United Car Care deserves a "0" rating

United Car Care deserves a "0" rating. This is a 'rip off' company. They don't want to cover any repairs as explained to me by their salesman. Please don't give them any money!

You didn't honor the dealership in October to repair the leaking shocks because your adjuster said they weren't leaking enough to be repaired and now you are saying that you will not cover this claim. I have contacted an attorney and followed his advice about requesting a partial refund. He will take it from there after your response. All the reviews posted online state exactly how your company treats customers and how you refuse to honor repairs. You need to don't live up to your motto: "peace of mind for that next bump in the road" There's no integrity and your reputability is negative -0.

"Hi Velma,
We've been able to cover $1,360.03 in claims for you so far, and after reviewing your account and this most recent claim, we must admit we're a little confused. You called us yesterday and we explained that the shop where you took your vehicle has not contacted us to have your claim authorized. Please know that, just like your previously covered claims, we need to hear from the shop to review your repairs.

Also, we do not sell directly to the public. You purchased your policy from a 3rd party seller, so anything you might have been told when you purchased your contract was not communicated by us."

This is by far the worse company EVER!

This is by far the worse company EVER! Our trucks transmission is broken and we are out of a car. We have been needing to rent a car which is now costing us over $1000! The company took a week to come out to inspect the car and give the ok for Ford to order the transmission. We keep waiting and then the transmission arrives and it’s the wrong one!!!! How is that even possible?!?! Now we have to wait until week for a new transmission!!! While we are paying on the car rental! They do not help out in any way! The person who is dealing with our case is not customer friendly one bit! If you are offer this for your car DO NOT accept! Find another company!

So the company replied below saying it was the shipping company yet the supplier just told us that “the transmission actually had too many mileage so they are sending a new one” Now was it damaged in shipping or was it a delay in their supplier? They can’t even get me the true story.

If it was a “limited free” warranty why even offer it if the customers are going to struggle to get anything done? I don’t feel like having this is doing me any good. If the dealership had told us that this company was only to go half a**ed help us out I would rather pay for a better company to help me. We have had to reach out to the company several times to get things moving. We have a child and we work full time that we can NOT be out of a car. I called and spoke to their representative and asked if it was the shippers fault the transmission is being delayed than I would like to contact the shipping company and explain the situation. We are having to go back and forth and just waiting all while we are paying for this car rental. I am not sure if it the dealerships using this company needs to be upfront with their customers saying it’s a “LIMITED” lifetime warranty so everyone is aware. We obviously were not aware of such and is now regretting it.

"Hi Hong,
What you received with the purchase of your vehicle is a free, limited lifetime warranty. These giveaways (warranties added on by the dealer at no cost to the consumer) are designed to help you save on some out-of-pocket expenses, and we've already been able to save you over $2,300 in the short time you've owned your vehicle.

We recognize that waiting for inspections and parts can make an already frustrating situation seem worse. The inspection company we contract with does their best to get an inspector to your location as quickly as possible, though sometimes no one is immediately available in your given area. In your case, the company got someone out as quickly as they could.

While we do all we can to make sure any part we order from a supplier arrives on-time and unblemished, we cannot control what happens during transit. Your transmission was damaged during shipment, but we contacted the supplier and they're acting as diligently as possible to get a replacement to your repair facility.

So, hang in there. We're working as hard as we can to get you back on the road and we thank you for your continued patience."

Happy to have the Platinum Warranty

I bought the platinum warranty from the dealer when I got my car 2 years ago, have never used it until now. They worked with a local BMW service center and a $1745.65 repair was completely covered minus the $100 deductable. Very happy with the level of service

After being told seals on front axel of my 2013 duramax would be covered. Dealer said they have to disassemble front diff to remove flange on seal area. UCC then said this was a non drive train issue and was a hardware problem.. what a joke of a company. $4000 of wasted money for a rip off service. Say no thanks to this company.. I will be taking them to court. Also said they would pay for only 1 day of rental car. Truck has been in service over 4 days

"Hi David,
We know it's rough, especially in the current socioeconomic climate, when a needed repair is not covered by your service contract. Reviewing your claims history, it looks like we've been able to cover about $1,900 in repairs for you so far, and even in the claim you're referencing, we honored the repairs that were covered by your policy (right around $923 worth). Your contract does not expire for another few years or a few more thousand miles and we're happy to continue helping you wherever possible by the conditions of the contract you purchased, but in the meantime, why don't you give us a call at (833) 815-2503 so we can see if there's anything more immediate we can do for you. Stay away from this company

I took my 2008 BMW in for repair work. The shop called United Car Care and was informed the repairs are covered but they have to send an inspector out to verify the needed repairs. I was told this would take 24 to 48 hours. Here we are five days later and no inspector has shown up. I was told I cannot get a rental car until the inspection has been done. When I asked what I was going to do about getting around until the car is fixed, I was told I can get a rental out of my pocket and ask for reimbursement. Really!? I’ve been transferred around at least 4 times every time I call and get the “run around” by everyone I talk to, and I’m supposed to trust this company will reimburse me? I have had multiple issues with this company in the 2 years I’ve had the warranty. I paid a great deal of money for this warranty so I wouldn’t have to go through this. It didn’t work out, if you are reading this while researching this company, take my advice and stay away from them.

