scooter with roof back in…
Bought my scooter with roof back in February.
Delivered and couldn’t have been happier until the screws came off at the front leaving it wobbly and unstable. It took over 3 weeks for the guy to come out and fix it!
I was concerned because it was wobbling around it would put pressure on the back screws. When he came I asked if he could tighten the back ones too. His comment was their more trouble than their worth. I was unwell the evening he turned up but trusted he had sorted it.
Went out the next day to walk my dogs and realised it was still wobbly at the back. Has it got more loose the noise was awful. It sounded like the scrap man was on his rounds. People could hear the noise from inside their house. After it had been reported it took 6 weeks for them to come out.
I had, had enough at this point and asked that they remove the roof!
I did at this point ask that they refund my money for my roof as it was not fit for purpose.
He then tried to say I damaged the roof!!! Speaking in a foreign language over the phone I had no idea what they were saying!
Where the roof had been fitted the put little plastic things coving the holes. Which will no doubt fall off.
If you are reliant on a scooter like me the waiting times for them to come out are horrendous.
I will take this company to court if I don’t get a positive resolution.
Great Veleco Draco and exceptional service
I ordered this mobility scooter on a Sunday evening and it was delivered the very next day! It is extremely well made for a very moderate price, and has a lithium battery which should last much longer than those of my old scooter.
As I have severe arthritic hands, I enquired by email whether a slight modification could be made to the throttle set up, and to my surprise they said they would send an engineer and do this free of charge! Sure enough, Michael the engineer arrived a few days later, and did the modification. It is now so much more comfortable for my hands. I cannot praise this company enough, and I absolutely love my new scooter.

I purchased a velcro fast mobility scooter back in April and put a review on here about the excellent service this company provide.
Once again I have caused to praise this company once for coming out to adjust the turning circle of the scooter as it was too tight and secondly, I wasn't getting the mileage out of it that I should get and, once again, after sending an email to them and velcro responding immediately, both problems were dealt with quickly with no hesitation at my own home.
When sending these emails, we have a friendly banter and everybody is very happy, cheerful and helpful at all time's.
There are a lot of companies out there who could take a leaf out of this companies books, their manners are impeccable and they are all very nice.
Can't praise this company enough.
I have had my Veleco Faster for 2 years…
I have had my Veleco Faster for 2 years now and only had to call them out twice. Once when a brake disc became loose and today because I turned it over and broke a brake lever (my fault). Always friendly and helpful and come out asap.

Delivered today 29 July 25 by driver Wojciech Boral, very good service and polite person, informed by email it was due today and driver called a few hours before to confirm the time.
Instructions quick as being an ex-biker the controls are similar to a motor bike. Quick test drive but needs a few hours to get used to, so need a run with the dog, my main reason for buying as I am finding it harder to walk him, German shepherd. The scooter is well made and purchased based on reviews of this one and 5 others of comparable size, this met my needs.

UPDATE - 4 weeks after my last request for a refund, got a phone call from the manager who said he had been on holiday for 3 weeks offering an apology and a refund, which I received today. This was conditional on my changing my review - well here it is, I have added another star for them doing the right thing at last.

Total lack of communication. Should have seen the red light when before commiting I posted questions on their chat - these never got answered. Decided in the end that I would request the scooter I wanted for a test drive. Order placed, order confirmed by email and delivery promised in 1 to 2 weeks. No further contact made by them so 2 weeks later sent email asking when I could expect delivery. They emailed to say they were waiting for the warehouse to contact them. Another week went by, I emailed again and was told that as there was a bank holiday, nobody was available at the warehouse. Eventually I gave up on email and rang (by this time it is 3 weeks after placing order) selected delivery, got no response - rang again but selected sales who eventually managed to raise someone in the warehouse. Was told that my scooter would be delivered either Friday or Saturday. I received no further communication. Friday came and went, so I had to assume it would arrive on Saturday. During Saturday, I got very stressed. Tried calling them but nobody there on the weekend. I was due to go into hospital on the Monday and was being presented with a scooter for a test drive at an unknown time which I being expected to make a decision about. I would not have had the opportunity to really use the scooter for some time now due to it being a week late and my impending hospital stay. My biggest fear was what would happen if it broke down during the warranty? If this was their level of customer service at point of sale, what chance would there be of a repair. Having waited all day, finally got a call from the driver saying he would be with me some time after 5.30 pm. I told him to not deliver as the order was being cancelled. He asked why I had not let him know earlier, to which I replied that I did not have any means of contacting either him or Velobike. They refused to return my deposit of £50 as they maintain they did nothing wrong.
