It would be very helpful to know where the buyer is located so we can provide any relevant information about shipping costs to that country, whether the goods are subject to customs duties, and whether shipping is by air or land—all to avoid any unnecessary problems related to the sale and purchase of goods.

The platform is dying

The platform is dying. The fees are extremely high for sellers and buyers. The customer service is poor and it has generally going down, unfortunately.

Very happy with this order

Very happy with this order. Amazing condition as stated in the description. complete with even the hanger for the jacket and the piece for protecting the jacket when it's. The right size, a very good price for this rare size.

Lack of communication

I didn't like the fact that the seller isn't very communicative. I asked very politely for additional information, but he or she didn't even bother to apologize.
It was my mistake not to insist on it. I will resell the item.
The delivery was good, but not the packaging.

I’ve had my eye on a pair of these…

I’ve had my eye on a pair of these boots for the longest time but couldn’t justify the cost of them new!
I found a pair on here, they’re perfect and was a really good price! Fast delivery too!
Only thing I wasn’t aware of was the international shipping charges etc, so that did raise the price.

Great!!

I live in America and I was visiting my grandma in Poland, so I shipped a pair of shoes to my grandma. I was very nervous about what the process would look like, but I did not have to do anything. It took about 3 days for the seller to ship, then a week for my shoes to arrive. They were precisely what i wanted and Vestiare checked my shoes for authenticity and to see if they match what the seller said.

Good for designers but UX needs work

Great for selling designers but the app experience still feels clunky, it doesn’t allow you to rate or give feedback on sellers and they are very pushy with trying to convince you to push down your price or bombarding you with recommendations you did not ask for.

Update to their response: I understand how your platform works but buyers should be able to review based on what was received in person and your pricing algo needs work as it will recommend you change your price based on a similar item that is in a different condition to yours.

Good platform, high commision

Overall really good platform, only the selling fees became very high. Especially because most of the work you still need to do yourself. (Pictures, messages, description etc) I like the platform for its safety but I can sell my products for the same work and for a higher price somewhere else.

Vestiaire Collective wrongly labelled a returned item

"Vestiaire Collective rejected my item but returned it via FedEx classified as a standard commercial shipment instead of a 'Returned Goods / Rejected Return.' This critical logistics error caused FedEx to improperly charge me import GST and admin fees. Customer service refuses to acknowledge this administrative shipping mistake and only sends automated policy templates about item rejections.

I am pleading with Vestiare to improve this with their logistic team. As by law we should not pay GST twice on the same item, and on a return item.

Extremely high selling and buying fees, most of any platform

The fees are extremely compared to what the buyer is paying so they always want to offer less and less and even still we are making very little off the sale (referring to all the extra fees a buyer pays, they are constantly messaging me asking for discounts as for example one of my recent sales the buyer payed themselves almost $1000 more than what I earned on the sale. This discrepancy leads to very lowball offers and often a hard time selling items vs many other platforms that a buyer can purchase for closer to the payment the seller will actually receive.)

You have the option to accept or decline offers. Buyers can also choose whether or not to purchase the item, even if you have accepted their offer. If you do not wish to receive an offer, you can disable the "Make an Offer" feature in your listing section.

Once an item is listed, we cannot increase its price; we can only decrease it. If you would like to set a higher price, please remove the existing listing and create a new one at your preferred increased amount.

Absolutely disgraceful service

Absolutely disgraceful service. I bought a pair of sunglasses and tried to use the 15% discount code that was sent to me and was still being advertised on the website, but it didn't work. After contacting customer service, they sent me a replacement code that had already expired. How can a company send customers expired discount codes? It's completely unacceptable and a waste of my time. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I have no confidence in this company and will not be buying from them again. Avoid if you expect competent customer service.

The company takes far too long to pay customers. In addition, they price items well below value. It is admittedly fun to negotiate with buyers.