We recognize that your time is very valuable, and looking in our notes it appears that a couple of our claims adjusters have apologized to you for the delay in getting an inspector out to inspect your vehicle. While we stand behind our adjusters' statements, we also know that actions speak louder than words. Please give us a call at (833) 815-2503. Let's see what we can do to change your mind about us. 2017 BMW 328d Repair

I have a 2017 BMW 328d that the fuel pump detonated on which required the entire fuel system including the fuel tank to be replaced on. To say the least it would have been a very expensive repair (10K +). United Car Care to care of the whole process for me. All I had to do is make a single phone call to open a claim and they took care of the rest. It was a completely hassle free transaction. I couldn't have been happier with UCC and the repair work.

I had multiple issues with the engine in my GMC Sierra. When I took it to the shop, I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap, but I didn’t have the time to fix it myself. When I got my truck back the total cost was around $6k, but UCC saved my butt and covered 5k of that. It was still kinda rough that I still had to pay so much out of pocket, but it was better then the full amount. I feel like most people giving bad reviews were mad they didn’t change their oil or fix a paint chip or something. The company was very professional and handled my claim quickly and efficiently.

Would definitely not recommend this company
Truck went into the shop for shifting hard and started shaking, the shop contacted them and they sent out an adjuster, the tech recommended replacing the transmission since there was play in the gears and fluid was burnt. They said to replace the fluid and change the filters and that they would only cover half the cost and want me to pay $630 as well as rental fees which on the contract states they cover up to 25 dollars a day
It has been an ongoing battle with them and am about ready to take them to court
DO NOT GET WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company is terrible

This company is terrible. I got my car a year ago and was giving this extended warranty which I regret deeply. I wish I knew about this company before I agreed to get it. So I took my car to the shop for repair because it started to run hot I paided 800 dollars for my fans. I then got my car back and the next day I had to take my car back because it was still running hot. I then was told that it was the engine so we were told that I have extended warranty and that they would go thur them. My car has been in the shop for 3 months now and this company doesn't want to honor the warranty. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone please don't give your money to this company because they don't honor their contact or their customers.

Rip off alert

Be care full ! Before you sing the contract through endurance warranty or any other company that’s related to United car care ! They will Deny your claim for any reason and will not cover the cost please review them on BBB before giving them your money!
They will deny you by saying wear and tear if you have 100000 + miles car .... if your car has 100000 + miles this not the warranty you need ..

They will deny you by saying you are missing an oil change ..

They will deny you by saying the part is covered but the part that caused the problem was not covers so they will totally deny your claim ... and many more reasons!!!

Watch out endurance warranty rating on there website is fake !! Since I am a web developer! There rating for there website is made up 100%

In simple get some other company but don’t ever buy your contract from UNITED CAR CARE !!

"Hi RidaOP,
There certainly are a staggering number of scam artists in the world today. The automotive industry in particular hosts its fair share of bad eggs, but there are still a lot of good people and good businesses that respect their customers and provide the best services and products available. United Car Care is a company built on integrity, and we strive to maintain honest, openly communicative relationships with our customers.
That said, we were unable to locate a contract for you in our system, but if you do have a policy with us and are willing to give us a call at (833) 815-2503, we're eager to hear your thoughts on what we can do to better serve you and all of our current and future customers. Reference #101127."

We here at United Car Care can all attest to how frustrating it can be when your car stops running smoothly. Our policies, just like policies through any other provided (even including manufacturer warranties), do come with certain exclusions. This was an absolute waste of money

This was an absolute waste of money. I bought my car, 2009 Suzuki, in 2016 and was duped into buying an extended warranty. I paid $2500 for my Platinum coverage that will not cover my catalytic converter or a leaking valve gasket. The catalytic converter is not part of the policy (I got the policy with the most coverage), and the valve gasket is not leaking enough, according to their insurance guy. If I could do things again I would not waste my money on their product. I can only forward my experience onto others so they can make an informed choice. Save your money, do not get UCC extended warranties.

That's not a diagnosis it's a RIP off scam! When he went to pay the mechanic left the ignition on so the car was dead & he didn't even have jumper cables. I paid for a 96 month warranty on a used car from VW. When in fact it was for48 months! Total ripoff liars. The car was 4 years old when I got it and paid thousands to have a eight year warranty from the time I purchased it. The claim department told me it was from the date that the car was new. WHY would I pay for fours years on a car I did not even own. This company is a scam. Beware!!!!!
