I recently bought the Mammotion Luba 2 3000 from Mower Magic in the UK. I am very pleased with the robot mower. It really is an excellent device for a one-acre garden. It gets stuck and confused occas... See more

A Great Addition to Our Garden!
I bought the Yuka Mini as a birthday gift for my husband, and it’s turned out to be a fantastic purchase. It arrived just as Spring was starting, and we’ve been using it ever since. It lives out in the garden and keeps the lawn beautifully trimmed with very little effort on our part.
One of my favourite things is how neat and precise the lawn looks after it’s been around – the straight lines it leaves behind are so satisfying! The grass itself looks greener and so much healthier since we started using it. It’s really made a difference to the overall appearance of the garden.
We’re looking forward to spending the Summer out there with the kids splashing in the paddling pool – and thanks to the Yuka Mini, the garden is looking its best.
The Luba mower is the best piece of kit…
The Luba mower is the best piece of kit I have ever bought! It saves me 6.5 hours of manual grass cutting every 2 weeks. Brilliant with great customer support too!
I’ve had my Luba robot mower for nearly…2 years
I’ve had my Luba robot mower for nearly 2 years, when I broke it last year the customer service was fantastic, repaired and returned at no cost in an about 10 days. Recently I was having a Wi-Fi issue, again customer service took a remote look and fixed the issue. Just short of an acre of lovely striped lawns, cannot recommend more highly
Mammotion Yuka Mini 600
I recently bought the Mammotion Yuka mini 600 after doing a number of weeks research into different mowers. The key thing that sold the mower to me more than anything was that no perimeter wires were required. The other feature I was interested in was that you didn't have to use the RTK station and it would work using the built in mobile sim card, called iNavi NetRTK. Having owned the mower now for a month, and used both the RTK and iNavi options, both work as well as each other. Until the end of 2025, the iNavi is a free service. After that, it's a reasonably priced subscription you need to pay for. But again, this is optional as you can choose to just use the RTK base station instead.
It was easy to assemble the base station and charging dock, and using the app to connect to the mower was straightforward. I did have some difficulties with connecting it to my WiFi, so had to move the base station and mower to a better signal area. Once connected, it needed a firmware upgrade. I had a few issues here too, but I realised it was my problem as my PiHole DNS and AdBlocker were blocking some communication. Once that was sorted, the mower updated without issue. I've since created an allow rule to ensure any comms isn't blocked from the IP of the mower.
It took about 15 minutes to map the front and back lawn. Once both lawns were mapped, creating a channel between them was simple.
The performance of the mower is great. I've just been using the defaults on the app, but have tried the checkerboard option once. That took a lot longer to cut but did a good job. Once the middle of the lawn has been cut, it then does the perimeter. There are lots of mowing options available via the app and you can also do lawn art too!
My lawn (front and back) is less than 150m2, so you might say, why get a robotic mower at all? For me, it's all about saving time that I can then spend with my family. I also don't like mowing at the best of times, so I'm using technology to give me time back and make my life easier!
Just to add, contact with Mammotion support has been very easy, and they have always provided quality support. Never had any issues with them.
Overall, if you decide to buy this mower, you won't be disappointed.
Excellent customer service and loving…
Excellent customer service and loving my Yuka mini. My lawn looks the best is has looked in years.
Great Mammotion YUKA Mini
Bought after a recommendation from a friend. Great features. Works well.
A league above the rest
After buying other robot mowers Mammotion sets the standard with its advance technology and intelligence it is a step above the rest.
Easy to setup, easy to use app and perfect grad cutting every time.
Can’t fault the product or service.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Delivery time is not what is stated. This company has no idea how to treat customers.
Website claims 2-5 Business days. It's now 14 and counting.
Website claims 2-5 Business days. After 14 working days, it still hasn't dispatched. Order ID M6537UK
This is the SECOND system I've purchased from them, and the other one was similarly slow... It just isn't honest to keep these times on the website when delivery is so consistently slow.
Big picture on the product: Decent, but software is rough round the edges. It's good enough to want to buy a second one - but:
- It is unreliable at returning to work mid-job after a re-charge. Sometimes it does, sometimes it just stays on the charger
- The App has potential, but is just a bit "rough" and lacking robust testing and polish. I'm a software engineer and have a sense what's going on behind the scenes (notably the app waiting for the Robot to send/share data thorough the internet), but the quality of UI and handling of this latency is poorly thought out and executed. Hopefully this will improve over time - it just needs a bit of thorough testing and effort
- There's no ability to import your own lawn art graphics, or request "square of 10x2m" or similar, which would be VERY useful. I think it might be possible to hack the API to achieve this, but it's weak that it's still not possible when they've been doing mowers for years.
Bottom line - it's "OK", and I'd like to love it - but I'd wait until the company is doing a better job before purchasing. There are others suppliers of RTK Lawn Robots out there, who, with hindsight, might just be a bit slicker.
