I have requested a refund on multiple…

I have requested a refund on multiple occasions and was advised the business is going into liquidation. I requested the dress I returned be sent back to me if I would not be getting a refund and they will not respond to my emails.

Just received this email from Vesper247, Looks like they really have gone into liquidation! I am so upset it was always my favourite dress brand, trying to get a chargeback via my bank!!

Awful

Ordered a dress for an occasion, no warning that the dress would be non refundable because of the company having financial difficulties and now after emailing several times I am told they have gone into liquidation. Not good enough, absolute robbery of people’s money.

Vesper have essentially robbed a huge amount of money from us all collectively

I am now waiting two months for my money to be refunded from Vesper for the returned order that was received by them on: 21 December 2023. As well as the money I am owed for the dresses I returned I paid 20 euro for tracking as evidence for fear they would not refund my money based on the reviews I read at the time of purchase. Now I wished I never purchased from them at all. The threading on the dress I did keep has came completely loose despite not yet wearing it.

I have emailed Vesper 4-5 times to get an update and I have only received automated responses or, more recently, no response at all. I am so disappointed to read that so many others are experiencing this problem. It gives me very little hope. Vesper have essentially robbed a huge amount of money from us all collectively and there should be consequences for this. If anyone has any recommendations on what I can do please let me know.

Still awaiting refund after 4 months

Hi just keeping everyone updated with my ongoing pursuit of my refund process
I last placed a review on Trustpilot on 1/2/24
Still nothing at all only the same generic email asking me to send my details then they can help. Well here they are yet again, so everyone can see you have them

The usual response includes how thankful they are for my patience and that a team is working hard to resolve my problem

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. I'm still waiting a refund from something I returned over a month ago - like some other reviews I have also contacted them and received no reply or update.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

The new automated message says that they have gone into liquidation which puts anyone with a refund at the bottom of the creditors file (well behind HMRC), so I highly doubt many will even see their money now. Hopeuflly most have purchased items on a credit card and have a higher chance of getting their money back.

However, when looking on companies house there is no record of a liquidation process. In addition, their shareholders funds in their last set of accounts was over £200k and over £485k at the bank - so I would be intrigued to know how much the directors/shareholders have taken out since then to force the company into liquidation.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

Abysmal service, I’ve contacted this company over a dozen times even sent a letter - ALL IGNORED. It’s been 2 months and I still haven’t received a refund they’ve had the item back since the beginning of January. This company is a SCAM.

Help to get refund

I ordered dresses from this company in October and despite being in regular contact with them, I have just received an email saying that they have gone into liquidation. I went into my bank (Halifax) who supported me in starting a claim against Vesper, as they have had my money for 4 months, to get my money back or the bank would refund me the money. Hope this helps others in the same situation.

DESPICABLE COMPANY

This is the most disgusting company ever. They broadcast everywhere there clothes to then not refund people, takes ages to get back to you and leave others out of pocket. This is the 2nd time this stupid company has done this. First time I luckily got my money back but now I’ve been waiting since November. Disgraceful and your clothes are subpar.

Still chasing a refund!

Still chasing a refund. I have been contacting their customer service team since beginning of January chasing a refund from items returned to them at beginning of December!! I have sent numerous emails and given them time to respond (5 days) and have yet to received any updates or refund for the items. Terrible service and avoid at all costs!

Filed their last confirmation statement on 24th Jan 2024 so all looks fine?
I think this is yet another excuse not to refund :(

Still no refund

First time I ordered from this brand was in December and returned the dress as it didn’t fit. They received my return on December 29th and I’m still waiting for a refund. 54 days of waiting and still no refund despite multiple emails querying it, just to be fobbed off with some copy and paste “sorry for the inconvenience” reply. As it was paid through Klarna I’ve had to deal with them as well and they are now looking into what’s actually going on. Yes, their dresses are nice but don’t risk ordering anything as you probably won’t get your money back if you return it.
It’s giving off a scam company vibe.

Terrible refund waiting time.

Ordered 6 dresses (3 styles but each in a 6 and an 8 so I had options and different sizes for trying)
I used Klarna as this was a big order; kept one dress, returned the rest the Friday following the Tuesday they were delivered and then paid for the dress I kept and delivery. Expecting to be refunded for the items within the 28 days to my Klarna account.
They took over TWO months to refund my money. How’s that even legal? I had luckily kept receipts and all emails I exchanged with vesper customer services (who honestly are just useless all they say is “sorry we are getting this processed as soon as we can” it’s just not good enough) otherwise Klarna weren’t going to accept I had returned the items and force me to pay the full amount despite me bringing this up to Vesper numerous times and they didn’t care- this could have got me into serious bother with credit scores when I had done nothing wrong.
For the hassle and the disgrace in the speed of service, I wouldn’t bother ordering from these.

Absolutely appalling

If I could give 0 stars I would.
I’ve been waiting on a refund for 3
Months. I kept getting responses saying they are behind due to the busy Christmas period. I’ve now had a reply to say they are going into liquidation! I’ve not been told anything about my refund and they owe me £300+!!
