Bout a month or so later problem came back to it to dealer and had it check and found out ball joint on passenger side was wore down. Dealership notified United Car Care warranty company and they took care of problem. Dealership replaced with GM parts rides good like a Chevy!

United Car Care cares!

I used United Car Care twice during my two-year contract, and both times they came to the mechanic's quickly for a vehicle inspection and paid for substantial repairs. I can't speak highly enough of my most recent experience (thank you Xalan and Kevin!!) United Car Care inspected my vehicle timely so as to make sure major repairs were covered before my contract expired (I'm selling my car or I'd renew). They were super responsive to questions I had about my claim and went the extra mile to make my experience a positive one. I highly recommend United Car Care - not only for the peace of mind that their services give you, knowing you're covered if something major goes wrong with your vehicle - but also because of amazing customer service and a genuine concern about the folks they're doing business with.

A little less red tape please!!

My first call was less than satisfactory but since I didn’t give up and my agent at the tire shop was willing to put in EXTRA EFFORT and time my claim was honored!!! Making a claim should not be so cumbersome! I’m glad I am retired and have extra time to BUG. I was very pleasantly surprised that my 1600 bill was reduced to 500 out of my pocket!!!

United Car Care was excellent

United Car Care was excellent. This was our first experience with them. Our a/c condenser went out, they approved the repair almost immediately and payment was also made to the service center very quickly. I highly recommend them.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!
I wish I did not have to give this company a star. ALL the claims reps are rude treat you as your garbage. They have no compassion or empathy for the stress of not having a working vehicle. I purchased this through a dealer. I wish I would of read the reviews before purchasing this warranty. I have lost so much money dealing with this company from paying for rentals lose of work going back and forth to the dealer and this company could careless. I have had so much stress and aggravation with this company. They DO NOT CARE about customers. This has been a total nightmare. Update I would like to thank Kevin as he was the only agent to actually treat me a human and showed he cared. This has been a stressful 2 month process. If you would have just gotten the transmission from Chevy in the first place would of saved us both time and you money.

"Hi Danielle,
We are sorry that you haven't had the best experience when speaking with our claims adjusters. We do understand that vehicle repairs can be frustrating, and we always aim to make our customers' experiences as effortless and worry-free as possible. At times, especially as in your case, when we're acting as a go-between for replacement parts and vehicle rentals, our stress levels are up, but our goal is never to pass that stress along to our customers. Again, we apologize for not meeting your expectations from a customer-service aspect.

Fortunately, we have been able to cover $10,935.75 in claims for you to date (UPDATED 10/21/21), including $5,239.01 so far for this most recent transmission replacement. And we finally heard from the rental car company and were able to facilitate your rental between them and the parts supplier.

So, please know that we are listening, taking your grievances to heart, and doing our best to move forward in a way that is positive and beneficial for our customers and our business."

This company is a predatory nightmare

I’d like to preface this terrible review by saying that as an Active Duty Army Soldier, when a company prides themselves in the word “integrity” (as branded all over their website) I’d like to think they stand by that word. This company absolutely does not. My horrors started when I took my Ram 1500 into my dealer immediately after a check engine light came on. I drove the truck less than 10 miles, straight to the dealer. This sentence is extremely important, as it is the basis of all my horrors with this company and their lack of integrity (which ironically they “pride” themselves in). My service advisor gets me in immediately and troubleshoots and fixed what was originally thought to be the issue. On the test drive, they notice there is a larger issue. The engine is torn down further, and it is found that the engine needs to be replaced. They send out an inspector and my service advisor informs me that this is a known failure and should definitely be covered under the United Car Care warranty that I purchased less than a year ago, from the servicing dealer. Well, I don’t hear back for over a week, and neither does my service advisor. I finally get through to a “claim representative” and he informs me that they will only cover a lifter replacement, and not an engine replacement. Keep in mind, according to Chrysler, if my issue is present, the engine needs to be replaced. My service advisor and his supervisor reach out the United thinking it must be a mistake. It is a pretty clean and clear issue after all. Denied. Next I reach out my my “claim representative” and try to get information about why the claim is being denied and am told because of “continued use,” there is nothing he can do about it, and I need to talk to his supervisor. I then ask for any and all documentation related to my claim, and am told that “it is company policy not to release any documentation.” What kind of “integrity” is this? None. I then try to reach out to the supervisor because their denial for the claim is completely Unfounded. Driving to the dealer didn’t cause engine failure, and the owners manual states to bring it to the dealer if the check engine light comes on…. Yet this is the reason my claim is denied. I’ve called the “supervisor” multiple times over the past week, with no return phone call, and no documentation. Seems like a company with so much “integrity” is ducking my calls because they know they are in the wrong. If this is how they treat service members and their companies, this company should be sued into bankruptcy. The service advisor and his supervisor, the tech, and the very dealer that sold me this warranty all believe that it should be covered. This is not “integrity,” this is a complete lack thereof. This company is predatory, and does not deserve to be doing business. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

