Absolutely Fantastic!!!
End to end was absolutely fantastic. I was a bit hesitant till the whole job finished only because I do not trust my DIY measurement skills. Richard was very patient with me during the design stage and he is very meticulous and thorough at design.
James is a class act during fixing stage. I don't think I have seen another hardworking one like him till now. He was on it from morning till he completed it by night time ! He was very considerate and did not create lots of mess around the house and even hoovered up the driveway at end.
Yes the cost was on the higher side but I feel it was worth every penny for me.
Highly highly recommend.

Great service and product
We had drawers and a cupboard put in- - excellent workmanship from James who was very pleasant and got it done in one day- very happy with the end result. Richard was very helpful in the planning stage as well.

Fantastic Throughout
From the initial telephone conversations with Richard to the final installation by James I cannot fault any part of this company.
Everything was explained and discussed to meet our needs (of a slightly unusual shape required).
On the day of installation James worked tirelessly to complete out storage and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.
The finish and quality is excellent and it blends into our victorian home effortlessly.
Everyone who comes round comments on how amazing it looks are then even more surprised with how much extra (and organised) storage it has provided us.
I would not hesitate in recommending Richard and his team to anyone looking for under-stair storage.

Emailed asking if I was prepared to spend thousands
I received a response to my enquiry asking how much I was prepared to pay. I responded with what I wanted (cupboards) and gave my mobile number, I then got a nameless email asking if I was prepared to pay thousands.
No dimensions asked, it was all about how much money I’d pay.
I wanted 3 cupboards only, for coats, spare chairs and shoes, I thought it was quite a basic requirement.

Ask yourself why you left a negative review without being a paying customer? ALL our 5 star reviews reflect the views of PAYING customers who have ALL had an installation within their home & not merely just made an enquiry. You are simply highlighting your own issues not ours! We think the good reviews far outweigh the bad & genuine customers with affordability will not be put off by your vexatious attempt to affect our reputation based on what can only be seen as a disgruntled lack of affordability or action of a competitor!
Your review is NOT accurate based on your experience, evidenced & shown below. You decided to manipulate the Trustpilot system & defame our excellent reputation as an enquirer & not as a paying customer! Could you not afford our services? Is this why you avoided the question we asked & left a negative review? If you want basic, call a local joiner not a National company! Why did you not reply to our email? You keep changing your review & it is still not a true reflection of the communications we had with you. Your review headline was "Don't Bother" for 10 days which was a direct public instruction to others. Trustpilot made you change it twice! If a consumer has left a genuine review of communications that is ok but you have not!
The events were as follows;
January 1st 2024 at 1623hrs - Customer submitted enquiry through website with a picture of stairs (this means we do not need measurements to estimate costs & saves the consumer time & effort in providing measurements to enable them to get an idea of cost for their project!)

January 2nd 2024 at 0101hrs - Our system sent the following standard email;
Thank you for providing the information. Please confirm what raw materials / style / finish you would like to specify for this project along with a budget you would like us to design & work to. We are a bespoke manufacturer specialising under the stairs & the only one that does so within the UK on a National basis. The choice of materials are endless but a budget will dictate what materials & design can be specified based on their costs along with the installation detail required.

January 2nd 0629hrs - You responded with a VERY long list of requirements & colour matching but no budget response for us to plan & design to which can take hours of company time for each enquirer & is required to progress further.

January 2nd 0640hrs - We responded with the following question due to your ignorance to the financial element questioned;
"Are you happy to spend a few thousand pounds on your project?"
We asked this because this is what you would need to spend based on your specific requirements & we do not offer free quotations

You never responded further & took straight to Trustpilot to leave a negative review! Why did you not respond? It was a genuine question we would ask before spending 4hrs planning & designing & accurately costing the project to the penny, there is little point in doing that if the customer does not have a realistic budget for their requirements!
Do your homework on what type of quality of provider you are contacting! Stop affecting hard earnt reputations & peoples livelihoods. As a consumer you are out of control by manipulating the events to suit your endeavours due to not being able to afford our services. We gave you the opportunity to amend your review to reflect a 100% genuine experience or remove it. Your act is one of commercial defamation of character couple with that of a keyboard warrior. it is not acceptable to proport a certain history of events that are untrue & unlimited in disclosure. What the review does is devalue the Trustpilot system as it is open to abuse by vexatious consumers & competitors!
Delighted
Delighted! From my first enquiry, it only took two days, including a good lengthy phone discussion about the layout and content of my under-stairs storage and some time to think, to get a quote. The work is just finished, just two weeks later. It has taken a day and a half to complete, and looks fabulous. James is tidy, quiet, and obviously perfectly qualified, as the result is entirely satisfactory. The space has been fitted with three drawers and two cupboards. The price seems stiff, but it is in line with other suppliers of bespoke fitted furniture. I definitely recommend UnderStairsStorage.

Top quality
Under stairs storage team has been spot on from the very first contact. Design to installation process completed smoothly. Richard was open to discuss my requirements and ideas and then incorporateed them well in the design. Though my storage wasn't too big yet the end result is amazing. I highly recommend this company and…
I highly recommend this company and their services. We had been looking at a lot of other companies but none of them came with the same level of expertise and quality. We have had our understairs storage for close to a year now and is so far the best investment we have done in our new house. For the amount of work and high quality of materials and installation, I think that the price is very fair. Richard has been very responsive from the start and is always available for more help and advice after the installation which is much appreciated. James was our installer and he was very professional and did an excellent job. You can trust them with your eyes closed!

If it is a flat pack slot in system it will not use all the space. Some companies claim to be bespoke but are not. This is evidenced by the usage of space vs the amount of wasted space across the entire solution. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain your experience. Brilliant company
After speaking with Richard I felt confident in the company and product. We had to change the dates of installation due to building work set backs and this was no problem for them.
James arrived on the day and protected the floor, consideration to where to saw the wood outside and very polite. James was remarkably skilled and cared for the finish look by adding a trim above. It looks amazing and works brilliantly.
Richard followed up with an email and courtesy call.
This was the most professional trades service we have ever used. Pleasure from start to finish. Thank you again.
