggests that a replacement within a reasonable timeframe should be possible. When I raised this inconsistency, I was eventually told they are “willing” to replace the unit but still claim no new stock is available.
I have now requested a full refund if a replacement cannot be shipped within seven days.
Additionally, their “Mammotion Support & Solutions Official” Facebook group appears heavily moderated, with negative experiences removed or blocked, giving a misleading impression of customer satisfaction.
Overall, the product has potential, but slow repairs, unclear communication, and contradictory stock information have made this a frustrating experience. I would advise prospective buyers to carefully consider the risk of long downtime if something goes wrong.

NEEDS RAKED UP CONSTANTLY - Really disappointed in our Yuka mower.
Really disappointed in our Yuka mower. It leaves clumpy grass trails across the entire lawn that need to be raked up. If you're happy to have clumpy lines of cut grass across your entire lawn and grass cuttings tracked across your patios, decks and into the house then this is the mower for you. If you don't want to spend hours raking then it isn't the mower for you. I complained within 30 days but my point was obstructively missed throughout every interaction to be told in the end my lawn was perfect - yes - my lawn is perfect because I use a petrol mower. Rugged, intelligent and well-connected!
I have several separate lawns set within around 2 acres, so was looking for a rugged, intelligent and well-connected robot mower that would cope with the task.
The Mammotion Luba 2 AWD 3000X does the job seamlessly! So easy to set up, map, and control - I have been so impressed.

They are crooks and should be prosecuted. Oh no they can't as they are in China. My mower has never worked but despite requesting a refund within 28 days they wont give me one. Do not believe the other reviews as they are probably made up
Ideal for Small lawns
We have a small 73sq.metre lawn which has all curves and only one straight edge of about 4m. Before purchase I was concerned as to whether the Yuka Mini could cope with all the curves. However I need not have worried. From the start the Robot did a great job! Thank you Mammotion.

I had heard about these mowers And I did some of my own research, I needed to buy one for my daughter as she struggles with her lawn, my only wish is , I wish I had heard about them earlier. She now has absolutely no problem at all, and her grass looks great . Great price too, works as it should. Her son set it up in no time at all.you need an outside socket , it takes itself back home to charge , is neat and tidy . GREAT PRODUCT

I own a Luba 2 mower and ran into an issue recently, so I hopped onto Mammotion’s live chat. To my surprise, they replied within seconds—no waiting around at all—and helped me step-by-step through troubleshooting. They even sent clear instructions with helpful pictures. Every time I answered a question, their response was next‑level fast—I never waited more than 60 seconds.
Once they identified the issue, they arranged for a replacement part under warranty, at no extra cost. A local agent dispatched it the same day, and my mower was fixed within hours. Seriously, that kind of turnaround is rare.

I recently bought the Mammotion Luba 2 3000 from Mower Magic in the UK. I am very pleased with the robot mower. It really is an excellent device for a one-acre garden. It gets stuck and confused occasionally, but in general, it does an excellent job. The app is comprehensive but a little confusing. The weakest part of the product is the 4G iNavi system, which simply doesn't work for whatever reason. It is a hopelessly ineffective aspect of the product. I'm sure they are working to try to improve it, but it fundamentally does not work in the UK. But overall, unless you rely heavily on the 4G capability for the actual functioning of the robot, which fortunately I do not. It's an excellent labour-saving device. I strongly recommend buying through Mower Magic; their customer service is excellent and significantly better than dealing directly with Mommotion themselves. I would highly recommend anyone buy from Mower Magic, the official dealer, and not Mommotion. All in all, I have to strongly recommend this device after three months of usage.
Excellent mowing so far…
Having tried a number of other robot mowers, including Stihl and Kress, the Luba 2 AWD 800 was my last attempt before giving up on the idea. I have a complicated garden, where different areas of grass are connected by large sections of 20mm gravel. All of the other robots I tried, could not travel over the gravel, but the Luba 2 AWD handles it with ease.
I did have some initial teething issues with the set up, as I tried working mine off the iNavi system instead of the RTK. Frustratingly, this was extremely unreliable and the Luba 2 kept losing its location. Following some advice online from Mammotion, I installed the RTK, and so far it seems to be working really well.
I would highly recommend the Luba 2 AWD, especially if you have areas of gravel that you need to transit.

It works superb! Mapping the area is easy the robot then cuts the grass while you lounge in a chair with a drink.

Direct service is horrific
Mammotion direct can’t get any worse, I can’t stress enough not to buy direct as customer service is terrible, they agree to help them ghost you as you don’t hear back, then you never get the same person so communicate is non existent, faulty 3000x mower 1 day old bricked after 2 hrs use. Took 4 weeks to get them to collect and then had to take e legal action to get my money back. Trust what you read about customer service being very bad as it’s true. Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere.