United Car Care cost me money to tear down my engine, knowing it was an uncovered claim

My Audi mechanic called United Car Care for me, stating that my engine was consuming oil and the compression in cylinder 3 was using 60% of my oil which is ultimately ruining my engine. The United Car Care inspector told Audi that the engine would need to be torn down for him to see what was the cause of the fault. I emailed the person and he called me back stating the process of getting the claim approved is to tear down the engine. I authorized Audi to do this, because G. Fouts told me that was the net step in the process. After the engine was torn down, G. Fouts came back out, and almost instantaneously sent an email denying the claim, since it was a consumption claim. I contacted United Car Care and spoke with a person named Kevin. Kevin said "well the claim was denied because consumption is not covered, and the claim was presented to us as consumption" to which I asked "then why did your adjuster insist I tear down the engine then if he already knew it was consumption and that consumption is not covered?" That was on 9-8-21 at 4:04 pm and I was advised by Kevin that he "would see what he could do." So I have spent over $4000.00 on a warranty, which I have never filed a claim on my car until now, and it is immediately denied after they cause me to have to pay $6000.00 for a tear down of my engine so they can knowingly deny the claim due to uncovered consumption claim. The worst, and this was purchased through Endurance Warranty, with the insurance being Mepco. A complete scam and waste of money. I purchased my auto warranty through Endurance Warranty.

#UnitedCarCare #EnduranceWarranty #Mepco

UPDATED 10/4/21:

The documentation presented to United Car Care states that the car was consuming oil. Consumption is not a covered item under their warranty unless there is a catastrophic event. I did not know that off hand, but the the inspector who came out and who was advised that the car was consuming oil DID know it wasn't covered. Their argument is that if the car was disabled and it was a catastrophic event, then the oil consumption could have been covered. However, the car was not disabled and was drivable, so there was not a catastrophic event. Their inspector knew this information as well. The bottom line is that this guy did in fact know that the car was just consuming oil, that cylinder 3 was where the oil was being consumed, and he could have just been an ethical face of United Car Care and said it was not going to be covered. Instead, he and the company he is representing are UNethical in their practices of having a person tear the engine down to almost instantaneously, within the amount of time it took him to drive from the repair shop to his desk, deny the claim. He knew before he asked me to tear the engine down.

"Hi Lianne,
Fortunately, we've been able to cover $3,538.80 in claims for you to date, and hope that we'll be able to cover future repairs as they arise.

That said, while we understand your frustration with having experienced a repair that was not covered by your policy, it should go without saying that we only ever request vehicle inspections or component tare-downs to get to the root of the problem. Knowing the exact cause of a mechanical failure is paramount in determining whether a customer's policy will cover the needed repair. We certainly did not request a tear down of your engine with the intention of costing you money."

The terrible reviews are very well…

The terrible reviews are very well deserved. This company will do and say anything to get out of paying for what you have given them money for. DO NOT buy any kind of warranty from this company as you will never see your money or repairs.
Update:
First of all that was not my husband, but my son. You would have known that if you would have returned my call. Second, after the mechanic and your 3rd party inspector both told you this is not the way the car works, the radiator did not blow the head gasket, you refused to listen to both, drew your own conclusion and would not cover the head gasket; a covered item. As for my son’s language, he asked multiple times to speak to a manager and was refused that opportunity. After the before mentioned experts told your company that your conclusion was wrong and you refused to follow their advice and make up your own answer, yup, my son was pissed!! He is a hard working young man who depends on a service contract company that isn’t a flim flam of a business. The service contract will be stopped and I appreciate the offer for the full refund. This will help my son pay for the repairs.

"Hi Alara,
It sounds like you've had a pretty rough experience and we'd like to know what we can do to help. We searched in our system but were unable to find a contract for you. If you don't mind, please give us a call at (833) 815-2503 so that we can make sure your policy is with us and see what we can do for you. Reference #101133."