Poor support
Ordered and paid for a Luba2 5000x on the 27th March, categorised as “in stock”, to be delivered between 3&5 business days. No sign or communication in first week, eventually made contact via Chat and was reassured that I would receive it in another week. Still no sign of it, received an email recently suggesting issues with my address but would receive by the end of April. Tried several times to contact via chat but timed out awaiting expert. Purchase experience very poor to date.
So a recent update. Have received now received the mower. Setup and running well, no complaints on its ability or performance. Indeed it’s exceptional on slopes.
Mammotion need to work on their customer service, their product is very good so far.
Loving the Luba Mini 800
I 'pre-ordered' the Luba Mini 800, expecting delivery by the end of March. After a couple of hiccoughs - plainly due to the huge demand for these units - Mammotion's customer services exceeded my expectations and pulled out all the stops to ensure I received my unit as promised. I have been very impressed by their responsiveness and courtesy. The unit arrived well packaged and is very solid and well built. It was easier to set up than I had expected - a solid wifi connection is not essential.
I bought it to replace a Worx robot, which requires a perimeter wire. So far, I have been very impressed with the functionality and performance of the Luba. Perfect, clean, straight lines every time, no getting stuck, no running over the dog toys, and it finds its way back to the charging station without any issues. Great.
The Yuka is a good well made product
The Yuka is a good well made product, and makes a good job of cutting grass. Nice striped lawn👍
Customer support was helpful
Impressive, and reliable time-saving mower
After some initial delivery issues, a product of their success with there staff being simply overwhelmed, I tested their customer support to the maximum and they exceeded my expectations with their courteous and timely responses. I purchased the Yuka mini 600 and without a lie it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Being of an age that mowing a 300m2 garden can become tedious, the Yuka was super simple to setup and map my 3 zones...I hate to tell Mammotion but I didn't even need to watch their video guides once, the hardware and software is so intuitive. It has successfully mowed my garden 3 times now with zero issues. Happy customer!
Mows a steep slope and support was great
The new mower works well and mows a steep hillside that I can't mow by myself anymore and when I needed help their support answered all my questions.
Very timely response and repair
Very timely response and repair
The support team reviewed my logs even though the robot was in hibernation and approved the shipment to the repair facility to address the left motor issue. After return, they followed up a number of times to ensure the robot was ready for the mowing season. I'm extremely satisfied with the support team.
Luba 2 5000 review
After much research I brought a Luba 2 5000 late summer 2024.
My garden is mainly reclaimed grazing land so the grass is coarse and fast growing the land is uneven with steep banks, lots of trees and tree stumps a pond and even a small orchard to contend with. I decided that if the mower could handle 75% of the area then it had lived up to its adverts and I would be happy. It not only does 95% of the grass but it does it better than I did.
I've found it pays to invest some time up front and research the RTK and charging station positioning (there are apps to help check GPS coverage) Think also about cut height and pattern and divide your areas and tasks up accordingly. I also follow it round on the first time cut of the perimeter just to check it's interpreted the mapping correctly (it can sometime handle turns in slightly unexpected ways) and adjust the area mapping if need be.
So mower performance for me is brilliant.
Now came the next test. Mammotion support
I got the Luba out of winter storage and got everything setup to do it's season cut and there was an issue with the charging station. It charged but no lights and no IR so the mower couldn't dock itself.
I contacted Mammotion via the in app support chat. Had a real time conversation with a frontline support staff in a matter of minutes. She was great took lots of details and passed my problem onto tech. I was emailed within a couple of days by a techie called Echo who remained my point of contact there after (good). It was agreed that there was a power problem and as a first step a new charging adapter was sent out and arrived with days. We were unsure if the new adapter actually fixed it or if the station resolved itself either way everything is working again so there is no more for support to do.
I was very happy with the support I received it was knowledgeable and courteous. the techie took ownership of the problem and set out to solve it.
A big thank you to Echo for the help.
In conclusion.
The Luba 2 is not a cheap investment but I have not regretted it at all. I am very happy with the mower and the support. My friends who have seem the lawns are now looking at Mammotion as well.
Support is realy great
Support is realy great, very easy installation, the App is easy too handle, you can also move the unite with the App like an RC Car. The Installation was very fast. My green area is 2500m², it mows that without any problems, even the steep slope. The mower mows very precisely to the boundaries.
Finally I received the correct power…
Finally I received the correct power adaptor with 25 volts output.
Mine who was already changed last year but with a 29.9 volts output, generated a error when charging.
But I wait almost 8 months (included winter...) to be
exchanged and finally all is working correctly.
Best Investment
Luba 2 has to be one of the best investments I’ve made, great piece of technology that makes my life so easy. Had one slight issue with a faulty power supply after winter hibernation but after identifying the issue Mammotion support were great and had a new one sent out in only a few days. Would 100% recommend Luba to anyone looking for a robot lawnmower
Had a fault with the mamotion charger
Had a fault with the mamotion charger, which was a bit disappointing as it was only 6 months old. But customer service was excellent, and replaced it foc. It was simple to create a ticket and share videos etc of the fault with them, and no-hassle replacement made it quite simple.
