Absolute joke. Zero communication and non-existent customer service.
I purchased a pair of Gucci trousers over a week ago and opted for the authentication service. The seller did their part and shipped the item out almost immediately. Since then? Absolute radio silence from Vestiaire Collective.
It has been over seven days and there is still no update showing that the package has even arrived at their authentication hub. My money was taken instantly, yet I am completely in the dark about where my luxury item actually is.
Trying to get a straight answer or any form of help is impossible. The lack of customer service is appalling and utterly disgraceful for a platform dealing with high-value goods. If you value your peace of mind and your money, avoid this place. Unprofessional is an understatement.

Inaccurate checking process
I brought a pair of knee-high Ganni boots that stated brand new, no faults. But I discovered the zipper was broken. A section in the middle had detached, over time it probably would worsen and have to be replaced. The boots did go through the Vestiaire checking process and had a little card confirming that the boots were brand new, perfect. Clearly not!
They were really good in the returns process and I got a full refund. (I also found the exact same boots for the same price on SSENSE)
Now I don’t really trust their checking processes…

My daughter suggested I sell my boots on Vestaire so helped me to set it up. Im not very technical so she did most of the set up. From there the process was quite simple. I appreciate how easy it is and the suggested prices. I eventually lowered the price so my boots sold that same day. The packing and posting was super easy. I found the entire experience quite fun for an old lady of 66. Having DHL come pick up made it stress free. I like that it goes to be authenticated so the person buying is protected. But it also means they cant receive the item and make claims like other sites where Ive refunded even though the item was perfect when I posted it. Over all terrific experience!