Update:
"Hi Alara,
I received your voicemail and was able to locate your contract given the information you provided. Let us first say that the denial of this claim was very simple: a non-covered component caused damage to a covered component. If the failure does not start with or is not caused by a covered component, then the claim is not covered.

We attempted to explain this to your husband when he called us on 9/7. Unfortunately, he chose to berate our claims adjuster, resorting to name calling and spewing profanities. Please know that while we understand that car repairs are frustrating enough as it is, and denied claims can increase your frustration, under no circumstances will we tolerate verbal abuse to any of our staff.

Our goal as a company is and must always be to provide the best service we can to our customers, but when that cannot be achieved with mutual respect and courtesy, the only option may be to take a step back. To that end, we want to offer you a full refund of your policy's purchase price. While we hate to lose any customer, we hope this will help you with any current and future car repairs. If you would like to initiate your refund, please contact us at (800) 571-6412."

Car Shield is great

As I said car Shield is great I have had two cars under carshield and both cars I haven't had any trouble when something goes wrong. They would repair it. My 2014 I had to put in the shop my AC went out and other problems they repair everything paid for all parts and labor with no argument. I have seen the commercials but I didn't believe them I am a walking witness that they do just what they say they would, take care of the problems. they paid it all and thank God because I would have been out of thousands

The One's Who Go Above and Beyond!!

United Car Care has been nothing but a pleasure to work with!!! Here is a little in depth into our experience:

* We recently had a great interaction with an inquiry on a claim account for warranty coverage. It was amazing to be provided with the service that we were given not to mention when we are in a world that should be focusing on enhance customer service but tends not to. Its hard to find good employees anymore and we can tell United Car Care has some great people working on their accounting/backend/claims team.
If we were on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best, we would have to give our experiences a big whoppin 5!!
But given the chance, if we could give it a 10 out of 5, we would.
At Sunrise Chevrolet work with a variety of other warranty companies when it comes to our service center, and we have to wait forever at times to even get a response back from accounts payable on simple things. Some more complex than others so we understand the wait but still, you know what I mean….
But every time we have had a claim submitted for United Car Care it has been nothing but simple, easy, and seamless. From start to finish, everything goes smoothly and even when or if bumps in the road come up, they are easily traversed and overcome. We just want to share our gratitude for the great experience with all our claims sent to United Car Care so far.
And on a side note, at Sunrise Chevrolet, we are an authorized dealer selling United Car Care for warranty coverage on vehicles that roll off our lot and we love knowing the coverage that we offer is ran by such a great group of people and most of all company.
Thank you for everything! Really appreciate it. (:

My air conditioner compressor went…

My air conditioner compressor went kaput, 2014 Tucson with 50k miles. Went to local Hyundai dealer, they checked it out and after a quick phone call to United Car Care determined all parts and labor were covered. Paid my $250 deductible, bill would have been $1014 so this one case paid about 40% of the contract.

Changed to 5 star

Edit: Changed to a 5 star review! Customer Service responded to my review. I called as requested and spoke to their rep. United Car Care is reimbursing me for the tow charge plus an extra $25. Apparently my car dealer had given me an outdated wallet card that did not have the direct after hours roadside assistance number listed. ORIGINAL POST: So I paid $1550.00 for an extended warranty through United Car Care. Supposedly 24 hour service. 10 pm I was stuck alone in an airport parking lot with a dead battery. Numerous calls later ("no one is available to take your call right now"), being on hold and told "this is the last message you will receive, from now on you will hear music". So much for 24 your service. I ended up calling another place and had to pay $65 for the "free jump start" that United Car Care should have covered.

"Hi Kathy,
There seems to be a bit of confusion. Our roadside services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but those services are provided by a separate company that is open 24/7, and their phone number is listed under the roadside benefits section of your policy and is stated in our after-hours message. United Car Care is open M-F, 6:30 AM to 6 PM, MST, so it sounds like you may have called us after hours by mistake. That said, please give us a call at (833) 815-2503, reference #101132, and let's see what we can do for you."

I had a beyond great experience with…

I had a beyond great experience with the claims representative I had on the other end of the phone. Erica knew her stuff, walked me through the process with ease and confidence, and was warm and friendly throughout. She has a real-human approach with her patience and gentle, sweet sense of humor, but maintained professionalism the entire time. I feel fortunate to have had her as my rep. and she made me more informed for the future times I need to use a warranty service (I am a newer service advisor for a car company who often uses warranty services). Bravo to Erica and all of the United Car Care team! Thank you for making the claims process an easier and happier one, as she truly brightened my day. You guys rock!
